This place didn't serve beef; it was a restaurant specializing in pork.

Eat the top part of the body as sashimi then have the rest made into squid. They tried to sell me a mini kaisendon along with this, but I'm glad I passed as I was already full enough without it.

I always order Gyoza at Izakaya. It's cripsy outside and juicy inside such a good pair with Nama Biru.

Question In Search Of Renokonten lotus root tempura chips.

Hello good people of Reddit! I'm currently in Japan (Yokohama at the moment, Osaka next) on an extended trip and I'm constantly on the lookout for Renokonten lotus root tempura chips (preferably the seaweed flavored ones in the attached photos) A friend of mine and I had then the first time on a previous trip and fell in love with them. Problem is, they don't remember where they picked them up and I can't seem to find them. I've tried a million Lawsons, 7/11's, Donkis and local supermarkets (plus several Google searches) but I keep coming up empty handed. Has anyone seen them around or know som places I could check? Thanks In advance! 😊
