I recently passed the CIA exam, and I wanted to give back to this community since the advice, tips, and experiences shared here helped me a lot throughout my review.

Instead of letting all my notes, reviewers, and study materials sit in a folder or eventually get deleted, I decided to organize everything into a website that others can use. After taking the actual exam, I also updated and improved the content, study flow, and features based on what I experienced during the real test.

Note: This is only for CIA Part 3.

I'm with the 2nd line of defense, and I am exploring tools to automate SOX Testing for both business and ITGCs. Curious to hear your experience with any of these? Also, we are a Auditboard and Google shop, so integration with these are key.

Generally, my view is that these tools are just "ok". They automate evidence review and preparing workpapers, but we still have to manually do a lot of ground work, such as: get the population, select samples, get the evidence, upload everything into the tool, and then it will do its magic.

I’m preparing for the CIA Part 1 exam and I’m looking for good study materials. Unfortunately, Gleim is a bit expensive for me at the moment.

If anyone has notes, summaries, practice questions, mock exams, flashcards, or any other helpful resources they’re willing to share, I’d be extremely grateful.

Also, if you cleared Part 1 using free or low-cost resources, I’d love to know what worked best for you.
