Im super excited! Ive been wanting this specific TOD poster for YEARS and I finally found one in good condition for cheap thanks to a fellow fan!

I finally watched all 5 Indy movies and just wanna give my 50 cents worth of thought.

I'm no savant on these movies or any others but my basic thoughts might be worth something. Might even be a hot take or 2.

Raiders. It's obviously the Goat and is just masterpiece in these type of adventure movies. Every character does what they are supposed to do.

Temple of Doom. I strongly dislike this movie not because it's flawed massively or anything but it just has some no likeable characters for me. Both the love interest and shorty I believe. Don't care for them. The whole movie is supposed to be dark but it tries too hard. It's honestly my least favorite.

Crusade. Connery is a legend. He just adds so much for me. I love most Connery movies so. It has some good laughs. Definitely my 2nd favorite and most rewatchable as far as if it's on TV I'll watch it IDC where it's at in the movie.

Skull. Flawed. Yes. Different yes. Alittle strange at times? Yes. But I like the aliens and I like mutt. I feel he deserved to continue the series.

Destiny. I'm disappointed mutt is killed and I don't love the dial on goes back to the Syracuse battle but Im glad it exists..

For me it's raiders, crusade, destiny, skull, doom.

I just watched a randomly selected episode of the Poirot series. *Appointment with Death* immediately evokes a familiar adventure-archaeology vibe. But I was pleasantly surprised to see Paul Freeman in one of the roles, as well as John Hannah from The Mummy.

Any other fans of this brilliant show still out there? I LOVE IT! Big budget, ambitious storytelling, cracking performances and a whole lot of fun to boot!

It was also extremely well intentioned and even educational. I would know nothing of Albert Schweitzer, for example, if Indy hadn’t run into him during his time in Africa fighting in the Belgian army in WW1.

It’s a pity this show was cancelled, because we were left hanging just as Indy was heading to uni to study archaeology and there were loads of storylines still to be explored, such as meeting Abner Ravenwood and young Marion, his fledgling relationship with Rene Belloq and maybe even the Jastro expedition.

Arguably it was too ambitious for its day, but would be brilliant to see it picked up again and really invested in because it was terrific to see some of the key events that shaped the legend!

Any particular highlights for you? I really enjoyed the episodes centring on his time in the trenches - and it was so good to see Harrison Ford pop up in ‘Mystery of the Blues’.

Great Circle is the new powerhouse, and Fate of Atlantis is an iconic classic, but I got my kicks with the Last Crusade adventure game. Here's one of my favorite bluff failures in Castle Brunwald. :)

I've been trying to find a good reputable seller/store who makes high-quality replica Indy hats within Canada - the only ones I could find are either from America, Australia, or Europe. In issue 3 of raiders is the grade 7.0 Fine/Very Fine.

The format is Video 8, or 8mm. The quality's not bad, but finding a deck to play them can be difficult. Thankfully, my Sony Video 8 VCR works like a charm.

I’ve played just about every Indy game ever released (including the surprisingly clunky and extremely disappointing Great Circle) and there really is still nothing to beat Fate of Altantis.

It’s a cracking story, the three game modes give it loads of replayability and it feels very ‘true’ to the Indy character and the earthy groundedness of the original trilogy. Sophia is a fine sidekick, and when you throw in the awesome graphics, music and voice acting, it still holds up marvellously.

Who’s still a fan of this? And which game mode do you like best? I’m a sucker for the team path, because the more Sophia, the better 🤠

I genuinely believe an anthology Indiana Jones animated series would be an incredible addition to the franchise. It would be the perfect opportunity to explore new adventures that fill the gaps between the films or even expand on the journeys that take place between major story beats.

Imagine episodes featuring characters who were only briefly seen in the films but clearly share a deep history with Indy, like Wu Han, Jock, Basil, Oxley, Renaldo. I can go on and on! There are also countless opportunities to spend more time with the beloved characters we already know and love. I would love to see more short round, more Mutt and Indy, More Indy and Henry Sr. Post TLC

there is so much lore that has only been hinted at on screen, leaving so much untapped storytelling potential. An animated series could also adapt the novels, video games, or even reimagine the Disney ride as canon adventures that fit into the established timeline.

I am a younger fan and I love this franchise, and I want to see it continue to thrive and I think this would be perfect. It’d be like the clone-wars equivalent for Indiana Jones!

The comic was Rocketeer One-Shot 2023, where one of the main characters is a college professor who gets into the action and saves Rocketeer from a gang of museum robbers in the end. IDW doesn’t own the rights so it had to be subtle, but the final page makes it very obvious who it is. The Rocketeer has a long history of finding legal loopholes to get heroes into his stories (the original comic had Doc Savage and the Shadow appear, both in the lawyer-friendly way).
