Audio Offer [ForHire] Game Composer & Game Audio | Orchestral, Electronic & Adaptive Music

Hi!

I'm a composer writing music for video games. Over the past five years I've composed for a range of indie titles and have also written several symphonic works that have been performed live by full-scale orchestras and received enthusiastic responses from both audiences and critics.

I've written music ranging from exploration and combat themes to cinematics and main themes, and I'm comfortable adapting my writing to a wide range of musical styles (orchestral, electronic, retro, metal, rock, cozy...) depending on the artistic direction of the project.

Beyond composition, I also work on the technical side of game audio, using FMOD, Wwise and MetaSounds to design and implement adaptive music systems. I've also developed custom adaptive music systems for specific projects when required, and I'm happy to help with in-engine integration and other technical aspects of game audio when needed.

Before becoming a full-time composer, I completed a PhD in Physics, which has given me a strong technical background that I regularly apply to game audio and programming. I regularly work with Unity, Unreal and Godot, and have experience programming in C#, GDScript, C and Python. Depending on the project's needs, I also occasionally contribute code beyond game audio.

Artist Needed [RevShare] Looking for a 3rd Artist for 3d Puzzle game - First Project

Upvotes

Project Details: A 3D puzzle game where you escape rooms using absurd, “wrong but somehow right” logic. Example: light a vape to trigger the fire alarm’s smoke detector, which unlocks the door. Puzzles blend real-world escape-room logic with comedic left-field solutions. Built in Unity. First project - currently in early concept/prototype stage, keeping scope tight to ship something complete.

Looking For a 3d Artist for Environment/prop modeling (rooms, interactive objects, puzzle items). Basic animations for interactive objects (doors, switches, etc.)

I’m handling design, writing, production, programming, Unity setup.

Looking for someone long-term to grow with!

Have a nice day!

PR/Marketing needed [Hobby] Looking for a short-form video creator for our dark-fantasy indie game

Hi! We’re Electric Kite, a small indie game studio and we’re looking for someone who enjoys making short-form gaming content and would like to collaborate with us in their free time.

Our game, Loot Dungeon, is a dark-fantasy incremental roguelite where death is progression. You fight monsters, collect loot, choose perks, create powerful builds, die, unlock permanent upgrades, and return stronger.

The game has a playable demo and releases on Steam on August 18:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4329670/Loot_Dungeon/

We’d like help turning our existing gameplay footage into simple vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This could involve:

  • Selecting interesting moments from gameplay
  • Editing videos around 10–30 seconds long
  • Adding hooks, captions, music, and simple effects
  • Experimenting with strange, funny, or mysterious ways to present the game

We can provide gameplay clips, trailers, GIFs, artwork, scripts, hook and ideas. You won’t need to record gameplay, appear on camera, use your personal accounts, or manage our social-media channels.

This is an unpaid hobby collaboration. There is no revenue share and no promise of future payment. It is not a job or internship, and there are no fixed hours, quotas, or required number of videos. We can start with one video and continue only if we both enjoy working together.

You’ll be free to use your work in your portfolio, and we can provide studio credit, feedback, access to the resulting analytics, and a recommendation based on your contribution.

Beginners are welcome. Experience with CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software is helpful, but a professional portfolio isn’t required. We will not ask for an unpaid test edit.

If you’re interested, send me a Reddit DM with a short introduction, any examples you have, the software you use, and what kind of gaming content you enjoy.

Programmers Needed [Paid] [RevShare] Versatile Unity/Godot dev wanted to build the base of a PoE-like autobattler RPG — playable prototype ready

Hi INAT,

I'm Retil, a software engineer (web dev by day) building a game on the side. It doesn't have a final name yet, but it already has a full, playable prototype (built in pure HTML) that I've tested with friends — the loop clicks, and they keep asking for "one more run." Now I want to bring it into a real engine, and I'm looking for a versatile developer to build that foundation with me.

The positioning

A PoE-like autobattler RPG: deep, satisfying itemization and crafting, wrapped in an autobattler where the fight plays out while you build the character.

To be clear about the "PoE-like" part — I mean the itemization and crafting feel (loot that's exciting to find, a crafting system with real decisions), not Path of Exile's overwhelming scope or complexity. This is meant to be a focused, digestible game you can actually finish a run of.

What it is, in general

You assemble a character through loot and crafting, then send it into battle — the depth lives in the build you put together, not in reflexes. Runs are self-contained but feed a meta-progression that persists between them, so every run leaves you a little stronger for the next.

Broadly, the game is made up of these areas:

  • Autobattler combat — fights resolve on their own; the meaningful choices happen beforehand.
  • Loot & inventory — the heart of the game: gearing up and optimizing what you carry.
  • A crafting system — decisions that shape and improve your gear.
  • Between-run progression — a camp/hub where permanent upgrades happen.
  • Run structure — branching paths and bosses, dark-themed, with its own lore.

Games we're drawing from

Reference points, so you know the vibe:

  • Path of Exile — itemization & crafting depth (the feel, not the scope)
  • The Bazaar — autobattler built around assembling a loadout
  • Teamfight Tactics (TFT) — autobattler decision-making
  • Megaloot — inventory-driven loot roguelite
  • Buriedbornes — deep-gear dungeon roguelike RPG
  • Carnedge(reference for tone/systems)

Current state

  • Fully playable prototype with the core loop, loot, crafting and progression all in, balanced across full simulated runs.
  • I'll share the prototype plus a design doc with anyone who's a serious fit — it's essentially an executable spec, so there's very little ambiguity about what we're building.

Who I'm looking for

A versatile developer / one-person-band who can touch a bit of everything — from placeholder art to sound — but, above all, someone who can build a rock-solid, extensible base I can keep developing on top of.

  • Comfortable in Unity or Godot — I'm engine-agnostic (for a systems- and UI-heavy game, Godot could fit great, but it's your call).
  • Clean, maintainable code matters to me — I come from engineering, and the goal is a real foundation, not a throwaway.
  • A plus if you can also help with art/sound direction, even at a rough level, to make it start feeling like a game.

What I bring

  • The full design and systems — this is my strong suit: a playtested loop, real balancing, and a clear vision.
  • The working prototype, so we spend time building, not guessing.
  • Fast, honest, technical communication.

Compensation — Paid, RevShare, or a mix

  • Paid (main offer): per milestone, with concrete deliverables — not hourly. Tell me your rates.
  • RevShare: open to it for someone who wants to co-build beyond the base. Fair split based on scope and involvement.
  • Mix: also fine. Tell me what works for you.

How to reach me

Comment or DM with:

  • Your experience / portfolio / released projects
  • Which engine(s) you're comfortable with and prefer
  • Whether you're after Paid, RevShare, or a mix
  • Anything you want to know about the project

I'll send the prototype to anyone who looks like a fit. Cheers!

Writing Offer [Hobby] Genuine Support

Hey everyone.

This might sound like a classic "trust me bro" post, but here goes.

I'm a hobby writer and worldbuilder. Creating lore, characters, cultures, histories, factions, connections between events... that's just what my brain naturally enjoys doing. I also love taking someone else's existing world and expanding it without losing its identity.

I'm currently building my own original universe and learning Blender to eventually bring parts of it to life, so I'm not looking for work or money.

What I *am* looking for is this:

If you're a solo game developer or a small indie team and you're struggling with your world's lore, character backgrounds, factions, mysteries, themes, or just making your setting feel deeper, I'd genuinely love to help for being in the credits at the end of You game..

No catch.

I don't want payment. I don't want ownership of your project. The only thing I'd ask for is a small credit in the game's credits if any of my ideas end up being used.

Whether your game is tiny or ambitious doesn't matter. Even simple mechanics can become memorable when the world around them feels alive.

I know this is hard to prove in a Reddit post, and I'm fully aware it sounds like "just trust me." That's fair. All I can say is that coming up with original concepts and connecting ideas has always been one of the few things that comes naturally to me.

So if you've ever thought:

"The gameplay is there... but the world just feels empty."

...send me a DM.

Worst case, we chat for a bit and nothing comes of it.

Best case, your game gets a world that's more interesting than it was yesterday.

Thanks for reading.

PS.

Im learning blender to bring My imagination and Universe to reality.

I even tried to use some program for the very first time with goal to create anything and let me show You [My First Creation EVER]

Modeler Needed [RevShare] Looking For A 3D Modeler & Animator To Build A Cricket Vertical Slice With A Small Team (Remote, Worldwide)

Hi everyone! Founder & CEO of AstraForge Interactive, a new game company based in Delhi, India. 10 years in the gaming industry, spanning AAA production, mobile development and game content analytics - Ubisoft India, Zensar, Gameopedia.

We're building a real-time 5v5 cricket multiplayer mobile game. Design doc and 12-week roadmap are done, Unity dev is already covered - the last piece we need is a 3D Modeler and Animator to help build the vertical slice: low-poly pitch/outfield, player and bat models and bowling/batting animations.

Compensation: this is pre-funding, so it's deferred comp/equity via a formal contribution agreement - no salary right now for anyone, including me. If that's not workable for you right now, totally understandable.

Looking for solid low-poly modeling and basic rigging/animation fundamentals - you don't need a big VFX/animation background. Reliability and communication matter as much as skill. Beginners and hobbyists welcome.

Time: ~14-18 hours/week, targeting a playable vertical slice in ~12 weeks. Remote, open worldwide - some IST overlap is a plus, not required.

Happy to walk through the pitch and relevant design doc sections once we talk - full documentation once you're formally on board via the contribution agreement.

Interested? Comment or DM With:
1. A bit about yourself.
2. Your modeling and animation experience (beginners welcome too).
3. Low-poly or character/prop samples, game jams, GitHub, or portfolio.

Thanks For Reading!

Team Needed [Forhire] Looking for a creative sales/client acquisition partner (Freelance | 50/50 Revenue Split)

Hey everyone,

I'm a multimedia designer and I'm looking for someone who enjoys finding clients and handling the business side of things.

The idea is pretty simple.

You find the clients, handle the communication and project management, and I'll handle all the creative work. Any project you bring in, we split 50/50.

I work with:

  • 3D Product Visualization & Animation
  • 3D Game Props/Environment
  • Graphic Design
  • Video Editing
  • Branding & Social Media Design

This isn't meant to be a full-time commitment or anything. You can do it alongside your current work, as a side hustle, or however it fits your schedule. As long as you're bringing in projects, we're both making money.

If you've got experience with outreach, sales, networking, or already know people who need creative work, I think this could be a good fit.

If you're interested, just send me a DM and I'll share my portfolio and we can chat more.

Thanks! 🙂

Writer Needed [PAID] Seeking Writers for a Pixel-Art “Genshin-Style” RPG Maker MZ Game — $100/Month Per Writer

Hello! I’m looking for one or more writers to help develop Chrysanthemum Chronicle, or ChrysChroni, a plugin-heavy pixel RPG being created in RPG Maker MZ.

The game is a single-player, non-live-service RPG inspired by games such as Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. It features a closed gacha, meaning every character is already included in the finished game. Characters rotate every 7–10 days using an in-game real-time system, but there will be no pressure to spend real money or keep up with constant live-service updates.

You play as Atlas or Chevron, a courier working for the Chrysanthemum United Postal Service. After discovering a sealed letter with no sender or recipient, you begin traveling across the world to uncover where it belongs.

The game will include:

  • Large explorable locations
  • Main, side, daily, weekly, and monthly quests
  • Playable story NPCs obtained through the closed gacha
  • Character stories and extensive lore
  • Crafting, gathering, equipment sets, and talent trees
  • A CTB/front-view battle system
  • New Game Plus and a 100-floor end-game dungeon

I am personally handling the full RPG Maker build, core story through the final boss, character artwork, gameplay systems, and project direction. I have more than 1,000 hours of experience with RPG Maker MZ.

I need help writing across all areas, including main-story support, side quests, recurring quests, character lore, world lore, NPC dialogue, item descriptions, and optional “idle” conversations.

Pay is $100 per month, per writer. This is intended as a small, ongoing part-time position with assignments divided into manageable monthly batches. Workload, deadlines, and expected deliverables will always be discussed before work begins—I am not expecting one writer to create the entire game for $100.

Please message me with a short introduction, your writing interests, any relevant samples or portfolio links, and the types of game writing you enjoy most. Experience with RPGs, visual novels, gacha games, or character-driven fantasy is especially welcome!

Writer Needed [ForHire] [Hobby] [Unpaid] In need of writers and animators

Heyy, i'm a writer and artist and i have this indie series I'm working on and I need more writers. I unfortunately cannot pay anyone who may take the offer, but any help is greatly appreciated i'm kinda desperate and friend recommended I promoted it on Reddit. so if I'm doing something wrong or this isn't the right place i'm sorry. If there are better subreddits for this, please let me know, I'd appreciate that as well. Any help would be appreciated, i've tried a lot of ways to find people but haven't had much luck. Any advice on how or where to get help would be nice as well.

So i'm working on a small project with some friends called Dalphy and Vera and we're looking for people who'd like to help. It's an upcoming animated webseries we plan to release on YouTube and Newgrounds, along with comics and extra content on Twitter, Instagram, Webtoon, and more.

The show is an absurd episodic comedy centered around three duos with very different personalities and dynamics. Each duo has its own style of stories and episodes, like three shows in one. The show mixes surreal/cartoony humor, edgy comedy, episodic adventures, supernatural elements, and some character-driven storytelling. Think Smiling Friends or Regular Show for reference.

Right now we have 5 finished episode scripts and a full show bible/character guide covering the cast, world, and future plans. We're mainly looking for writers and artists, but we'd also appreciate animators, background artists/animators/people who can make stuff for the social media/accounts, we're mostly struggling with writing and comics at the moment tho. We also make comic strips featuring the characters, but our social media accounts are pretty inactive, so help there would be great too.

Since this is an indie passion project, it's currently unpaidand will probably stay that way sorry😭

If you're interested, please let me know and hand me your Discord username and we can discuss there, it would be greatly appreciated, i'd love to meet and interact with more aspiring writers, i didn't want to make the message too long so, to briefly explain the different segments, the Dalphy and Vera episodes are sitcom/slapstick-focused, Phoebs and Riley episodes are more action/adventure-driven, and Joy and Shings episodes are more supernatural and story-focused, with the most character development, the most ambitious ones out of the 3. Art Offer [Hobby] Looking for a 2D Artist to Help Build a Mafia Text-Based RPG (Chicago Syndicate)

Hi everyone,
I’m developing Chicago Syndicate, a browser/mobile text-based mafia RPG inspired by games like Torn. I’m looking for a 2D artist interested in helping create the game’s visual style.
I’m looking for help with:
UI elements
Icons
Character art
Promotional artwork
Loading screens
The game is actively in development with a growing Discord community and a planned launch later this year.
This is a long-term passion project. While funding is currently limited, I’m personally investing in development and plan to pay contributors as the project grows.
If you’re interested, send me a DM or leave a comment. I’d love to share more about the project.
