I was amazed by how long the scene is. And praise to Emma and Matt for being able to speak a fluent fictional language for like two-three minutes. I mean I've been learning High Valyrian myself on Duolingo for a few months now, but I don't know if I can speak that good lol.

A post today had a discussion explaining that the lands around Herrenhal are super fertile, making it a very lucrative location in addition to being central to a lot of other important areas. So, why by the time that Game of Thrones took place hasn’t a great house taken the castle and either fixed it up, or knocked it down and built a new castle over top?

It seems like all of the physical word that exists in the GOT timeline was already in place during the HOD era. New castles? New technology? Anything?

I don’t think they’ve interacted on the show since the childhood scenes in season 1.

It seems Criston Cole’s death is being changed some, but he will still die.

Also, just fyi, the Butcher’s Ball happens completely in the first 6 minutes of the episode, and then the rest of the episode is essentially back to pace with episode 5. Although the Dragonseeds actually get to do something this episode.

I have been seeing this as a meme and people sighing when he claimed this in reaction videos - but this is the truth and is consistent within the show's logic.

Criston Cole is known as one of the best warriors, or the best, at single combat.

I wrote this in a response earlier, but we saw it as far back as the very first episode of Season 1:

• Criston was selected because he was a knight with battlefield experience already. (EDIT: This is confusing some people. I mean that Rhaenyra selected Criston Cole because of this alongside his looks and the show gave us the hint he is battle trained from Rhaenyra learning this.)
• Criston unhorses Daemon, who is known as one of the strongest in the show, and they've gone out of their way to show it. Daemon wasn't drunk or distracted either, he was trying.
• It is true Daemon seemed to have the upper hand on foot (EDIT: Upon watching it again, they are equally matched for a lot of the fight. Daemon is actively trying to defeat him) but then started boasting that likely cost him the match, but no one else - in the show's canon - has done the same yet. I saw this as Daemon and Criston being more or less equal, because Cole gave him quite a fight in the beginning.
• I believe, if memory serves, he disarmed one of the Twin knights at the end of S1.
• The reason Aemond is so powerful is because Cole especially taught him, and Aemond's combat has been shown to be fierce and respected.

The violence they show with Criston Cole is because he can do that violence - such as with Joffrey.

I saw the meme with Arthur Dayne's response to Cole, but... they are separated by 100+ years. So, this statement is quite true as Dayne, Jaime & Barristan do not exist right now.

Again another scene where the push the narrative of them being completely inoccent little angels that did no wrong while evil,disgusting, violent, rapist men ruin everything.

Genuinely, its sad how pathetic they are when compared to even someone as dumb as Cersei, and the saddest part is that this is absolutely NOT what the writers are trying to portray. The fact that they failed this bad at it is crazy.

When I saw his antlers while watching the episode, I thought it might be a plots related to Arros Baratheon, that new character who was announced and created for this season a while ago.
