Discussion Would House make a good vet? Spoiler
If he's an overall good doctor—great, even—and his problem is dealing with people, then he'd do well in veterinary medicine. My only concern is he's such a great doctor because he knows human nature so well he can easily detect lies and such, but I reckon it won't be too hard to learn animal habits. They don't speak, therefore he'd have to solve the puzzle on his own, they don't lie either it's basically a human case just skipping over the part where they lie and he doesn't believe them. Thoughts?

Question Did this show just get removed from Prime Video today in Germany? Spoiler
Just watched two episodes today (July 21st, 2026) and the a few more the past few days. It was still included in my Prime Subscription up to this point. I wanted to watch another episode and found that I'd now have to buy or rent the episode. A Google search didn't show that House MD among the list of shows that'd be removed this month. I only found older articles that stated an unknown time for unlisting. Just wanted to ask other German people if they've experienced the same thing?

Season 1 Spoilers S1E7 Fidelity Spoiler
Regarding the episode where the patient's affair with the husband's friend was exposed by her contracting African sleeping sickness. (The husband was played by the same actor as the incarnated brother from Prison Break).
Anyway, how come the husband and the friend who allegedly gave her the disease did not show symptoms? The husband _did_ have shortness of breath. But, the friend who allegedly gave it to her seemed to be full of life.

Discussion A detail I like Spoiler
In an episode from the early seasons the team is as usual thinking of what the sick rando has in the episode, in the process Cameron thinks of a disease but she cant remember its name
That's a detail I like at lot cause it shows us that even though they're great and really smart doctors they cant remember everything all the time cause in the end they are human beings

Discussion Do you have a House “season” or do you just rewatch whenever? Spoiler
I’ve rewatched House 7x and randomly got curious about my viewing history. Apparently, I almost always start around mid-December and complete by late Jan/early Feb. I have no idea why—it wasn’t even intentional until I noticed the pattern.
Just curious if anyone else has a specific time of year when they randomly start a House rewatch too and why?or just whenever the mood strikes..?

Discussion House and Cameron -- We all know exactly why that happened, right? Spoiler
Since there's a rule that doesn't allow spoilers in the title, I had to be vague. Hopefully you can figure out what the topic is.
When House rejects Cameron in season 1, "Love Hurts", at first it might be a bit hard to understand. House is a miserable man, always in pain, lives an unhappy life. A beautiful young woman wants to be with him. This has to make him happier. If you ask 100 men if they wanted to be with Cameron, 100 of them probably would say yes. Especially for House who is in pain, this is one of the few things in the world that could potentially make him happy.
And yet, he denies himself this opportunity. He doesn't even want to give it a try. What could it hurt anyway? For the love of God, at least sleep with her a few times. And House doesn't even want to do that.
I keep thinking about this. There is a very clear answer why, and I think the show explains it quite well. I'm just wondering if that is the consensus among all House viewers. There is absolutely no other interpretation here, no debate, as to why this happened.
House did it, because he is afraid of losing Cameron.
As much as House wants to date her and sleep with her, he can't handle the possibility that he's gonna lose her in the future. Because that gives him more pain. He won't even try to date Cameron, because he wants to avoid that pain, as much as he can.
That's the reason everyone can agree on, am I right?
