Image I’ve tried to create retro-style graphics for my game, but it’s turning into something rather mysterious.

Working on animating a parasite violently forcing its way out of a corpse for my horror game. Would love to hear your thoughts on the overall feel.

REHAUNTED, our steam indie horror game we made from our bedrooms. But there's a catch. You're a detective and you see paranormal and clues only through your magnifying glass.

Hi all,

We just announced our first project through IGN. Our goal is simple: to create something truly disturbing, intense and terrifying. We want the player to feel constantly on edge, not only because of jumpscares, but through the atmosphere, sound, story and the feeling that something is always wrong.

Don’t worry tho, there will be jumpscares too, strong and creative ones, not cheap scares thrown in for no reason.

If you like what you see, please support us by wishlisting the game and let us know what you think: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4538140/Rehaunted/

We’re here to talk, listen and improve, every comment and piece of feedback is welcome.

RPG Maker games... what do you think?

Post image

Hello everyone!

Having had a look around other subreddits, I’ve realised just how divided opinion tends to be. Some players love them, but many others dismiss them as soon as they see they’re made with that engine. What do you think? What sort of games (adventures, horror, etc.) do you think work best with RPG Maker? And what do you think sets a good game of this style apart from one that’s just run-of-the-mill?

Thanks in advance!

Inspired by classic survival horror with a focus on atmosphere, survival, and unsettling lore. I'd love to hear your honest thoughts!

Welcome to the gam3 - not scary

Anyone else think that this game was way less scary than the previous two? I think the whole "story" takes me out of it a lot. Makes it feel way too cartoony and goofy for the type of game it is.
