Dev Log Update Version 1.10 Preview: New Arena Audio

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to give a first look at some new additions coming to Hoop Land Update Version 1.10 AKA the College Franchise Mode Update! The first thing I wanted to improve on was the arena atmosphere of college games. I contacted the sound designer of the Hoop Land's current arena beats and requested some college specific drumbeats, crowd chants, and intermission band music. Check out the video for a preview of the new audio and for a small surprise at the end..

Some other small additions I've added:

- The ability to simulate a single round of the tournament/playoffs

- Players hair color will turn slightly more gray as they age (if Appearance Aging is enabled)

- Deceased players and coaches will appear in black/white

Hoop Land Steam Edition is also on sale for 10% off during the Steam Summer Sale going on now thru July 9 at 10 AM PT so don't miss out! I also plan to enable Steam Cloud save support soon so that you can easily sync your season save data across multiple devices.

The release date of Version 1.10 is still TBD but my goal is to release it before the end of the year. This is just the beginning and I will be showing off more development progress in the coming weeks and months. Be sure to let me know your thoughts below and have a great rest of your weekend!

Update Update Version 1.09.75 Available Now for Android, iOS, and Steam Edition!

This is a minor update that fixes some last minute bugs that were reported over the weekend. College Franchise mode will now be my main focus moving forward!

Discussion Hoop Land Update Concept

This concept is an open world concept. It will include home, practice facility, arena, stores, ect. You can sign nil deals to earn money, get shoe deals and and sponsorships for more money. You can buy homes with that money, I don’t think cars are necessary yet but it could work as a loading screen or you could manually drive to places. There could be a map. Also hear me out: love. You could find love and have kids. When you retire you can play as your kid or become a head coach and gm, or become an analyst. Or start a company for basketball. With enough money, buy stakes in a team. And obviously, NO MICROTRANSACTIONS. This is a crazy concept and I understand it could be impossible for koality as a single dev. But this is just a concept I wanted to share, not an expectation.

How to import players

I wanted to revisit this. I made a post a while ago asking if there was any way to import players from career modes/franchise modes that where custom made or randomly generated, and I was told that was impossible.

So for all those people out there wanting to save players into a league from your favorite saves, the convert to custom league is a lifesaver. You do need to get to the end of the season, but when you do, you can just select that button, and that save becomes it's own league that you can export players from at will.
