QUESTION Is WOA worth it?

So ive loved the hitman series for years, ive played most of the old games and the new hitman 1 and 2. Right now I have the 1st modern hitman on my ps4 and I really wanna try out freelancer. WOA is on sale for 30 bucks right now but im worried that it wont live up to the hype. What do you guys think?

MASTER CRAFTED MEME 47, your next target is Magomed Ankalaev, the most boring fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Ankalaev is guilty of putting many fans to sleep.

DISCUSSION Are dlc items nerfs in freelancer?

I’ve bought a few dlcs for Hitman and I noticed that after I complete a syndicate, sometimes there is a dlc weapon in my reward crate, preventing me from getting a normal weapon in the reward crate. However, the dlc items are not needed for prestige and the others are, and I wouldn’t be getting dlc items if I didn’t buy the dlcs, which will slow how long it takes me to prestige and prevent me from getting the weapons I actually need. On top of that when I prestige it wipes my dlc weapons that I didn’t actually need to prestige, making me feel like they are a nerf if you’re trying to prestige in freelancer.

QUESTION Did they nerf the blue easter egg?

So, if you don't know, the blue easter egg is an item that you get for completing an escalation in Berlin. You throw it and it produces a gas that sedates everyone around it. I remember it being an accidental sedative, but recently I tried using it and it gave me red guns when some found the body. Was it always like this?

DISCUSSION I know its for balance reasons...

But in terms of lore reasoning why dont they just make a a kalmer/seiker esque lethal poison dart gun. Seems like that would be the easiest way to do the job. I know they dont include it because it would ruin the game but i need an in world reason for my immersion! So Im looking to yall for theories.

QUESTION What makes a subdue attempt alert nearby guards?

When there's double guards patroling and one is somewhat further you can subdue the one behind, however I find that sometimes the other guard turns around. Is it just about the distance between the two?

DISCUSSION How do you play through the Hitman games?

Usually, I'm a semi-completionist (I try to do almost everything in games I play, except mind-numbing chores) so I started the Hitman trilogy by 100% clearing Paris, before even starting another location. And it was completely exhausting. It was just too much to try and get every single feat and achievement, I got sick of that map :) So now I'm going through the locations (just finished the final Hitman 2 map) by going through it once, usually following 1 or more stories. This makes it a lot faster and more varied, but I also have that nagging feeling that I miss alot and should keep replaying the maps :) I even don't want to start with the escalations or elusive targets after I finish all regular content!

These games are just too big!

So I was wondering: how do most people play through the Hitman games?

DISCUSSION This is actually a really good bullseye game.

So I got bored and started doing no guns challenge and no loadout. All I can use are objects I find around the map, crowbars, knifes, bananas, sticks, etc and improvise.

Because of the throwing mechanics, where you can accurately throw and knock people out with basically any object I felt alot like bullseye and it was very fun, especially after watching DD born again season 2. Adds a nice layer of challenge too and using the items around the map as your ammunition. Of course ricocheting is missing along with throwing multiple objects at once, which is fair enough as those would make this an actual bullseye game and this game wasn't really designed with that sort of playstyle in mind ofc, but close enough

Did you know?

Silvio Caruso has a third brother named Tito Caruso as shown in Alpha Footage of "The Meerkat" Bonus Mission that was supposed to take place in Sapienza. (Also featured Orlando and Renzo)

Tito Caruso originally had his route mourning severals graves and praying at the Church down by the Harbour. As seen in [Image 1]

Interesting find, don't you think?

DISCUSSION Out of bounds item in Freelancer Safehouse?

I’m in the safehouse right now and something odd has caught my eye.

When you walk up the wood stairs past the shed to the helicopter, and then take a look to the left behind the shed, you will be able to notice some cathedral-like ruins very close to where you already are. If you keep instinct on while looking around that area, you will soon see an object that is highlighted as usable. It is under some low archway of the ruins, next to a shovel which is not marked as usable. If you use your camera to get a closer look at the slivers of the object behind the trees and rocks, it most resembles a generator. However it seems a little different, a little more like a rusty container perhaps.

It seems like this object is fully out of bounds. But has anyone been able to figure out what it actually is?

CONTRACT Hitman Codename 47

Hi, I want to tell you the story of how I played Hitman Codename 47 and only finished it a few years later.

I was given my first computer as a kid, but it couldn't handle those new games, but it ran Hitman Absolution. I beat it, and as a kid, it made an impression on me, so I decided to play Hitman again. My biggest mistake was trying to try the first Hitman. It was difficult for me as a kid, but I managed to get to the mission with the local Tony Montana (I don't remember the Colombian guy's name). I tried to do it stealthily, but he put pressure on me because I was approaching stealthily with only a pistol, and I was under the illusion that I could only kill him with a minigun. But with a minigun in hand, I couldn't reach him. After many attempts with a pistol, he put pressure on me psychologically, saying that I came to him with such a "pop gun," so I deleted the game and started playing other games. But soon my computer got better, I'd played enough other games, and I wanted to finish off the Colombian. As soon as I learned his lines were scripted and I just had to shoot him, I was disappointed it took me years to do so. Luckily, I finally beat him, and the rest of the game was a blast.

DISCUSSION Freelancer strategy

Thumbnail
reddit.com
3 Upvotes

Recently I made a tier list of my fav freelancer maps and I realized, I am not playing the same freelancer 😭.

Couple things I play only hardcore and I never go for extra objectives, I normally always grab vault money. My favorite ones are timed and the pistol or sniper kill. I can do them all pretty much but I never ever take silent assassin.

What is your strategy for freelancer, I’ll explain what I do on certain maps you guys don’t like.

Mumbai, whip out sniper shoot em, whip out gun shoot em, move on, go knock someone out and take disguise if I need a disguise. Pretty much shoot em in open with as little guards around u and dip.

Marrakesh, honestly super underrated. For the crowd unpack sniper go up snipe your targets. There are easy ways to get military disguises grab em to kill peoples in school. For the consulate idk walk in and shoot him and leave not that deep. Just kill witnesses or switch outfit

Bangkok, shoot them go move always take side exit. Run away from guards and kill guards that are in your way to your next disguise

Colorado, grab your sniper and shoot em. It’s a really open map, grab a guard outfit and go inside if necessary but 75% of the time could be done suit only.

Haven, grab your sniper and shoot em, switch outfits if needed. Really open map free kills
