How fun you consider digital scenarios? Are they as good as physical campaign expansions?

both my gf and I suddenly started getting this message 10 min ago (playing ipad version on mac), and both of us appear to have the newest version, and app store doesn't have show updates for hero realms app

Hey everyone. I'm an app user and want to know your strategies against the alchemist. As a Cleric player I have a 30% WR as both human and half-demon Cleric and it's becoming incredibly frustrating seeing an alchemist and safely assuming its an auto loss.

My normal approach is to actually play the class but because it is locked behind a time-based paywall, I haven't been able to give the class a spin for myself. So please, let me know your approaches to this annoying unattainable class :)

Hi everyone. I just picked up a physical copy of this game and the first five character expansions. I've really enjoyed this game, but I recently had a three player free for all game that ended up being a pretty bad experience due to certain combos getting extremely high life gain. It seems like three player FFA is not a good format and something like Hunter is better, but I was curious if there has ever been some kind of community balancing effort throughout this game's lifespan? Just wondering if there is any kind of ban list or maybe balance suggestions for certain cards depending on the number of players?

I can see a lot of people play the digital version of this game. For any that have played both the physical and digital versions, were any of the cards in the digital version balanced from their physical counterparts?

i play physical realms games a decent amount and i’ve never really liked using the official score cards for tracking health. they work fine, but i always find them a bit fiddly once the table is full of cards and snacks and totals start moving around a lot.

so i made a small ios app for it called Realms Keep.

I backed Star Realms: Rise of Empire at the Legacy Tier and, despite paying in full and completing all fulfilment requirements, never actually received my pledge. After over a year of silence and no proactive communication, I had to chase them myself just to discover the package had apparently been marked as “delivered.”

The company’s response was astonishingly poor.

Rather than taking responsibility for ensuring the reward actually reached the customer, they immediately pushed the burden back onto me and demanded additional payment to resend the items. Even after acknowledging that the courier had delivered the package incorrectly, Wise Wizard Games still refused to absorb the cost or pursue the issue themselves. Their position essentially boiled down to: “Not our problem. Pay us more money.”

What makes this worse is the tone and professionalism of the communication. Instead of trying to resolve the issue reasonably, I was repeatedly lectured about Kickstarter updates, told I should have complained sooner, and informed that consumer protections supposedly did not apply because this was a Kickstarter reward. The entire exchange felt defensive, dismissive, and completely uninterested in customer satisfaction.

Unfortunately, after researching further, my experience appears far from isolated. There are widespread complaints online regarding delayed fulfilment, poor communication, repeated crowdfunding delays, and concerns about Wise Wizard Games launching new crowdfunding campaigns before older ones are fulfilled. There are even petitions demanding refunds from unhappy backers, and multiple discussion threads from frustrated customers describing years-long delays and broken promises.

Several reports also point to layoffs, financial instability, and overdue Kickstarter obligations affecting multiple projects. At this point, I would strongly advise anyone considering backing a Wise Wizard Games crowdfunding campaign to think very carefully before giving them money.

Star Realms may be a good game, but good games do not excuse terrible customer service and a complete unwillingness to take accountability when fulfilment goes wrong.

I recently bought my son the base set for his birthday. I'm interested in getting some expansions, wondering what the best bang for my buck is?

I'm a huge fan of Star Realms and have more than half of what's been released physically and everything that's released digitally. I am a newbie to Hero Realms though, and would love some advice.

What expansions are considered the most fun? Which ones add the most to the game for the least money?

I play both board game and app. When I play on the app it force me to play cards with « Sacrifice X » and card with « Draw X, discard X » at the beginning of the main phase.

The problem is that if I follow the rules, I should be able to play them whenever I want in the main phase. Am I wrong ?

Main phase rule:

Any time during your Main Phase, you may perform any of the following, in any order, as many times as you are able:

◆ Play a card from your hand.

◆ Use the expend, ally, and/or sacrifice abilities of any of your cards in play.

◆ Use Gold to acquire new cards from the Market.

◆ Use Combat to attack an opponent and/or their champions.

I've been playing HR for several years now, but I never really played Arena (only did that in Star Realms). So I might have missed something?

I own all expansions, campaigns and ancestries/classes and beat all campaigns — but I still have no clue what one needs to do to play a druid or get access to this new deck?
