Just Sharing (no feedback) "Salt of my tears"
Quite sloppy arm writing as the notebook was raised, so movement was awkward, but I liked to just free write for a bit after hours of actually following the rules :) Was listening to that Arabic commentator saying goodbye to Cristianno Ronaldo reel. "Salt of my tears" is such a lovely expression -- so sad, so poignant.

Feedback (constructive criticism) Does this look good?
Ive just been writing down some lyrics as cursive practice. Im not sure why but I feel as if my cursive seems a little.. off. I just need a second opinion on this because Im not great at evaluating things about myself.. myself. I would greatly appreciate constructive criticism!

Question (not for transcriptions) Question on Styles
I've started looking at the different methods of handwriting styles listed in the sidebar. I tried some of the Palmer Method (which reminds me of drawing practice in a lot of ways), but the whole arm method seems to only work if I'm in an environment set up exactly for that. (adjustable chair, adjustable desk, large surface to spread out, etc) Does that get better? Is there a reason to do this over wrist writing if I'm not writing long enough to be fatigued?
I am mainly asking so that I don't spend the next few months learning it, just to only be able to write at my one desk. Thanks!

Feedback (constructive criticism) where can i begin with improving my writing?
obvious issue is that it’s small and messy. but i also find that my hand gets sore/stiff very easily when i write, for example, in the passage in the image, my hand started to hurt just halfway through.
if i try to write slowly and form letters correctly, then again my hand will hurt.
i’m a student and my school has organised for me to use a laptop during class and in exams next year, but i’m worried that will actually make my writing even worse??

Question (not for transcriptions) Looking for someone who could write like a Prince
May be an unusual request! I’ve had a little look at the rules but mods please delete if not allowed.
I’m wondering if someone might have the time to help me on a fun little project - I’m writing a book called Crown & Chaos (a dark queer psychological fantasy romance) and I’m aiming for a mixed media insert in some places, including a scene where he scribbles over a very infiltrating dossier
For context: Malachai is “the Prince of the World”, whose birth shattered the veil between Hell & Earth (he is a hybrid human/demon, like a Hell Jesus), which has caused Hell to rise and take over on Earth.
He orders a dossier on a crush he has who is due to attend the manor, and this is where I need someone’s very eloquent-looking hand!
Sadly, my handwriting is absolutely not reading “Prince who has likely been given strict lessons in calligraphy” and I wonder if someone in the handwriting sub may have a digital writing pen and some humour to help?
If so, I can send you a blank copy and would be grateful if you could imitate the blue text seen 😄

When I came to finish it I picked up the wrong pen before catching the mistake. I’m working on my spacing so that it looks Spencerian. I really like where my hand is but it doesn’t look Spencerian to me.

Feedback (constructive criticism) Any suggestions for consistency?
I'm struggling with using an even italic vs straight letter, it changes unless I focus. Getting in the habit of writing with my arm again is harder than I anticipated. Any feedback and suggestions for legibility and consisyemcy would be amazing!

Feedback (constructive criticism) What do you think of my handwriting?
I recently discovered I'm ambidextrous. I've been practicing my handwriting with my left hand for a few days now, and this is how it's going.

Feedback (constructive criticism) How legible is my cursive?
Still having trouble with connecting my TH and R’s. Can’t seem to get used to writing with my arm so I’ve gone back to using my wrist and fingers.

Feedback (constructive criticism) Looking for advice on pens.
Any tips on fonts I can copy for practice or pens that will help me control my writing better? I have never liked my handwriting but I have noticed that certain pens are much easier for me to write with if I’m trying to be neat. But I am trying to get better with using thin tipped pens so my writing isn’t so “scratchy” looking. And overall I know I need to slow down when I write. I’m always in a hurry when writing for some reason.
