I think she’ll be making the deal with the godling soon as I can’t see her staying away from the mess her cells in right now, but also, if she goes, I think it’ll have severe consequences and someone will probably end up dying. According to her godling, Sayeon’s fresh out of essence so if anyone were to die, she can’t do anything about it unless she makes a pact. I could see it going that direction or she’ll just get into deep shit with the corps for getting involved with a rogue aberrant n having nothing to show for it. Shell also probably make ryujin infinitely more suspicious of her if Wolhye greets her familiarly, which I can see her doing as she’s Sara’s youngest daughter. Just a whole mess honest to god n it’s a snowball effect cuz when she makes the pact, the remaining shards of her sanity goes with it 😭

Of course, we all learned that no character in Hand Jumper is simply two-dimensional, so it was just a matter of time before even Iseul got to give us a peek behind that mask.

Wolhye's despair field, at its closest range, reaches further into the psyche of her targets and digs up the most painful memories that had been buried deep at their core, along with the emotions they caused.

In Iseul's case, what arose was the fear that the Aberrant Corps were indeed a corrupted organization, and that he would suffer the same fate as his father by dying a meaningless death. The upbeat front he always put up was therefore a coping mechanism to gaslight himself into believing otherwise, because he couldn't bring himself to face the truth.

I wonder what kind of core values would he build from the ashes anew, were he to finally unmask his own delusions.

AND THE SIGH, damn bro’s serving but like come on, why’re you serving face at this moment rn 🥹? And this moment of the sigh gives so much even though a sigh is actually very little because I don’t think we’ve ever seen Min give a verbal reaction like a sigh so like it makes thing ton more significant for him and the scene. Way to use characterization, Sleepy, another amazing work (this is gonna become my new favorite panel)

With both the regular and fastpass episode released today I think it’s fair to assume sayeon n Wolhye will be meeting soon. Who do we think is going to be there for that conversation? I can’t see Ryujin letting sayeon go into danger alone so I think fs she’ll be there, what if she gets hurt in the crossfire n Sayeon rejects Wolhye before even hearing her out. Or what if Ryujin witnesses their confrontation? Idk there’s just so much that could happen what’s everyone’s thoughts

The execution is good and it's an enjoyable read, but the story feels a bit bland and corny with its "genius" tropes. Because the MC always wins, it lacks high stakes. I wish the time-reversal mechanics forced her to lose things, which would better justify her doing evil. It's a hidden gem in Webtoon slop, but an 8/10 rather than a 10/10 peak.

Now this is not a hate post or something, i have some really good stories and i feel like they are better than Handjumper.

It would be more entertaining if she actually lost stuff, like what did she actually lose within the released chapters?

And slow descent to insanity is a favourite trope of mine, but what is her reason to stoop into insanity? She can already pretry much do anything with retires, her only limitation is her own genius(Definitely her genius) and nothing else,

Like its not realistic in the world of Hand jumper.

And the plots are kinda predictable.

And other than that, yeah the manwhas really good.

Good power system, good consistency across power system, good art style,

(But why does the mc have the wildcard superpower trope.... like its overdone.)

Worldbuilding is... ehh, a 8.5/10. Ive seen worse, but this is pretty good.

Dialogue is a 6/10. Its just too bland.

Power system is.... a 6.5/10

Depth.... a 6/10

Themes... a 5/10

Dynamics..... nonexistant

Foreshadowing.... kinda forced.

Characters.... 7.5/10 has potential but they all just are either benched or killed too quickly.

I feel like just extending eh time that she can go back would be a little disappointing considering how powerful they are supposed to be. I hope it’s something like unique and not just making have the same powers. what are your guesses?

My biggest rare pair right now is Jeron (Juni x Heron)

Juni has solo missions, and so does the other guy from her class who survived with her. They’re both level 7s I think, but level 5 is emphasized as the first big level. Is it at level 5 when the cells are disbanded n the aberrants r left to their own devices? Could this also be why sayeons rushing to get her group to level 5? So that after her team won’t be punished for her rebelling against the corps?
