Hi everyone, so I’ve tried playing GGXXACP on PPSSPP emulator, and i can get all my moves to work no problem, but for some reason the 623 moves just won’t execute? They keep registering as a crouching attack.

I’m sure I’m doing it right because i played tekken and street fighter and my dragon punches and electric wind god fists never miss. Plus, I’ve turned on the input history and i don’t see any problems. Has anyone encountered the same issue? Could it be a problem with the ROM/emulator software?

The journey was kinda anticlimatic in my last day of the grind since I received easier opponents than usual. But alas, I'm here now. With 770 hours in the game (About 40% of that being on Giovanna) I genuinely can't quite grasp the fact that I'm in Vanquisher now.

I really really love Giovanna's combo game, she has such a nice variety of combo routing that are so fun to do and so satisfying to pull off. I've played three characters so far (Leo, Giovanna, and Queen Dizzy) and Giovanna is the only one that truly stuck with me. It feels so fulfilling to hit Vanquisher with her—a character with a playstyle that truly speaks to me.

I've been playing a bit of xrd lately and I play answer in that game, and I got to say he's probably the most fun and most technical character to come out of recent guilty gear. His unique set play combined with his design makes him a very cool character. I also like his personality, hes a busy man and tries to keep his work his top priority, even in fights. His business ninja gimmick also seeps into his game play with his moves being named after doing office work, like one of his moves being called "tax write-off" and "seal of approval". I like answer as a character and hope he makes his return in season five of ggst, he would be a great addition to that games roster.

Recently one friend of mine who plays fighting games often with me agreed to play Strive for a few matches. He mostly played Chipp and tried Zatto, Chipp because he looked cool and Zato because he knew it was hard, and a few days later asked me that since I know that game better than him which characters would fit his playstyle the best.

For reference, we mostly play super smash bros ultimate, and his undisputable main there is Little Mac. His second most played fighting game isDragon Ball Fighterz, where he plays Gogeta Blue, and in Tekken 8 his main is Jin. Whenever we play Persona 4 Arena, he plays Akihiko or Sho Minazuki (Persona-less variant, specifically). It is also worth mentioning that he despises grapplers and dislikes slow characters, both in movement and in animations.

With this information, and after going through the roster explaining him how each character plays, I rounded down (is that the correct expression) his options to Sol, Ky, Baiken, Johnny, Chipp, Sin, and maybe Giovanna and Slayer.

I wanted to have second opinions, and maybe find reasons why certain characters would fit his playstyle more. I know ultimately he should play whoever he likes more, but finding good options given his playstyle suffices for now. Thank you in advance.

I have so far 20 or so hours in strive so I'm still pretty new.Mostly rn I'm playing my and pot.The one character I really want to learn is axl.I love normal based zoners and axl is such a cool one.But every time I play him I get completely destroyed.from what I can tell he seems that have a decently high skill floor.How plausible would you say it is for someone like me to learn him

Did I miss something in the patch notes? I thought characters with DPs got a fuckton of added recovery and could no longer RC it. Yet, I just fought a Leo in Diamond 1 who consistently PRC'd his DP after whiffing on wakeup. I also fought a Sol a while back that did the same, but I thought it was a mistake until I saw in the Dustloop that heavy Volcanic Viper could be RC'd. What gives? Why can they do that? Is it because their DPs are single hits? Is it Daisuke's vision for Sin's DP to be buns?

I started the game like 3 days ago and I wanted to play against people to actually improve at the game and learn how to play but it's a ghost town. Open park has level 200 people who perfect my ass both rounds, and if I'm lucky enough to find a single person in floor 4 they also annihilate me, is there zero way I can actually learn besides fighting bots?

I have cross play on, I'm in europe but I tried changing regions and all of them are like this.

I'm trying to complete the mission where you have to use Sol Badguys invulnerable volcanic viper to do a reversal and I cannot for the life of me get it. I've done 50 volcanic vipers in a row to make sure that I'm not misinputting, so it must be my timing. But I can't tell if I'm too late or too early and there doesn't seem to be ANY guide for this available anywhere.

I've been at this for 3 hours straight now and no matter which frame of animation I try to lock on to, it doesn't seem to help. Any tips? Is there a training tool for this?
