Discussion Weregild thoughts
Who thinks she sings from a perspective of a cat in Weregild? The thought came to me finally that it might be so.

Who thinks she sings from a perspective of a cat in Weregild? The thought came to me finally that it might be so.
now I can't even remember if I wrote this artist down before or if this is a second artist with a similar type of armor.
oh wait I know what's going on. everybody's just making 3D printed armor and then painting it Chrome. so that's why everyone has this now. oh it all looks the same because all armor looks the same and ends up looking the same

seriously though if anybody wants to design a really good 3D printable model, even if it is an existing one and you just slightly remix it and need it for your own project and it actually looks different. cool enough. all 3D printed and ship it to you for free. if it's good enough. but only in Black. you'll have to paint it. unless you want to buy some silver filament.

this has been a message from the Grimes jewelry curation service, tagging all the shiny silvery jewelry that we know Grimes like sometimes, but that her fans seem to actually like a lot more for some reason. to know if we even like it but I think we think we're supposed to like this stuff.
or wait. maybe this is just promoted to me on Instagram because I follow Grimes and mentioned other artwork like from her videos in the comments? which came first checking her egg I don't know. yeah maybe this isn't that impressive but I do have to remind people about it because just because it's on my feed.... and Grimes feed.... doesn't mean that we all see it
we need to start curating and reminding ourselves of all the like. I don't know five artists that actually make up her core aesthetic cuz it seems also mystical and weird sometimes like it's so much.... but then when you break it all down you realize oh, there's just like five actual names that we can remember and credit here and it helps us actually understand the whole style and aesthetic .....and when you learn their story then you get to learn where the inspiration comes from like HR Geiger and then you get to ask AI where the other inspiration comes from that isn't just HR Geiger like Moebous (Giraud), Amano (final fantasy), Charles Burns, Bosch ....
and then you get to learn what it's called.... liquid chrome cyber sigilism neo tribal 3d typography with a dash of demonic frutiger scaero and y2k cyberpunk nostalgia
and then you kind of feel like you beat the game when you find the prompts for all of the art you're seeing on your Instagram feed
but then you see a piece of real jewelry and it's like well. I got to curate this because this is real life and I can actually have this as a physical item
that's why we all need to get into 3D printing and then jewelry making and buy small furnaces and resin printers and wax resin for molds and we need to start making our own jewelry. but first just 3D print. cool stuff to wear to
but you know when it's metal it is totally different. we all really got to start 3D printing our own molds though and you got a 3D printed out first and plastic to test it. but really like making stuff out of metal is really fun. I just ordered some 10 karat gold wire, to make a watch buckle. but I also ordered for much cheaper some raw gold buttons which you can put into a crucible with Borax and use a burning dramatic torch yellow gas. and you can literally pour it into a mold that you can 3D print. that is like a wire mold like you just pour it into a long wire mold and you get yourself a nice wire that you can then pull through a hole that you buy with a pliers and a special cheap metal drill. and you can just make your own gold wire and then you can flatten it with a cheap metal roller and then you can literally just hammer and Chase all your own jewelry out of stuff like that too
and of course silver's a lot cheaper to do that with. but yeah I think we all need to start like getting into jewelry making because it already cost like a few $100 to start

griminology
new life ai style silvery exoskelaton chrome for some reason. procedurally generated exo-skeletonized frames and stuff. gotta be shiney and liquid metal for some reason
do we even like this or do we just think she does so we acquire the taste? is it to look wealthy and fit in with rich people to sell our art in this style?
I saw this guy on Instagram today giving away this simple spiky collar that like I mean I could 3D print an electroplate if I really wanted for super cheap, and shiny Chrome piece of like wearable jewelry, even if it's not even silver, even if it's just aluminum or stainless steel, you can like sell it for so much money. it's so crazy. but like on AliExpress, there's already a bunch of super cheap affordable versions of this stuff which I really like. people just need to like buy some sort of bendable metal jewelry that you can just band yourself into whatever like you know... shapes that you want but it should be modular. I don't know. we need to invent that
we need to make some sort of like fashion jewelry, Lego system of like balls and spikes and collars that you can just you know buy and make into stuff
like I guess really what I want is just silver and gold, but there are other metals that are just as easy to work with, like pewter. although I don't know if you really want to make pewter shoes but you can polish pewter and electro played it make it just chromed up like this. also, zamak or zinc alloy is cheap and easy but pewter is the cheaper more easy to melt metal that you can melt with like a $10 electric crucible into like 3D printed, lost cast pla molds in sand or plaster. and then you just have to polish it all up when you're done. but like honestly it would be really cool to get some like 3D printable wax resin and resin. print some molds for shoes like this and then just like actually get a furnace for a couple hundred dollars and actually get like you know a stack of silver coins for like a thousand bucks and actually pour real silver into a mold for high-heeled shoes like this and maybe have like just have them be like a shell and have them in multiple parts so you can actually put like a comfortable regular shoe material in the in the center
I mean we can start with just brass and copper or aluminum
but seriously I really just want to like make my own metal wearable jewelry but you know. you have to buy a big furnish but it is only a few hundred bucks for a small one. but you do need to spend like 500 bucks or something for a legitimate furnish tag actually get enough molten metal

Which Grimes lyrics are the saddest in your opinion? “Unrequited love has reassembled me” comes to mind for me. What about you guys?

yep that's it
just figure out how to do this or have that artist make her her own thing like commission him to make something kind of like this. honestly this would work too but yeah
just like use that and that's perfect
it would be a perfect way to like show. she's cleaned up her act and is like returning to like a new aesthetic ideal
of course, right now she's in her bubbly comfy phase, but when she's done with that it feels more comfortable should go back into her dark mode and make something like this

Always wanted to hear this song mixed over some old Japanese City Pop. Made this yesterday and it’s one of my favorite mashups I’ve done 🙏

My Interpretation of this Awesome Art Piece!
"You are the beast. A fairy or human? Romance is very long term to them (centuries or millennia even) so why would they ever fall for a mere male mortal who obtain such short lifespans?... The placement of a hand amid the lighting of a moon of pink haze. Pure romance. Dressed as a noble fighter ready for battle but without her sword for once, she seems in a rush, as every knight is when headed to battle. But as she turns to leave, back to 1834, 323 AD, or even to outer space in 2089 to fight for her children…
The beautiful male mortal demands her attention, staring into her eyes as if to say, finally look at me... for once before you go! You are not the beast they call you. Just merely stuck here, half-human between heaven and hell. Stay here for me. Even for just one second of your ancient life.
A barter, she ponders… as her face glows in the illumination of the pink moon. A firm, but gentle grasp of her face forces her gaze to his. Her hand amidst his shoulder implying… you now have me, even for just this moment of time. For this moment I am yours and yours only. An imprint in time and a beautiful collaboration and art piece! The concept of romance returning for all someday. A barter across time and space for all, not just one. That is what wars are usually started and ended for."
What is your interpretation? Post it! I based my it off not the artists themselves, but my view of war. I am of Basque descent. There language was banned and their history altered and deleted from existence by Fascists. I find it ironic that the man in the photo is Italian royalty. What are your thoughts? How can someone obtain so much luck in one life? Are fae and elves real? Why do they barter with humans? What is your interpretations?? Use your imagination!

Let me start by saying that this is by no means irrefutable evidence that HANA had lent a hand to Grimes in producing Miss Anthropocene (hence why it is only a theory). But my suspicion isn't unfounded, and I will thus list all the reasons I believe that may have been the case.
Starting with the strongest one: HANA's first minutes of livestreaming the making of her album Hanadriel on Twitch. At 16:30 minutes (link starts at this timestamp) a viewer suggests to HANA to include a song about "Suicide" as she is brainstorming viewer-requested ideas for the album. HANA becomes uncomfortable and replies that "[she] already [has] a song about suicide" before beginning to stutter "but that's on, that's on, the..." and finally changing the topic of the conversation. This Twitch stream occured on 23 September, 2019, and we know from information like this Grimes' Instagram Story that the demo for You'll Miss Me When I'm Not Around already existed before. You'll Miss Me When I'm Not Around (Further: YMMWINA) is a song about suicide. There isn't a song about suicide inside HANA's discography (except for Cowgirl Bepop, but that is a song made during the making of Hanadriel, so couldn't have existed before then), or else why would she not speak it, so it's very likely HANA is thinking about YMMWINA in that first video snippet. The reason she doesn't disclose is because she may be under a non-disclosure agreement.
Second reason is that HANA has been frequently meeting with and around Grimes up until 2021-2022, beginning from 2015 with the Art Angels tours (she was the opening act). When Grimes began making Miss Anthropocene (further: Miss A) (starting in 2017), she was in regular contact with HANA, example, example, example. She enlisted HANA to sing on We Appreciate Power after Grimes' feud with Poppy. It isn't unfounded to say the collaboration on Miss A could extend beyond being a feature on We Appreciate Power and its music video/visualizer.
Third and final reason for my suspicion is the presence of HANA in the YouTube and Twitch streams, streamed on February 21, 2020 - celebrating the release of Miss Anthropocene and answering fan questions. At one point in the livestream, the conversation leads to HANA beginning to sing the lyrics of YMMWINA: "If you don't bleed then you don't die..." before Grimes interrupts her with "Stop singing my song!". They cheer and laugh, but to me that is another suspicious sign that HANA co-produced that song and maybe more than that.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments whether I'm up to something or nothing at all. And as a disclaimer, even if this theory is true, that doesņ't mean Grimes isn't the author of her discography or Miss A, or anything. It is frequent practice in the music industry to have a team of producers and songwriters behind you. Grimes collaborated with Illangelo to make the songs for Book 1, now she's collaborating with VADAKIN in the making of PSYOPERA. This isn't a case of wrongdoing, it is simply me noticing connections and wanting them to share. Thank you for your attention.
