Hey guys, I found these 2 in a single carrier on the streets in brooklyn last year,I had a friend foster them for a almost a year but unfortunately was not able to find a home for them and I'll be taking them back on Friday 07/24, but unable to keep them long term.

I know a lot of people have asked whether we offer parking. After two years of trying, I was finally able to work something out with the MPG valet parking garage at 21 India Street.

The idea would be for customers who spend $150 to receive a free parking voucher. Is this something people would actually use?

My concern is that if someone is already driving, they may choose to shop at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Wegmans, or Costco instead.

We are currently working on a project to reduce the prices of our grass-fed and local beef by 30% and our conventional beef by 20%, which we plan to roll out sometime in August or September. Once that happens, I believe our meat prices will be very competitive.

Beyond that, I understand that it can be difficult for us to compete with the prices offered by larger retailers. I just wanted to get a sense of whether people would actually use this parking program before we officially roll it out.

Long shot, but I have a quilt that my recently deceased grandmother made for me 10+ years ago, I love it and I do use it as a top blanket for my bed, it has come undone in places and some of the fabric is starting to rip.

Have been going to Susan's Laundromat on Driggs and Diamond but after a year of washing in cold water in broken down machine for constantly increasing prices, the final nail in the coffin was when they silently drained $40 off our laundry card. Turns out this is something that happens constantly and you'll only be able to do something about it if you happen to catch it yourself as they are obviously keeping it quiet. Theres a whole wall in there of peoples cards with notes saying how much is missing, so that the owners can go through the system and check and refund them in cash. I can only imagine how much money they have stolen off customers (including us) who didn't notice their card being drained.

Looking at other laundromats in the area, all seem to have bad reviews too. Why is it so hard to find a good laundromat with hot water?

Any kind of food is fine as long as there's an outdoor space! Ideally within walking distance of the Greenpoint Avenue G stop. TIA:)

Has anyone lived at or heard about 170 Freeman? I’ve heard there may have been some issues even though it’s a newer building. Can anyone who has lived there or knows about it share their experience?

I’m looking to find 3–4 people in Greenpoint (or nearby North Brooklyn) who already know how to play American Mahjong and would be interested in getting together regularly.

Ideally we’d meet every week or two at a coffee shop, brewery, or someone’s apartment for a relaxed game. I’m hoping to find people who already know the rules and have a current NMJL card so we can jump right into playing.

i found this baby bird this morning who appears to have fallen out of its nest, by warsaw/uro cafe. it was on the street so i put it under a tree using a piece of paper, i couldn’t locate where its nest was. does anyone know if there is a wildlife rehabilitation center or something that could be contacted about this? i feel bad leaving it behind especially with the storms

Where: The backyard of Duke's Liquor Box, 114 Franklin St, Brooklyn, NY 11222 (during the Greenpoint Williamsburg CSA pickup)

Who: Everyone is welcome—whether you're a CSA member or just curious about good bread.

We'll have samples of our naturally fermented sourdough loaves, French baguettes, focaccia, and ciabatta rolls, all baked fresh that morning. Everything is free to taste, and we'll also have bread available for purchase if you'd like to take a loaf home.

I'm originally from France, and I started Crescent Bakes to bring the kind of bread I grew up eating to New York. This is our very first tasting in Greenpoint/Williamsburg, and we're excited to introduce ourselves to the neighborhood.
