Autocatcher that reconnects by pushing the in game button only

Which autocatchers will reconnect without pushing the button on the autocatcher? I’m fine with pushing the in game pokeball icon, but I don’t want to have to get the autocatcher out of my bag to reconnect after 60 minutes. It will be connected to an iPhone.

My kid has a Go Plus +, which I like, but I’m not looking to get another one because I don’t like the vibrations.

I had a DuoMon 3 that reconnected well, but the battery stopped holding a charge after 6 months.

I have a Brook Watchic lite, and this is the one that I have to get the autocatcher out of my bag to reconnect.

I appreciate your help!

Accidentally left my Duocom 3 Pro in my jeans when I washed them, and it won’t connect anymore - but it shows a solid red light when charging. Any advice?

Best auto catcher for my situation ? (3 accounts)

Hello, I currently own 4 Pokémon GO accounts: my main and 3 alts that I use to farm shinies for my main.

I play in split screen on two phones, 2 accounts per phone: my main and my second account on the first phone, my third and fourth accounts on the second phone.

I have a Pokémon GO Plus + that I only use on my main account, and I'd like to buy an auto catcher for the other three.

I think the Catchmon X is the best option out there, right? I know it supports up to 4 accounts, but does it work with two accounts on the same phone? Concretely, I need one account covered on my first phone and two accounts on my second phone, both running as cloned instances in split screen.

P.S. I won't use an unofficial auto catcher on my main account, so I'm looking for something that works on 3 accounts, not 4.

Issue Report DuoMon 3 - 1P connects fine but 2P won’t connect to my second iPhone

I just got a DuoMon 3 and I’m trying to use it with two iPhones. The first iPhone connects to 1P without any issues and stays connected while I’m trying to pair the second iPhone to 2P.

When I press the 2P button, the LEDs flash green and Pokémon GO starts trying to connect, but after a while it fails. If I press the 2P button a few times while it’s trying to connect, the DuoMon just says “Not connected.”

I’ve restarted both phones, reinstalled Pokémon GO on the second phone, removed the accessory from Pokémon GO, and turned Bluetooth off and back on. I also noticed I don’t have the option to “Forget This Device” in the iPhone Bluetooth settings since it doesn’t show up as a normal Bluetooth device.

Is it normal to have the first phone connected while pairing the second, or should I disconnect it first? Has anyone else run into this, or does it sound like the 2P side of the DuoMon might be defective?

My go plus went through the wash. What do I buy now?

My Pokemon Go Plus Plus went through the wash and I have it in rice now but last time this happened (two years ago) I had to buy a new one. Any alternatives since they are 4x the price now?

Edit: thank you all for your responses! Based on what you guys have said I am going to keep drying my go plus and if it doesn’t work I will ask my local PoGo guy who repairs them and mods them to see if he can fix it or do it myself if I can get a cheap kit. If all doesn’t work I will move on to one of the 3rd party devices yall recommend.

Issue Report Someone please help me with the go plus plus

I've been having constant issues with my Pokémon GO Plus+ and I'm completely out of ideas.

Most of the time it won't pair at all. It'll either say "Device not found", refuse to connect, or just won't pair even after removing it from Pokémon GO and Bluetooth ("No longer configured", etc.).

Even when it's completely unpaired from my phone, getting it to show up again can take hours. I end up repeatedly pressing the button over and over, hoping it eventually appears in Bluetooth or Pokémon GO.

Some other weird behaviour:
When it's unplugged, the LEDs usually don't light up at all. The only time they seem to work is during the rare occasions I actually get it connected.
If I do a hard reset, the lights and vibration work normally, so they clearly aren't completely dead.
When it's plugged in, the main light stays solid blue constantly. If I hold the main button, the blue light turns off, then comes back as soon as I release it.

I've already tried pretty much everything I can think of:
Removing it from Pokémon GO.
Forgetting it in Bluetooth.
Re-pairing it.
Deleting and reinstalling Pokémon GO.
Restarting my phone.
Closing and reopening the game.
Factory/hard resetting the Plus+ multiple times.
Even replacing the battery.

The only partial workaround I've found is to spam hard reset until I somehow get it paired again. Then I repeatedly close Pokémon GO while mashing all three buttons on the Plus+ until it eventually connects and works normally.

The problem is that as soon as I close the game, it breaks again, and I have to repeat the whole process from scratch.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Is this likely a hardware fault, firmware issue, or is there something else I haven't tried?

Update: For some reason opening the go plus plus and pressing the buttons whilst it’s opened makes it connect???? This makes zero sense wtf

Issue Report Duomon 3 blinking red while charging

I’ve had duomon 3 for a few months now, no water damage and no falls that I know of. Today out of nowhere it stopped turning on and when I went to charge it for a solid 2 hours it was still blinking red. When it’s turned on while charging it works but as soon as it’s off the charger it stops working.

I’ve tried unpairing and re pairing it. Charging it while it’s on and off. Any other ideas or is the battery inside dead? I haven’t even noticed the battery life dropping off or anything. Any help is appreciated <3

Duomon 2022 “Sound: Off” Not Working

I recently purchased a Duomon 2022. Everything works fine except for the connect/disconnect sounds and the repeating connection lost sounds.

I followed the guide and turned sound off for both players on the Duomon. I’ve tried connecting to both players. If I check the setting, it says that sound is off yet I still get the connection lost sounds.

Anyone deal with this before? Hoping there’s a quick fix. The mobile app for settings doesn’t work with Duomon 2022.

Which is better auto catcher

I’m looking into getting a new Pokémon go auto catcher

I have the Pokémon GO plus one, but for some reason it’s very slow. It starts so slowly picking up Pokemon if I am standing still next to a poke stop it won’t spin the poker. Stop. It will grab whatever Pokémon’s around even though they’re invisible even when it’s finished I look and it hasn’t not spun the pokestop

Just wondering, is there any other auto catcher out the faster?

Is this good brook pocket auto catch - light if anyone used it is it faster and collect more from pokestop etc

Pokemon Go Plus+ Not Working

My Pokémon GO Plus+ randomly stopped working today and I’m at a loss.

I’m on iPhone running Pokémon GO version 0.417.2-A-64. I hadn’t used my Plus+ for about a year, but I’ve been using it regularly for the past week with no issues. Then today it suddenly started giving me “Failed to connect to device” every single time.

I’ve already tried pretty much every troubleshooting step from the official pairing guide, including:
- Forgetting and repairing the device
- Restarting the game
- Restarting my iPhone
- Deleting and redownloading app
- Rebooting/resetting the Plus+
- Making sure it’s charged
- Removing it from Bluetooth and reconnecting
- Following all the official troubleshooting instructions

Nothing has worked. The game still immediately says “Failed to connect to device.”

Has anyone else on iOS with Version 0.417.2-A-64 run into this? Did you find a fix, or is this possibly an issue with the latest update? I saw some older posts where updates caused connection problems for Bluetooth accessories, so I’m wondering if this is happening again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I’m completely out of ideas.

Best device for playing PoGo for returning player?

Hi guys, oldhead here getting back into the game just in time for GO Fest! I've been grinding recently but I'm running into issues with my phone overheating and fps tanking heavily, especially while connected to a portable charger. It's about time for a new phone anyway but I'm wondering if anyone has other device recommendations for playing in the big 26. I've seen people use a tablet and I actually have multiple accounts that I'd like to play at the same time so I'm thinking maybe a new phone that will stay cool and a tablet for the alt account? Can I just run a second device from the hotspot on my phone? Let me know what you all do and what devices you might recommend and help a unc out, cheers!

What to do when home doesnt recognize your OT from GO as your own?

After the update, everytime I send pokemon to home it doesnt let me mark my new ES-LA pokémon as my own. It's a glitched state where you can press the "Mark as my OT" cap icon but it will never turn on and stay. What can I do?

How do I finish the research “catching some Z’s” fast/early?

I saw a poke daxi video saying that you can complete it in 4 days and I will only have my go plus plus for 10 more days before I return it. I know it has something to do with going on your phone and setting the time to the next day or something but I can’t get it to work.

Issue Report Duomon 3 on iPhone

Post image
2 Upvotes

I think I may be stupid. I connected the duomon to Pokémon go first and it works great however I can’t pair the duomon to the megacom app. The app stays on the pairing screen and every time I press a button on the device the lady or man just reads out stats to me instead of pairing. Tried long-presses as well as both at the same time. Not sure what I’m missing :/
