Snap Caps for dry firing

Bought some Glock brand 9mm snap caps. Orange and some kind of thermoplastics of sorts. Aside from basic drills, can they be used for dry firing practice?

To mill or not to mill?

This is my G19 Gen 3 with scalloped ā€œfish gillā€ slide. First pistol I ever bought once I came of age many years ago, so it has a bit of sentimental value.

It had the RTF2 frame stock, but I swapped a Grit Grips frame in since RTF2 is a bit rough on skin and clothes for EDC. It also has Trijicon night sights, but it’s been a very long time so those are now dead.

I was considering Trijicon HD sights, but I’m hearing those are very sharp for concealed carry so I thought I had decided on notch cut Ameriglo Bold sights.

A friend of mine is a major believer in red dots and insists I should get my slide milled so I can mount an optic. I am hesitant to mill the slide because I understand it’s a ā€œrareā€ slide due to the scallops, and because of my aforementioned emotional attachment to it.

In your opinion, am I being unreasonable? Should I start looking into milling the slide or would you agree with my stance? I honestly don’t know a ton about it because I wasn’t even considering it up until this point.

Thoughts on Medical Wrap 4 grips?

Post image

Ive used medical wrap, hogue grips, talon grips and baseball tape and ive gotta say hands down for me personally i like the medical wrap best. Reason being its easy to come off if you want it off, works really good for clamy hands and also u gotta self tourniquet if shit gets realšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ just wondering what others have used for grips.

Had a hard time finding a holster mainly for this light. Ordered the Certum Lux 4 for the Glock 19 gen 6 with the multi light option. Used the large gray spacers and the thinnest black spacers. Screws are not long enough to add the camming bar. But the gun and light fits perfectly and locks right in. Comfort beyond belief. I am officially a tenicor believer. UPDATE: Screws are long enough to add camming bar. Just ordered another tenicor holster for my 43X

Even with the OEM 15 round 43x mags I still prefer the 19 as my EDC!
