Theyre on tiktok and up to date with TikTok, last year they wanted labubus, Harry Potter merch, Korean skincare and some makeup like essence and mac. This made them so happy and made them feel included.

What are some things I could bring them this year? Things young girls like, or what some cute things that are trending rn that they would die for?

My boyfriends birthday is coming up soon. I have a couple ideas of what to get him. On christmas he got really excited about a bright flashlight that was a prize in the dice game. Sadly we didnt win it so I want to get him one now. Also he thinks the reactions people have to smelling salts are hilarious. I dont think hes ever used them and I know he would love to see me and our friends try them. Just those two things dont feel like a complete present.

Are there more overstimulating gifts that would complete it? Or should I get something a little more normal to balance them out?

I really want his face to light up when he opens it. Last year, I got him a nice filet knife and a cleaver because he loves to cook. His immediate reaction wasnt as excited as Id hoped. Although he tells me they were great gifts all the time and uses them every time he cooks.

One reason this idea came to mind is because of all the recent news about large power outages during heatwaves in different parts of the U.S. It made me realize how much my mom worries whenever the power goes out. She loves stocking the freezer and fridge, so even a few hours without electricity stresses her out because she's afraid all that food will spoil.

The other reason is that they're both really into RV camping. They usually bring a bunch of small electronics, a portable fridge, lights, coffee gear, etc., and I figured a portable power station could make those trips a lot easier too.
