Game What happens when you steal a boss’s skill and build your entire run around it?
Hey everyone!
We’re a small indie team making MAKEN, a 3D action roguelite.
The basic idea is simple: fight through enemy hordes**, steal skills, evolve your weapons,** and see how powerful your build can become before the next boss takes you down.
These seven screenshots show different parts of the actual game:
- - Stealing skills from enemies and bosses
- - Evolving weapons during a run
- - Random builds and different weapon paths
- - Fast movement, dodging, and combo-based combat
- - Summon and pet growth
- - Fighting through massive enemy hordes
- - Boss battles
You think you’re just choosing your next skill, but a few choices later, your entire build can turn into something completely different. We want every run to have a few surprises.
MAKEN is planned to enter Steam Early Access this weekend. We’d love to hear some honest feedback before launch:
- - Which feature catches your attention first?
- - Which screenshot makes you want to see more?
- - Is there anything about the gameplay that is unclear?
Thanks for taking a look!
