Discussion How dose the lore even work.
(MY IDEA 100% BUT I USED AI TO REFINE IT)
I’ve been thinking about the literal computer science and hardware physics of Gameoverse, and the entire premise completely falls apart under real-world logic. Here is the breakdown of why Kit’s universe is technically impossible.1. The Offline / Local Hardware ParadoxData is just an electrical charge moving through copper and silicon. If a game is a local, offline game not connected to Wi-Fi, it is completely air-gapped.How does Kit transfer those electrical charges through the air into a local device? If she enters an offline console, she would be physically trapped in that specific local storage drive forever.Realistically, for this universe to work, every single game world would have to be hooked up to one massive, global data center coveted entirely to online-only games.2. The Account and Save File Contradiction (The Titanfall Problem)The show says that if a "Hero" wins the game, the entire world file gets permanently deleted. That makes zero sense for modern gaming.Take a game like Titanfall. It has a single-player story mode and a separate multiplayer mode. The story mode progress is tied strictly to that specific player's account save file.If a player beats the campaign on their account, it shouldn't wipe the master server directory. Why would one single-player victory shut down the global multiplayer servers for millions of other people?3. The Billions of Copies ProblemWhen data gets deleted after a win, it only wipes that specific instance. What about the billions of other devices out there? There should be billions of identical Kits running simultaneously on millions of hard drives globally. If Kit hops "out" of a game, she is only leaving one single player's console. The other billions of copies of her code on other hard drives would be completely unaffected and totally unaware.4. The 2D vs. 3D Architectural CrashKit carries way more data than retro or low-spec devices can physically handle. What if she enters a 2D, black-and-white world like an old Mario or Game Boy game? The old hardware literally doesn't possess the instruction sets or RAM to read her 3D coordinates or complex file structure. She wouldn't "physically" enter. Her data would instantly be read as a corrupt artifact or an internal glitch, triggering an immediate out-of-memory crash or an automatic data reset that deletes her code permanently.
