Just got the Tab S11. My second Samsung tablet since owning a Tab 2. Gotta say, Samsung tablets have come a long way.

Another device to complete my ecosystem.

Besides Samsung notes, is there any other app that does not require regular (or periodic) internet connections to work?

Thanks!

Question Upgrading to Tab S10FE from Tab S6

I am thinking of not opening the box and just returning it to amazon since I am an idiot and didn't do proper research. I LOVE my tab S6. It is an awesome tablet and is still going strong but my tab SM-T520 I use for work is just about to completely die. I only use it to watch stored videos during lunch. I was thinking the S10 FE had to be better than my S6 so I bought it for $388 after several weeks of price watching. I discovered that the S10 FE screen is LCD and a lower resolution compared to the S6. Will the screen quality be very noticeable? I use my S6 for videos and web browsing and NES/SNES emulation. I am thinking of returning it and get the S10+ Plus instead but that is over double the price.

Edit: I am returning it and I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ Plus 12.4” 256GB for $749.00 ($810.79 including tax). Damn that is a lot but the price was at it's second lowest ever according to camel.

Planning to get a Galaxy Tab S10+ for school

I'm planning to get a galaxy tabs s10+ for school. Ideally, when should I buy it? I've seen a lot of comments saying there would be big sale on the older series when the S12 series releases.

Question Notetaking with screenguard

I am planning to purchase a tab s10+ or s11 as I am planning to step into digital notetaking.

1) Does applying a screen protector affect the performance of writing/drawing.

2) I can currently find glossy and matte screen protectors in the market. Does the matte one wear off the nib of the stylus. Is it easy/inexpensive to find nibs for these models.

3) Does the writing feel different on the s11 vs the s10+. I can't check in a store physically as they are not keeping them on display because children keep breaking them.

4) Is there any notetaking software that gives Geometry tools, graphs and adding tables.

5) I heard Samsung notes is a very good app. Does it have infinite canvas feature or export to pdf.

6) Is there any difference in how the tip feels against the screen between the s10+ stylus and the s11. Which one has the potential to last for longer as I try to be very careful with my devices and aim to use them for a period of 4-5years.

I tried looking power and volume down and it doesnt work. It has happend sooo many times before and I have to ticker around for a few hours just to get it to boot up. Its incredibly annoying that the minute it reaches 0% its like performing CPR.

Any fixes would be greately appericated. Idk how to brute force it to stop.

Discussion Galaxy Tab prices are all over the place

For example S11 Ultra would be 1200 CAD one day then go to 1800 CAD then come back to 1300 CAD🤣.

I feel like when Samsung launches something like S25U (i own) it's priced higher then apple pro max don't know why. Then the price would drop hard within a couple of months 🤣 unlike where apple stays strong on price. It's feels like double edge sword sometimes

Which adapter for Galaxy Tab S10 Lite?

I am either utterly stupid or they have done a real good job of hiding this detail but I can only see that the tab has a "Super Fast Charging" compatible battery but it isn't mentioned if it's the 25W or 45W or which one is the max cap. Help please. Thanks :)

Galaxy Tab nibs

I've had my Galaxy S6 tablet for quite a few years now; the nib began to wear down over time. So I bought some cheap replacement nibs off of Amazon which worked super well until they went to far in or smth to that effect resulting in a continuous drawing of the pen even when it wasn't directly touching the screen. It stops if I slightly remove the nib and twirl it a little, but often comes back after a while.

This made me try and find some official Samsung replacement nibs but from what I've heard Samsung doesn't source spare parts for you and would rather you buy a completely brand new one.

I'd like to know if the above is right and if so, does anyone have any recommendations for replacement unofficial nibs or a place I can buy official nibs other than from Samsung direct?

Another thought I had was that it might not be the nibs fault but rather my pen's. I'd like to know what anyone thinks about this.

Thank you.

Apps I bought a TAB s9 FE+ in 2024 and have been experiencing the following problem for a month now.

I've never had any problems like these that I'm experiencing now. I've already restarted the tablet, cleared the cache and data, reset the entire device, and updated both the software and the apps.

At home I have 2G and 5G Wi-Fi, and it always connects fine, but now it only finds the 2G network, and the 5G network only appears if I share my phone's Wi-Fi with the tablet. The device is no longer under warranty; it has a case and screen protector. I only use it at home; I've never hit or dropped it.What happens is, I'm on YouTube watching a video, and suddenly I click on another video, and YouTube starts taking a long time to load the items on the home pages and on the video page. And the video starts freezing constantly and the quality drops to 144p.I've already tried maximum quality, but it won't load.Is anyone else experiencing this? What's the problem? Just a reminder that I don't have the money to send it for repairs.

Samsung Tab e-reader Concept

Post image

I know Samsung likes making their big expensive tablets and foldables, but it would be nice to have a Kindle Scribe type of device from Samsung. I really enjoy using Samsung Notes and I read e-books. My issue with most of the tabs available now is the screen ratio and size. The Kindle Scribe is a good size and ratio, I would even say the iPad Mini is nice in terms of form. When it comes to the screen, they can do something like TCL NXTPaper so it looks like e-ink with the zippiness of LCD screens with some sort of nano coating or matte screen protector out of the box and an S pen with a tip that's compatible with that. I know this is niche so it couldn't be too expensive. It wouldn't need the best speakers or bleeding edge specs, just be great at note taking and reading. Samsung Notes is a great app and they should have at least 1 tablet that makes this app shine while also not being $1,000 or more. Am I the only one that wants a glorified notebook and e-reader?
