today I set up my new Amazfit BIP 6 with Gadgebridge. I'm wondering if there is an issue with Telegram notifications?

I tried to send a SMS and the notification arrived on Amazfit. Also when I called there was a notification. But I dont get it working to get Telegream notifications on Amazfit.

Any hint?

since my switch to Gadgetbridge I ditched Garmin Connect.
Since my watch hasn't been connected to Garmin Connect, it can take up to 10 minutes to get a GPS fix when starting an activity.
I did a factory reset on the watch.
I tried all options in the GPS settings.

Is there a workaround for this behavior? Do I still need to connect my watch to Garmin Connect from time to time?

Is there a list or something similar on what watches can still run without trusleep?

I only ever see people saying "newer" watches dont work without it, but there is never a reference point. Would be great if someone could give me some reference

I want to install a watchface for my Amazfit Bip 6 from https://amazfitwatchfaces.com/ , the download is a zip file and inside are different .json and .png files, no .bin file.

Can I flash the .zip with the FW installer?

Iam scared that I will brick my Bip 6

So the wiki/websites says it has full compatibility, but when i connect them i am not able to do anything besides see the batery %. And im not even sure if im doing correctly because i have to connect to BT to use them! Just having them connected on Gadgetbridge doesnt work at all even if it says connected.

I got the amazfit bip 6 with gadgetbridge.

For some nights the sleep duration of the night differs from watch to the app.
Mostly the wake and light sleep time is in the app slightly higher than on the watch.
No naps, only night.
In the app, the sleep interval is set to evening 6 pm.

Did you experience the same? Does gadgetbridge has an own algorithm for sleep tracking? I think no, right?

I received my amazfit wearable after ditching my fitbit because I dont wanna share more data with Big G.

Setup with Gadgetbridge was quiet easy and done in 15 mins (had to restart phone to establish a connection).

Everything works out fine til now. Even importing .gpx tracks and navigating is working so flawlessly.

I just wanna share my happiness that there are so great apps and developers out there.

How can I support the project? I cant code so I wanna donate some money.

Having hunted around for a procedure to move my Xiaomi band 10 over to a new device (after my old phone bloated its battery and pushed out the screen), I couldn't find a really clear guide on transferring everything to a new phone.

Turns out its actually straightforward, at least for the Xiaomi 10 and recent Gadgetbridge versions.

Make sure you have the same version of gadgetbridge on both old and new devices (I used 0.92.0) on both devices).

Pick up your old device and open Gadgetbridge

• Tap the three bars (top left) to open the menu
• Open Data Management
• Export zip
• Upload zip file (has a name like gadgetrbidge_20260707160001.zip) to Google Drive (or some other shared storage).
• Turn off bluetooth on your old device

Pick up your new phone

• Download the gadgetbridge_202607070160001.zip file from Google Drive
• Start Gadgetbridge - if needed, allow all the permissions and get to the main screen
• Tap the three bars and open Data Management
• WARNING : the next step will COMPLETELY replace your gadgetbridge settings and data with the new file
• Import the gadgetbridge zip file you just downloaded.

Gadgetbridge will restart. Now - your new phone will not connect to the band because it is not paired, but the data and devices should be present.

Pick up the Xiaomi 10 band

• Open Settings
• Choose System
• Choose Pair New Phone

Your band will tell you to open the Miband fitness app. Instead, open the bluetooth settings on your new phone. Choose pair device, select the Xiaomi 10 band and follow the instructions on both devices.

Check Gadgetbridge - at this point, for me at least, everything was connected and good to go. All data moved over,

I'm currently struggling to transfer over my old huawei health data, but that's a separate issue. The one primary thing that I've been tracking over time with it, however, is my weight fluctuations. I've been able to capture some of that using Health Sync to transfer into Health Connect which now Gadgetbridge can sync from. However, I can't find anywhere inside of Gadgetbridge that actually shows and/or tracks those weight measurements. Ideally there would be a graph and a manual way to add measurements so it could track like all the other health data. Is this something intended to be added?

Supposedly the band 7 can upload watch faces with gadgetbridge..or can it? I have one on older firmware because the zepp app is basically malware. Every time I try to upload a face it disconnects. Even when I compiled it to a zpk, the issue remains. Sounds like there is no support but documentation is super sparse and signing up with codeberg will be an experience. Anyone have better luck?

But that's through the horrible app I had to stick on an old phone. Resource usage and info sending of zepp is nightmare fuel.

But step is not equal.

Heart rate is not pairing.

I had a chance to buy a Huawei Watch 1 a while back and installed AsteroidOS on it. After that, I paired via the GadgetBridge app but since then, I get either no connection at all or a constant connect and disconnect spam.

How can I debug this properly to figure out where the culprit lies? My gut feeling tells me this is from the Android side itself (well, GrapheneOS specifically) so I want to see if I can find any disconnect reason there and use that to file a proper bug report.

I have this problem where the app is syncing my steps but sometimes it fails to sync my exercises. At times it works perfectly, then other times no dice. It also does the same thing with my heart rate during sleep. Is there a solution to this? I have attached screenshots to show my problem.

Hello all, I hope you will be able to help me.

So I bought a Blaupunkt SmartRing which I knew would not be the best gadget in the world. In reality it is a seriously crappy product, especially because you cannot export any data at all. That is what they call 'data security'. 🙄

In the 1,5 years I have it, there has not been any product development that makes me hopeful they will solve this (although there is actually a right in the EU to be able to export your data and use it as you please). No comment on the customer service.

So I tried connecting it with Gadgetbridge but was not very successful.

Do you have any tipps for me? It would be a shame to lose all the data.

I'm considering buying a bip 6 or bip max (assuming it will be supported). Is it possible to get HRV during the day on these devices with gadgetbridge? If not, what device would you recommend?

I'm looking to use it for running, assessing stress levels during the day and maybe some sleep tracking.

Just got an Amazfit Helio Strap. I have to connect it to the Zepp app at least once before connecting it to Gadgetbridge. Did that and Gadgetbridge works well.

However, I did get a notification to upgrade the firmware (in the Zepp app). Do you guys know if this will make it more accurate or add new features or anything like it? Because I ignored it, thinking it could prevent me from connecting it to Gadget ridge.

I currently own a Huawei GT6 that I have linked to GadgetBridge. And it has never been linked to Huawei Health, or any other app. For the most part, it works great. But I can't get the navigation to work. I went into GadgetBridge's settings > External Integrations > Navigation apps and turned on all the relevant sliders.

And yet, whether I use Google Maps or OsmAnd~ (installed from F-Droid), nothing ever shows up on the watch when I start a route on my phone. Am I doing something wrong ? Should I install some app directly on the watch through GadgetBridge ? If so, what app is it, and where do I find it ?

Bonus question : Is there a way to display a real time map directly on the watch ?
