What are these little mushrooms

Post image

I have these mushrooms which occasionally pop up in my spider plants. They’re tiny and I was wondering what type of mushrooms these are and whether they are toxic (not planning to eat them, I have pets).

I have ripped them out and left them to decompose back into the earth.

Thank you!

These are photos of the same spot. When you step on it (with shoes) it almost feels sponge like? We’re near Chicago.

Found this cool growth on the glass of my paladarium- does anyone know what it might be? In one day it's totally changed shape which is awesome - these two pics were taken one day apart.

Slime mold on ponytail palm but which one?

Post image

Hey everyone! I just repotted my PP and noticed quite heavy overgrowth on top of some yellow slime mold (I think it's a slime mold). It looks interesting and I've never seen one like this (I usually get Ascomycetes in the plants). The internet didn't help, so maybe one of the wise fungi Reddit people knows the species, or at least genus?

Green Elfcup Fungi

I was making a den in the woods with my son when I saw a slight bluish tinge in the outside of a fallen Hornbeam branch. I knew this branch would contain Green Elfcup hyphae, but I didn’t know that after I snapped it open, it would be this rich in colour.

Absolutely stunning.

(Photos of fruiting bodies are from others I’ve found in this woodland).

Just out of curiosity. Started growing here at the base of a very large oak tree. The circumference is a little bigger than a basketball.

It is roughly the diameter of a dime, for scale. There was nothing else like it around. It rained heavily last night.

Does anyone know what these are?

My grandma has a little standalone flower bed and this morning when I was sitting outside I noticed these clusters of mushrooms growing. I’m not very knowledgeable in things like this and wanted to know if anyone knew what type of mushroom or why they were growing with the flowers? It has been very hot and rainy this year where I live (Midwest) and didn’t know if that had anything to do with them showing up. (Please ignore the dying flowers, this is fresh dirt that nothing has been grown in and plants we’ve never tried growing before. The heat hasn’t helped that.) thanks! (Reposted because I didn’t as pictures to the first post and this is my first ever Reddit post I didn’t know how to edit it.)

So I routinely apply elemental sulfur to my rose bush and then one day I move the mulch and see these little guys. They are the same color as the sulfur pellets. I can’t really find any info on google.

What is this funky surprise fungus in my terrarium?

Post image

I made a terrarium out of materials from my local area (pacific northwest) and everything has been fine, until suddenly this white fungus exploded out of nowhere. It seems to have come from one of the pieces of driftwood I used. I froze and baked them, but I guess some spores survived.

Does anyone know what kind of fungus this is? It's kinda cool, and the tiny mushrooms it's producing in the corner are cute, but the feathery white mycelium(?) on the wood is getting a little out of hand. I'm afraid of it taking over the whole thing and hurting the other plants.

I'm not used to posting on reddit so I hope I'm doing it right. Thank you for your help!
