Aya and I recently went for a trip to the Izu Peninsula, Shizuoka Prefecture. The weather was sadly not brilliant, but the landscapes were incredible. We visited the Teddy Bear Museum, and stopped off for some tea in their cafe.

Photos taken on Fujichrome Provia 100F 35mm slide film using a Minolta SRT-101 and a Minolta Rokkor 58mm prime lens. Unlike normal negative film, this type of film creates a transparent sheet with the same colours as real life, making it much easier to scan, and you can also load it into a projector and view your photos on the wall! However, it’s sadly much more expensive and totally unforgiving to use. I had fun trying it out for fumographic purposes!

My roommate found a short video channel on Insta, full of fumo scenes. Cutesy little fanon stories, and I would love them with all of my heart...but all of them are made with generative technology.

I don't know if I should cry or rage. Fumos are pure, and using them for freshwater ruining purposes feels unfair. What do you think?

Pardon the blurriness of my camera, my phone stabilizers are broken. Pardon also my cluttered desk. I literally just finished the fumo when I took the pictures and didn't clean my desk at all. It was my third attempt making a fumo overall, and my first attempts at making clothing and at making a fumo with the proper type of fabric. Overall, I'm happy with it. I used the figurine as a main reference.
