We bought this house 2 years ago, so this is the third fruiting season we've had this tree, and this is the most it's produced yet. We were told by the previous owner that it's Golden Delicious. I'm in Zone 10A if that affects the harvesting window in any way.

Year one, I tried one or two of them in the fall and it still seemed chalky and immature. Year two with that in mind I decided to wait until they turned more yellow, but most of what we had ended up just falling off the tree before I got to enjoy them. We have a lot growing now so I don't want them to go to waste. Google says September/October is usually when apples are ready, but I don't know if that holds true in all climates.

Any tips or tricks for how to tell they're good to go? Is it just watching the color, or are there other telltale signs?

With the exception of 1 nectarine tree I grew from a pit, these are all supposed to be "reachable" dwarf peach trees. I rent so they have to remain in pots. I tranplanted them into these 60 gallon air pots in March & I now have a forest in my tiny backyard. I've been cutting back some new shoots just so I can walk through the yard but I know you're not supposed to do any heavy pruning during the growing season. I will definitely have a lot of pruning to do this winter. They've remained pretty healthy which is surprising because I've always battled shot hole & fungus in my coastal climate. No fruit this year but these trees are only 3 years old. The first photo is one I didnt get around to replanting yet but will this winter. No questions but any advice on taming these beasts is welcomed. God help me if I ever want to move.

Hi! So I bought this dwarf peach tree ( Variety : Zaipevi diamond) in a garden centre the previous autumn , put in a bigger pot ( i don’t have the exact size sorry) and it does very well for a first year cause it has make several flower in march . I thinned most of them in late april and now the peaches starting to ripening . But I wondering myself, it is supposed to be this small ? I saw on the internet that dwarf trees producing smaller fruits it’s normal but when i search about this variety they said that it should produce standard size . Can you guys help me find what’s going on?

We recently moved to a new home with this tree on the property. I’m pretty sure it’s a plum, but cannot figure out the variety. Thoughts based on the pictures? Thanks!

I’m trying to grow a lemon tree. I have a starting photo I was told the pot is too small. If someone can please put me in the direction of what size to get any recommendations on soil watering schedule. I’m far from a green thumb.

All I know is that it has thorns (spinas) and I’ve poked myself a lot.

We just moved into a new home and we have other plants that I don’t know what they are and I don’t know how to keep them alive. They came with the house if anyone is wanting to give me any direction in those I’ll be more than happy to post photos. Because one plant looks like it was eaten or rotting. I can’t tell and I live in HOA neighborhood and I’m trying not to have to pay for new plants.

Just finished summer pruning my 18 stone fruit trees. All looking good in a goblet shape. Most of them were very over grown so I took a chance. Hopefully it’s worth it. They are all only in their third year and I’m focusing more on keeping them small and open for easier harvests.

We are looking for help planting a bonanza minature peach in Southern Utah. It has struggled in a pot, so we are looking to plant it in the ground. What are the best soil remediations for red sandy soil?
Monsoon seasons have started so is July an okay time to plant it in the ground? I’m worried it won’t last the some in the pot.

I planted it about 4 or 5 months ago. At first it was really happy but about 2 months ago I started noticing the leaves yellowing and then falling off. My soil is clay so I stopped watering it as often as I was. Now I water it once a week. But it is still not doing well. What could I be doing wrong?
