Hopefully I can buy a tank for when it gets bigger- So basically my dad found this young american toad and brought it home. This is all I had I couldn't find anything else for the enclosure. I added water (no chlorine) in a bottle cap. I put rinsed grass and leaves, damp paper towels, and a cut plastic cup for it to hide in. I am buying coconut fiber brick, and a calcium with d3 powder. Currently Willow(Willow is the toads name) has only eaten 2 gnats(just got Willow today)
QUESTION: Does anybody how big Willoe should get before I buy a tank? Also my dad might bring me another one tommorow or soon, could be small, could be big and probaly the same species. Anything I should know?

Found him on top of the inner cover to a beehive. In Illinois west of Chicago near cropland. Thought it might be a cricket frog but seems pretty small. For reference the notch is a little over 1/2ā.

Today we caught a frog for giggles and shit and watched it temporarily in a container, with the intention to release it later, its a one room building and all of a sudden the mf broke the lid somehow and jumped under my couch, i left some blanched crickets and a water plate out for it, i honestly wanna get a terrarium for it

I have a blanket and blacklight set up on my old playground and heard some rustling in the leaves. I went to check and this American toad was in there.

Okay Redditā¦I need your help. I have exhausted every search engine and other resource I can trying to figure out what kind of frog this tadpole is.
The two biggest options are American Bullfrog or Northern Leopard Frog. Google is convinced itās a baby bullfrog. But the size difference of the two options is huge, so I kind of need to know.
It was rescue from the feeder goldfish tank at the Petco my boyfriend works at. They needed someone to take it or it was going to get a much lessā¦happy ending. Itās currently adjusting to the temp of my 6.8 shallow crayfish tank. Sheās a 5ā MONSTER, and is the most aggressive eater Iāve ever seen. He still has more of a chance in here than at Petco. And once I identify his species and give him time to show he is healthy and clear of sickness, Iām releasing him in a local pond here in Iowa.
Please help! Thank you.

Iām trying to pin down identification for the large tadpoles in the first four photos. They are new to my ponds and apparently someone snuck into my nursery and abandoned their babies. I am familiar with my local armies of Copeās Grey tree frogs and squirrel tree frogs.
I have heard the calls of Eastern narrow-mouthed toads in my āmini yard swampā, among other toads.
The last two photos are Copeās GTF tadpoles/metamorphs with extreme color variation for reference (colors developed differently based on the color of habitat buckets, cool huh?).
The last photo is the newest clutch collected from same puddle as the funny faced tads.
iNaturalist and other searches give me answers all over the place to the point I of further confusion. Can anyone help me out please and thank you? ššøā¤ļø

Iām currently in Guangzhou, China and I met him on my way back to the hotel. I didnāt want to hold onto him for long or disturb him so I couldnāt really take a decent photo or even to look at him for a while. ( the whole āinteractionā (?) took place from like 30 seconds max. I think I saw some little orange spots on him too( u canāt see it in the photo tho) If anyone has any idea who this guy is it would be delightful to know, especially since I donāt know anything about this guy
