How do we increase the fanfare? As of now more people are playing her, but yet they care so little to make curated fanart, memes, or videos/edits of her. This sub is pretty niche eventhough there are really 3-4 people who do put effort in making stuff for her but post sporadically months apart.

Kind of a strange question but i started playing again start of season 2 and she was pretty widely considered a bad pick. I heard that when she first came out she was busted. When did she become terrible? (I know after latest patch she isnt bad anymore)

I know I'm bronze and this might be a case of "just get gud" but I had a game where my Moira told me it was my job to deal with the Pharah. And I spent the game trying to do just that (Not cause Moira told me to but because the Pharah was a problem). But I just couldn't hit her. I feel like just spamming primary fire in her general direction was more effective than actually trying to hit with take aim, since Freja isn't hitscan and Pharah was always at range, by the time my projectile gets to her she's changed trajectory and I miss.

To boil this down to the point. Is this just a matter of practice to get my aim better? Or is spamming primary genuinely better than trying to hit with take aim? Or is there another strategy to dealing with fliers?

Okay, despite enjoying Freja when I play her sometimes I want the character to be deleted now after playing against her as tank 3 times. Worst experience I've ever had. Made me want to uninstall the game each time this hero got through ban and I had to play tank against it.

She's not allowed to dress practically. She has a boob window and uncovered thighs for vulnerable to the cold and bullets. For what reason may you ask?

Only to service the male gaze.

At least she's able to do be this cool badass carboard cutout character but she's not allowed to express human emotion nor empathy towards others. For who is she for?

Only to express feelings for a mid century year old man.

Why isn't she in charge of her story nor able to show her background story for the world to see? Why does she even exist?

To service and prop up a man's image.

The maniac pixie girl, the girl in the way, the jezebel who is disposable.... I know where this is going.... The writers made it clear that she would know no peace and would suffer for existing. They only wrote her to be a service vehicle to some man's plot and not a person of her own. Only changing for a man and no one else around her so they made her unlikable as possible.

Please let her breath or put her out of this misery. Girl knows no rest in this existential hellscape. Let the void claim her for it is better than being some puppet slave who is hated by all and liked by none or cut the strings and breathe some humanity into her on her own accord.

Would love any insights you guys have! What are your preferred bans? What sort of comps do you think Freja works best in? How can I get the most out of her kit? etc etc.

Getting to 400 is such a slog. I think I might take a break from ow for a week. I wanted the title so badly lol

Why is her mysterious bounty hunter story thrown out the window and severely flanderized for servicing another character? Why is the narrative so bad in her comic? They could have built something interesting with her backstory to justify her aloofness and coldness but no she's just a vessel with no agency of her own and only there to move a story. Everyone who isn't mind controlled is allowed a full background profile of who they are and she isn't. Her personality doesn't help at all since Blizzard forgot to add one into her and just slapped another Ashe but bland type of ordeal. What a shame since she's one of the most fun heroes to play since Doomfist and Venture.

Holy shit she feels so good to play and now I'm actually getting rewarded instead of leaving everyone at 1hp. Scared they might nerf her soon since she's being played everywhere at the top level... what do you guys think?

Apply (content creator) said something on his stream on Freja that intrigued me. He basically shares his view on Freja being one of the most balanced hero in Overwatch, mainly because she is the definition of a glass cannon. It's just a short clip, and he shared his view multiple times on Freja if you're interested.

I was curious to hear what you think: has Freja one of the most balanced kit in the game? What's your take on this?

Literally unhinged. Her win rate is looking actually positive for the first time in a year, and it seems completely down to the nerfs of other heroes, because I cannot believe that a tiny M1 slop buff was enough to push her this high. I think it might settle a lot as the patch is only a few days old, but these BAN RATES!? Goddamnit that is actually uncalled for. I think that it's just players freaking out at seeing her in their games and kneejerk banning, but it's just wild how viscerally people HATE playing against her!

This Ana player literally raging at me in chat. Unfortunately I don't have the full chat from when he started, but he was talking about Freja being a "no-skill hero" and how he was "just better" despite getting absolutely and consistently wrecked. Even his teammates and mine were calling him out for calling Freja "no-aim" and "not having to hit shots to do damage". It's like some people live on a different planet.

The funny thing is, he started profile checking me and just ignored the rank of the mode we were playing in (Mid Masters 6v6) and just looked at my 5v5 rank which I've not actively played since around S18 of OW2 as I'd been playing mostly Stadium around then.

Anyone else had these crashouts from players who just can't seem to handle Freja in their games?

Things I have noticed:

Her original winrate before the patch was around 44%-46%. This has drastically increased to around 51%-52% in most ranks between silver to masters. In both bronze and grandmaster/champ she sits at a below 50% winrate, but she has by far the highest playrate in grandmaster/champ.

I think the aim shot delay after shooting being reduced coupled with a faster projectile spam is the big game changer for why she feels so good/strong. She If hitting shots with ammo minor perk, she dumps huge amounts of damage out which I believe is the main reason for the gigantic leap in her winrate.

I can't imagine she will stay this way and is going to get taken out back again. Is she busted again, or is it just the combination of low playrate character actually being usable now with specialists players causing the high winrate (Venture situation)

Hoping to hear opinions from fellow Freja mains

Clip just to show how I feel like I am thriving. These buffs feel so impactful to me. I can play her way more confidently now and actually fight people on even grounds now. From the numbers I didn't thought it be all super impactful but after playing these past few days I am loving it.
