I am looking to hire an animator + video editor who would work on a part time basis with me.

The idea is to work on a new youtube channel and create templates that we could use to quickly churn out infotainment videos (non AI).

Budget is INR 20,000 per month paid weekly based on milestones.

Time period: I would initially like to begin with a 1 month paid engagement, and if things go well we can extend it for the next 3 months and then can keep extending this. I would ideally need someone who can partner with me for the next 2 years and I can also compensate you based on the success of the channel, over and above the fixed component.

hi, ive run 2 startups. one was a mental health app another (ongoing) is an ai consultancy service. the whole concept is that mental health services are very expensive around 2000 inr per hour making it very inaccessible like a luxury, we were bringing it to you at 50 inr an hour. your "counsellor" would've been a student studying their masters in psychology. they were under the mentorship of an actual professional therapist. that way the "peer counsellors" get the experience that they need and people in need had someone to talk to at a very cheap price.

1. I started it with my childhood friend (don't pick a cofounder just cause he's your friend)
2. I myself am not the biggest advocate of therapy but I did believe that this could help a lot of people (you need to 100% believe in your product and mission before anyone else)
3. I used to work on more hard black and white logic and my cofounder was a lot more emotional about decisions (this caused us to fight a lot because we had different ways of doing things, not saying that one is better than the other, you do need both)
4. you can't see direct results so that made our team very very lazy(the goal of making mental health accessible was a very long term far away goal which made it difficult for most of my team to actually maintain that drive that they started with)
5. we hired a lot of college interns to reduce opex (they were all shit I do not recommend)
6. it was my first startup and we had a team of almost 20 people and I wasn't able to manage them at all (we overpromised and under delivered to the people of the team that we first sold the idea to which is very wrong on our part. my current startup runs very lean of only 4 people making it very profitable and easy to manage)
7. we sometimes went weeks without doing any work (if you actually want to succeed in your startup you need to live and breathe your work, it should keep you up at night just thinking about growing your startup )
8. we never grew our ig account to more than 600 followers. we were very very inconsistent with posting and the only face ever on camera was me because everyone else was way too uncomfortable being on camera and talking about sensitive things like mental health issues. (post a lot, post good shit, get a team with people as ready as you are.)

these are just a couple of mistakes I did which ive learnt from. my current startup is fairly successful and profitable in the last 6 months that we have been running for. I am still extremely tight with my childhood friend. we had around 40 peer counselling sessions and ultimately closed it because we werent putting in the work that was required to allow this app to take off. thanks for reading haha.
