Sanheim, Risto, Drysdale, York, Seeler makes 5. Jiricek makes 6. Where does that leave Benoit, Bonk, McDonald, Murchison or Ginning? Purely injury replacements or does one push out Seeler- the heart and soul guy who drops the gloves to protect the kids?
Jiricek should get a long look.

Where do you guys find unique Flyers souvenirs?
I want to start a small collection of Flyers souvenirs. What do you recommend?

2009-2010 Reflection
Does anyone else just get lost in thought reminiscing that glorious 2009-2010 run?
No doubt everyone here has their own standout plays/goals/wins they remember. Prongs is my all time fave player to ever lace em up and could talk about him all day.
What do you remember/stands out most to you from this run?

The East will be a bloodbath, especially the Metro. How confident are you The Flyers will make the playoffs or the top 3 of the metro? How do Martone, Michkov and Foerster play into your hunch? What about Vladar, Woll or Acciari?
Let’s go Flyers.

Got my tickets for Oct!
I'm so amped to see my first game at Xfinity since 2023. I've been to a few games in NYC and NJ, and watched at sports bars when I've been able to make a weekend trip to Philly, but so happy the first 1pm game of the season is Flyers V Ducks so I can make a day trip of it from NY. 2026-2027 season cannot come fast enough.

Help identifying signature
Years ago when I was a kid, a new sporting goods store opened up across the street from where I lived and they had a grand opening with a bunch of the Bullies. I remember meeting Bill Clement and Dave Schultz, and those signatures are clear as day. After talking to my dad, he cant remember who the third flyer was either. Can anyone recognize the top signature?

Speculate: Zegras hanging out with Larkin, Kittle, et al for the World Cup Final
A little networking while hanging with the boys perhaps? Maybe Zegras talks Larkin into coming to Philly? We need new hope now that Carlson is off the board.

Owen Tippet is signed at 6.2 for the next 6 years until ‘31/‘32. Over the last 4 years he’s averaged 25.75 goals, 49 points and missed 3.75 games per year.
Maybe Brière’s best contract signed.

Briere's kids play in charity matchup
Flyers Warriors played the PA State Troopers team to a 6-5 loss. Both of Briere's kids joined the Warriors. It was a charity matchup for Corporal O'Connor who was killed on duty earlier this year.

Comcast got a taste
Feel like comcast got a taste of playoff hockey and the potential business outcomes that come along with it —> green lit an $18m, bonus loaded, offer sheet.
Something tells me there’s more where that came from (not OS but just money available for star power) in the near future.

Noel Acciari facts: 34y, undrafted by Bruins. In April/June 2019 he played through a broken sternum & injured hand & foot for the Bruins playoffs. In Dec 2019 with FLA he scored his first Hat Trick, scored his second HT the very next game. Last season was his 2nd best in the NHL.
Welcome to Philadelphia

The Flyers lost 6 straight Cup Finals across a 35-year span, all against legendary dynasties. Does any team in pro sports history have a more unfortunate stretch in terms of strength of schedule in championship series/games?

Edvinsson
So it’s floating out there that DET will match any offer sheet for him, and they have plenty of cap space, but do you think Danny could try to steal him? Would you want him to?
Only 23, 6’6”, former #6 overall. 5x11.9 is the max offer that would keep you under the 4 1sts compensation. Like Carlsson, he hasn’t earned that kind of money yet, but you’d have to offer something like that to try to steal him.
Maybe there’s a big trade to be made where he and Larkin come this way? The price would be ridiculous, Michkov and/or Martone would have to be involved as well as other players and picks.
I know it won’t happen, but it’s the dog days so need to talk about something. I think he’s already a top pairing level guy and has more potential to be a true #1D than anyone in our system. But getting him would probably mean hurting our chances for a 1C.

Flyers Agree to Terms With Defenseman Jamie Drysdale on a Four-Year Contract | Philadelphia Flyers

I love the way Danny B negotiates contracts.
Every signing we make it feels like it's 1-2 mill cheaper than expected & that has really added up now with the team having 14 million in cap space with almost all the major players locked up.
Even if you disagree with the term on a TK, Dvorak, Vladar it's impossible to be mad at the money. Especially when you look at the current NHL.
He's truly taken this team from the sewer in terms of cap space and contracts to one of the best positioned teams in the league & I feel that goes unnoticed way too often.
Hes left the door open to go after a big ticket player whenever the opportunity arises (as we just saw) & at some point he's gonna strike.
Not in love with his drafting, but the trades & contracts he's done have been largely brilliant.
