I am a long time Floorp user and forgot what are the advantages.

I think there were few features that Firefox didn't have at the time I started using Floorp, but I don't know about now.

After every single update, Floorp opens 3 tabs.
Tab 1: https://blog.floorp.app/en/ All release notes and posts, this one is fair I guess.
Tab 2: https://blog.floorp.app/en/release/12.16.0/ The release notes of the update you just installed, this one is the only really important one.

Tab 3: This is the least important one, it only shows the general Floorp 12 changes from Floorp 11. I get that this was important just after Floorp 12 released since there was a lot of confusion due to the many changes but it's been almost a year now. It's no longer necessary!

Do you guys agree?

Is that something I need to change in the settings in order to just have one?

I'm coming from vivaldi after it stopped supporting uBlock Origin, where my group tabs were displayed like this.

Instead of like this

It's driving me crazy that I can't get it to show up BELOW the group, since it pushes all my other tabs and groups over and really messes up my mental organization. Is there anything I can do to make the grouped tabs show up like this?

I also wish I could just drag and drop them in without having to name them, but this is by far the bigger issue for me right now.

I've been using waterfox ever since i got this mac. I would use floorp but there is one this stopping me. This annoying frame rate. Do any of you guys have this problem?

I just switched to Floorp 12 and I'm absolutely loving it. I'm trying to customize the interface using userChrome.css to achieve a macOS-inspired look, but my custom code doesn't seem to apply at all (yes, I already enabled toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets in about:config and put the file in the correct chrome folder inside my active profile).

I haven't cleared the browser cache, nor have I configured the browser to clear it upon closing. However, I occasionally lose my login sessions when opening websites I am already logged into. This happens frequently on sites like Google and YouTube. Specifically, when I close the browser and reopen it to reload the previous pages, this login issue often occurs. However, if I close and reopen the browser a second time, the login state is restored.

hey coming from Vivaldi is there a way to go through tabs one at a time with the mouse wheel like on vivaldi?

A number of the default preset colors can look similar to each other, particularly when the tab group is closed.

Are bg color of these menus or popups customizable? If so can anyone explain how?

I used to use the multi-row feature of tabs. I don't remember if it was in the hub or normal settings.

In any case, the recent versions of Floorp got issues no matter what I choose out of them:

I can't drag and drop tabs to change their orders anymore. I tried to use the various "Interface" options for the tabs, but it didn't help.

So, I tried to switch to vertical tabs instead (via the normal settings, not the hub), and I can get used to this. I can see why some people like it. However, now it has a different issue, of switching between tabs.

For example, I have 5 pinned tabs. I change the order of one of them, to be the last of the pinned tabs. Using CTRL+TAB on it (or mouse wheel), instead of going to the normal (non-pinned) tabs, it goes to the previous pinned tab instead, and from there it would go to the first normal tab when I use CTRL+TAB again.

Not only that, but if I restart Floorp, the pinned tabs change their orders to what they were before I changed the order. It's as if what I see visually isn't what's actually saved and used in logic...

What's going on? Are these known issues? Any workarounds?

Is there a way to disable all the things that open when Floorp updates? I rarely use this computer with Floorp and it feels like I get 4 popup tabs every time I start a browser

Initially i assumed the browser must've rebranded or something, because since yesterday instead of launching it keeps asking me to download Firefox Nightly. And when i did none of my bookmarks or nothing were transferred over.

Anyone know what's up with this?

On Kubuntu 26.04

I usually have two Floorp windows open, one on each of my monitors. The issue I'm having is when I move a tab to create a second window I can not use the mouse on the old window for browsing. Only on the new window it created for that tab. When I move the tabs over to the same window it all works. If I move the new tab back to the old window the old window starts working.

I can use keyboard movement though. I can click floorp menus, bookmarks and the address bar and such but the actual website frame will not act like there is a mouse.

An entire update for one minor tweak today. Just a week after the last, and the broken v12.15.0 update. 3 updates in 2 weeks. IMO this is why Floorp usage won't grow significantly unfortunately.

I installed floorp on my new pc and since the install floorp is showing some weird bugs of the tabs. i have already tried closing my app and restarting my pc. Does any one of you also facing the same issue?
