Advice on acclimating a flamepoint with a new cat…
I hope to introduce my 3-year-old flamepoint to a new female cat around his same age. Has anyone had a difficult time transitioning a flamepoint with other cats? He is such a high energy, playful cat that I’m concerned only certain personality types would mesh well with him.

My baby is almost 9
Victoria is the most intelligent and affectionate cat I’ve ever had, and I have 3. She’s super active and playful, extremely well behaved for no reason, and just overall the love of my life. I’ve never met another cat like her and up until recently I didn’t know there was such thing as flame points. And never saw another female until I discovered this place. Soooo nice!

Almost done with antibiotics🥳
My sweet boy spent a day at the animal hospital last week. I noticed he was over grooming himself for two days and decided to take him to his vet assuming it was a urinary blockage or UTI.
And I’m sure I appeared frantic/terrified to the vet but I TRULY WAS. I lost my first cat child last year to urinary blockage so I’d say I’m now hyper aware of the signs.
Anyway I was not able to stay because I had an interview at the hospital and just as I arrived I got a call from one of the nurses saying he DID NOT have a blockage or UTI but instead his booty hole was the issue. I was so relieved. Turns out his anal glands were impacted. Once drained, they applied steroid cream and started his round of antibiotics.
Carter was very angry with me when I picked him up(3rd slide). He then spent a couple of hours laying in bed with his legs open(2nd slide). There have been a few occurrences where he is grooming his booty for too long but I have been stopping him. He also now has daily booty wipes.
I pray my boys booty fully recovers!

dingle berries & skid marks
What do you do when your flame point has constant dingle berries? Its a daily battle to clean her up. She loves to have her tail up when guest come over. But it’s unpleasant when she wants cuddles from them and theres a huge skid mark and dingle berries on her behind?😓

Is he a flamepoint?
Ive been posting here for a while but i recently posted and someone was trying to tell me he definitely isnt a flamepoint because his nose is white and that basically that one factor disqualifies him from being a flamepoint. She said he was a tuxedo but not a flamepoint because the orange doesnt originate from his nose. Ive been posting here for years without anyone saying anything. Am i crazy???

DND mode activated
He normally lays next to my legs when I get home. I suppose he had a hard day yesterday because he went into do not disturb mode early 😴

Officially had this gorgeous lady a year! She's come a long way since then.
The last few pictures were when she found us, before she healed/got healthy.

Toasted marshmallow
Meet Caspian, we thought he was going to be a beautiful white kitty. But pleasantly surprised to find out out he got all toasty 😂 my favorite part is that in some light he’s whiter and in some lighting he’s darker. But for sure he’s got the orange brain cell.

Is he a flamepoint?
He's Yax! His parents are a smallbone ragdoll x siamese. He just turned 2-months old and I wanted to know if he's a flamepoint based on what I've seen haha
