Is there a certain point i need to be to story wise to open this safe in Shinra Mansion? Sephiroth just threw destruct materia at me. My first visit to the Manson. I'm going Right 36, Left 10, Right 59, Left 97, not going past ever, hitting confirm and hearing the sound everytime, and not going past the time limit, but it's still telling me fail. Is it just broken for me for some reason? Or am I not able to open it yet?

Hey, so I am replaying through FFVII Rebirth on Switch 2 and finishing all ranks of the Sit Up mini game found shortly after completing a quest for Jules.

On PS5, I recall there was a part where you had to hold a trigger button when the icon is green, but this didn't show up on the Switch 2 version. I am wondering if this was removed because there are no adaptive triggers? Or maybe there was another hard version of the mini game that opens when I am able to return after Gold Saucer.

I would be happy if that mini game was done and dusted and maybe it was just easier on switch 2 😂.

I just got done with chapter 10 in Rebirth and want to know when the point of no return is when you can still go back and complete quests and anything left unfinished. Can anybody tell me when that is? Also no spoilers please obviously!!!

I played through this final fantasy 7 remake twice previously on playstation, i now have it on xbox play anywhere. Ive looked into save transfers online and it appears possible. Ive spent hours trying to do it with xbox save file converter and other methods and it doesnt work. Im looking for advice on how to do it or if anyone has a basic save with normal mode unlocked they could share that would be great. I want to play it again but dont want to have to play through on normal.

So, I know this question is probably asked a couple of times every day, but still.. should i play the FF7 og before playing the remakes? I've just completed FFX (it was my first FF and second JRPG) and already bought the remakes, but I heard that they changed the story a bit. Generally, i think I can tolerate older games, but the oldest ones I played are like FFX and the witcher 1

I can manage to pressure him by Focused Thrust-ing moments after Think Fast. And I've read that Braver can auto stagger him?

I just get slowly whittled down while playing it safe or face rolled when I play aggressive. Is it possible my Defense is too low? (Sitting at 88)

I'd taken down Darkstar once so far, but got KO's right after.

What am I missing?

I have a question regarding The Saga of Seaside Inn side quest. So, I am already in chapter 9 and I still have this quest to finish. I am on the last step, fight the Tonberry King but as you can see, I am already at the correct location but no sign of the king… Am I missing something?

Got all these 3 variants the smaller one have pretty nice details but its a bit smaller

Britt Baron (Tifa), John Eric Bentley (Barrett), and Suzie Yeung (Yuffie) signed my Steelbook this weekend at a convention i attended. Unfortunately, Britt's signature got a little scuffed during transport, but i am super happy with how it turned out! The voice actors were all such nice people (especially John and Britt), taking the time to discuss Rebirth and the upcoming Revelation with me with me. I am so happy I got the opportunity to do this, it was a really great experience!

idk if i should say it and spoil it so stop reading if you’re afraid but im 99% sure the literal ending of the game is shown in rebirth already and we will end up looping back to the moment when cloud saves aeris and he says wake up and she opens her eyes.

idk how we will get there but we know he manages to save her and we know the world he remains in where she dies has a cracked sky. but rebirth shows us him saving her, and shows her opening her eyes. so whatever tomfoolery we go through means that cloud did manage to continue his journey with lifestream aeris and somehow end up back at the moment she dies and this time save her.

even though the scenes where she is saved are just a few seconds long, if you imagine a huge multi party multiverse battle just at that moment then extrapolate the scene of him telling her to wake up, it turns into a very emotional moment (that wasn’t felt at all in the rebirth playthrough).

it also makes sense from a narrative way because how else are you going to “save aeris” that final time? it HAS to be at that scene. whatever happens to get us there doesn’t matter so much, lifestream aeris and her white whispers, preventing or experiencing meteor, sephiroth or cloud summoning holy with a retrieved white materia, and/or absorbing the lifestream, - everything HAS to come back to cloud pausing sephiroth at the altar and aeris waking up.

then i guess chadley will call and therell be a final regrouping for the final final battle but with aeris alive this time (maybe thats when we stop meteor too).

but, basically, we SAW him save aeris, they SHOWED her waking up in a 5 second scene, and there’s no way they aren’t going to loop back to that moment and have us continue from there.

just watch it again and extrapolate that waking up scene for yourself. cloud experiences it then suddenly is back with the party, but he knows what has happened and knows what is to come, he sees the cracked sky, he knows he saved aeris, she tells him that its not over yet, a sephiroth retreats to his final resting point where the party in that final world line will now head to confront him with aeris after the rest of them regroup.

i can’t believe they literally showed us the exact scene they are gonna use in Revelation, but they did and it’s been staring us in the face for two years
