AI Policy Update and Mod Recruiting

Having looked over the responses to the post I made to get community feedback on AI posts, the general consensus seemed to be allowing people to post AI material related to their savegames but not allowing posting AI games. I'm personally considering making a game promotion megathread where people can promote stuff like that (please give me your opinions on that) but as of right now: No posting any advertisements of your game. This includes: screenshots, update notes, feature announcements, basically anything that promotes your game. If I do make the megathread that will be the only place acceptable to post them.

I also appear to be the only active mod on the sub which used to require very little moderation. I'm going to look at adding a few more moderators so that issues will hopefully be dealt with swiftly. If you are interested in applying please send a modmail with your reasoning as to why you would make a good mod.

CPWA Octane 7/22/26

The show opens with a moment of silence for the late Kaylee Hottle, Brenda Ficker, Siva Afi, Sarah Mataele, Hal Williams, Kohen Wiley, and Latoya Malcolm.

Kaylee Hottle 2007-2026
Brenda Fricker 1945-2026
Papali'itele Max Amata Taogaga aka Siva Afi 1949-2026
Sarah Mataele 1971-2026
Hal Williams 1934-2026
Kohen Wiley 2025-2026
Latoya Malcolm 1991-2026

The moment of silence ends, and we open on a recap of last week's main event featuring "Mr. Handsome," Michael Thomas, taking on Prince Kimo. The main event went back and forth with the momentum swings, but the majority of it saw "Mr. Handsome" dominating and goading the Tokyo crowd. Just when it looked like "Mr. Handsome" was about to win the match with Ode to Handsomeness, "JP Tha God" Johnny Paganiban distracted the referee, causing "Mr. Handsome" to confront him. This allowed "The Young Ruler of the Islands" to go for the roll-up, only getting a 2-count. Kimo then hits an X-Factor on "Mr. Handsome," followed by a Honolulu Hangover for the three-count pinfall. Afterward, we see the Marvelous Alliance, the Olympians, the Commonwealth, Muscle Force, and the Number 1 Cartel engaging in a wild brawl. The camera pans away from the skirmish, seeing Kahuna Maiavia knocked out.

Brian Kinsley: Wait a sec, Kahuna Maiavia is knocked out! Who could've knocked out the Big Kahuna? The camera remains on Kahuna Maiavia as the recap ends.

We then open with a 30-second intro highlighting all of the stars of CPWA as The Roots' "BOOM" plays in the background. The intro ends with Prince Kimo holding the CPWA Heavyweight Championship belt over his head, followed by clapping from the crowd.

Brian Kinsley: We welcome you to CPWA Octane. We are coming to you live from Portland, Oregon! Brian Kinsley, along with Anthony Harris, Sir Samuel Stewart, and Queen Sheba. We have a good card for you tonight. It's the go-home show before Independent Rebellion, and there's a lot on the line.

Anthony Harris: We have a couple of number one contender's matches for the CPWA Television and International Championships.

Queen Sheba: We also have "the Barcelona Beauty" Alejandra Moreno in action.

Sir Samuel Stewart: Our tour of the Pacific was great, but we're back stateside and ready to bring the ruckus. Let's take it to the ring!

We cut to the ring.

Announcer: The following contest is a triple threat match scheduled for...

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

Announcer: With a 13-minute time limit.

Less Than Jake's "P.S. Shock The World" plays in the background.

Announcer: Introducing first, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is Jason Reynolds.

Men at Work's "Down Under" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Next, representing the Commonwealth, from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he is one-half of the Quebec Outback Connection, Remy LaCroix.

M.O.P.'s "Fly N***a Hill F***a" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Finally, from Brooklyn, New York, "The Hi-Fli Kid," Jerome Evans.

Match 1: Triple Threat Match: Jason Reynolds vs. Remy LaCroix vs. "The Hi-Fli Kid" Jerome Evans

The opening contest saw one-half of each cruiserweight tag team doing battle before their championship match at Independent Rebellion. The only highlights of this match were the high spots all three competitors took part in. The finish of the match saw Reynolds hit the Cajun Roller on LaCroix for the three-count pinfall.

4.0 out of 10 stars.

We cut to the interviewing area, where Chloe Martinez is interviewing Prince Kimo about who took out Kahuna Maiavia. Kimo says that he is adamant about finding out who is responsible for taking out Kahuna and demands answers. Kimo then calls out Lord Phillip Byron IV, seeing that he was closer to Kahuna's body when he was prone on the floor.

6.5 out of 10 stars for this segment: Decent segment for Prince Kimo

We cut back to the ring.

Announcer: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a 13-minute time limit.

Summer Nights in Spain plays in the arena.

Announcer: Introducing first, representing Azteca Lucha Libre, from Barcelona, Spain, she is "The Barcelona Beauty," Alejandra Moreno.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's "PONPONPON" plays in the arena as the crowd claps along to the beat and chants her name.

Announcer: And her opponent, from Yokohama, Japan, she is "the Orange Idol Princess," Aiko Yoshida.

Match 2: "The Barcelona Beauty" Alejandra Moreno vs. "The Orange Idol Princess" Aiko Yoshida

A slightly better match than the opener, though there were some stop-and-start moments between the two competitors. As much as the competitors tried to get out of first gear, the match tended to stall, leading to the finish, where Moreno hit the Shining Barcelona for the three-count pinfall.

4.7 out of 10 stars.

We cut to a graphic hyping up a number one contender's match for the CPWA International Championship between The Olympians' Devon Gatlin-Tyson, Muscle Force's Lion, the Number 1 Cartel's Money Mark, and the Marvelous Alliance's "Mr. Handsome," Michael Thomas. We then cut to a graphic hyping up a tag team match between the Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah) and the Floribama Boyz (Jeremy and Kirk G). We then cut to a graphic hyping up a number one contender's match for the CPWA Television Championship between Muscle Force's Typhoon, the Number 1 Cartel's Kaine Harris, the Marvelous Alliance's Ivan Markov, and the Olympians' Ryan Phelps.

***Commercial Break featuring CPWA competitors in various commercials***

We return from commercial break, and we see the Commonwealth discussing among themselves how to deal with Prince Kimo. Lord Phillip Byron IV tells his cohorts that he will confront Prince Kimo over such accusations and tell his side of the story.

6.3 out of 10 stars for this segment: Decent segment for the Commonwealth and his lordship.

We cut back to the ring.

Announcer: The following contest is a number-one contender's match for the CPWA Television Championship, scheduled for one fall with a 13-minute time limit.

"Virtual Voodoo" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Introducing first, representing Muscle Force, he is Typhoon.

Yonosuke Kitamura's "Lunatic" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Next, accompanied to the ring by his angel, Jessica, representing the Number 1 Cartel, from Oakland, California, he is Kaine Harris.

Red Army Choir's "The Artilleryman's Song" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Next, representing the Marvelous Alliance, from St. Petersburg, Russia, Ivan Markov.

Leo Arnaud's "Bulger's Dream" plays in the arena

Announcer: Finally, representing The Olympians, from Baltimore, Maryland, he is Ryan Phelps

Match 3: Number One Contender's Match for the CPWA Television Championship: Typhoon vs. Kaine Harris vs. Ivan Markov vs. Ryan Phelps

This was a chaotic brawl with three big men and a technical high-flyer in Phelps. Typhoon and Markov were the standouts in this match with their physicality, nearly getting the decision pinfall. The finish of the match saw Markov placing Phelps in the Markov Recliner, only for Kaine to break up the submission and hit Markov with the Death Valley Driver for the three-count pinfall.

6.0 out of 10 stars.

We cut to the backstage area, and we see Prince Kimo and Johnny Paganiban confronting Jordan Angle. Angle doesn't want to talk with Kimo and "JP Tha God" after seeing Phelps coming up short. Kimo and "JP Tha God" continue getting in Angle's face, forcing him to speak to them, which he does. Kimo asks Angle if Lord Phillip Byron IV attacked Kahuna Maiavia. Jordan Angle answers that he was too busy to see who struck Kahuna, thanks to his part in the feud. Kimo and "JP Tha God" end up walking away.

6.9 out of 10 stars.

We cut back to the ring.

Announcer: The following contest is a number-one contender's match for the CPWA International Championship, scheduled for one fall with a 13-minute time limit.

Leo Arnaud's "Bulger's Dream" plays in the arena

Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Olympians, from Jacksonville, Florida, he is Devon Gatlin-Tyson

"Into Dawada" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Introducing first, representing Muscle Force, he is Lion!

Almighty 3's "To The Other MC's" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Next, representing the Number 1 Cartel, from Opa-Locka, Florida, he is Money Mark!

Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Finally, representing the Marvelous Alliance, from Palo Alto, California, he is "Mr. Handsome," Michael Thomas.

Match 4: Number One Contender's Match for the CPWA International Championship: Devon Gatlin-Tyson vs. Lion vs. Money Mark vs. "Mr. Handsome," Michael Thomas

This was by far the best match of the night. DGT was the real standout in this match, gaining nearfall after nearfall against his opponents with his patented split-second DDT. Lion and "Mr. Handsome" worked with the double-team tactics before deciding to turn against each other. The finish of the match saw Money Mark hit the Money Maker on DGT for the three-count pinfall.

8.5 out of 10 stars.

We cut to a graphic hyping up a match between Jake Odenkirk and Damien Angel. We cut to a graphic hyping up the fact that we will hear from Prince Kimo. We cut to a graphic hyping up a tag team match between the Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah) taking on the Floribama Boyz (Jeremy and Kirk G.).

***Commercial Break featuring a commercial hyping up CPWA Independent Rebellion***

We return from commercial break, and we see "the Number One Pick," LeJuan Jones, walking around backstage. He is then confronted by Prince Kimo and "JP tha God." Kimo asks "the Number One Pick" about his involvement in last week's brawl that took out Kahuna Maiavia. "The Number One Pick" says that he was nowhere near Kahuna once the brawl began, but he did see Kahuna talking with Lord Phillip Byron IV, but couldn't figure out what it was. Kimo and "JP Tha God" leave.

7.5 out of 10 stars for this segment: Solid segment.

We cut back to the ring.

Announcer: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall with a 13-minute time limit.

Blake Shelton's "Good Ole Boys" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Introducing first, representing The Newton Boys, from the great state of Tennessee, they are Roy and Zechariah Newton.

LMFAO feat. Lil Jon's "Shots" plays in the arena.

Announcer: And their opponents, from the Panhandle, they are Jeremy and Kirk G., the Floribama Boyz!

Match 5: The Newton Boys (Roy and Zechariah) vs. the Floribama Boyz (Jeremy and Kirk G.)

A somewhat decent match that the Newton Boys carried. Roy and Zechariah cut the ring in half, preventing Jeremy from tagging in Kirk G. Once Kirk G. got the hot tag, he was on fire. During the match, Shelton Jordan of the Jordan Family interfered in the match, preventing Roy from using his slapjack. This allowed the Floribama Boyz to hit Zechariah with the Floribama Slamma (3D) for the three-count pinfall.

5.3 out of 10 stars.

We cut to the interviewing area, where Chloe Martinez is interviewing Lord Phillip Byron IV. His lordship says that he wishes to have an audience with Prince Kimo about what happened to Kahuna Maiavia and to tell his side of the story.

7.3 out of 10 stars for this segment: Solid segment from his lordship.

We cut back to the ring.

Announcer: Our main event is scheduled for...

Crowd: ONE FALL!!!

Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" plays in the arena.

Announcer: Introducing first, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he is "Big" Jake Odenkirk.

Marilyn Manson's "Disposable Teens" plays in the arena.

Announcer: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Lilith, from Hell, Michigan, he is Damien Angel.

Main Event: "Big" Jake Odenkirk vs. Damien Angel

A good ol'-fashioned match of two big meaty men slapping meat. Both competitors threw everything at each other, from clotheslines and stiff forearms to suplexes, dropkicks, and even diving cross bodies. A big brawl spilled outside of the ring, causing Lilith to get involved. Cassie Odenkirk would interfere in the match, helping her brother by fighting off Lilith. The referee threw the match, declaring a double count-out.

7.5 out of 10 stars.

We cut to a graphic confirming that we will hear from Prince Kimo.

***Commercial Break***

Brian Kinsley: This weekend, CPWA Independent Rebellion comes to you live from Seattle, Washington. Ten matches are on the card, including Prince Kimo defending the CPWA World Heavyweight Championship against Lord Phillip Byron IV. Next Wednesday, CPWA will be in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, for Octane.

Connor Price and Haviah Mighty's "Trendsetter" plays in the arena as Prince Kimo and Johnny Paganiban make their way to the ring. Prince Kimo and Johnny Paganiban enter the ring as Kimo grabs a microphone.

Prince Kimo: Last week, my uce, Kahuna Maiavia was taken out during a wild brawl involving five factions! One of those factions just happened to be the Commonwealth, and speaking of them, I heard that my opponent for Independent Rebellion, Lord Phillip Byron IV, wants to have an audience with me. Why don't you come on out and speak your so-called truth, Lord Phillip Byron IV.

Blue Blood plays in the arena as Lord Phillip Byron IV makes his way to the ring. His lordship enters the ring and grabs a microphone.

Lord Phillip Byron IV: Clearly, you still believe that I had something to do with Kahuna Maiavia being assaulted. I can assure you that I did call him over to speak pleasantries regarding our title match, but never once did I lay a finger on him.

The promo is interrupted as Salute The Heroes plays in the arena as "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson appears on the entrance stage.

"Marvelous" Marshall Anderson: Are you really going to believe what that lying blowhard says? For all we know, he may have told his lapdogs to do his bidding. Kimo, I know you don't have the best judgment, but seeing as the Commonwealth holds much of the gold in CPWA, what makes you think he doesn't have a plan to take your gold as well?

10 STARS FOR THIS SEGMENT!!!!!

Prince Kimo gets in the face of Lord Phillip Byron IV, verbally laying into him, while Johnny Paganiban looks on. Suddenly, members of the Marvelous Alliance slide into the ring, assaulting Kimo, Paganiban, and his lordship. The beatdown continues as "the Marvelous One" enters the ring and joins in. The rest of the Commonwealth, and even the Number 1 Cartel, rush to make the save, but the Marvelous Alliance exit the ring and up the ramp. "Marvelous" Marshall Anderson looks on, seeing the prone Kimo, Paganiban, and Lord Phillip Byron IV as Octane fades to black.

10 STARS FOR THIS SEGMENT!!!!!

Does anyone have good methods for getting people over consistently? TEWIX

I recently started a modern WWE game and in my first post show press conference I was called out for most of my stars being old. That motivated me to begin pushing younger talent. However I never really cracked the code on how to do that.

I’ve also been running a 98 WWF game where I was able to get Auston and Big Show 10-15 more pop in a few weeks and I have no clue how I pulled that off.

I know if I book people in matches and segments higher than their popularity they’ll get a boost but, when there match ratings are affected by popularity it does make it tether difficult to get good ratings. I also know I could feed a more over star to them to get a boost I don’t want to damage other guys though.
I remember in EWR you finish a feud and everyone involved would get a boost. In time you could just run a bunch of feuds and get a lot of guys to 100 pop. I have always wondered with TEW if there was an easy method to boost guys?

PWS Universes

Been playing TEW for a while and just picked up PWS. I'm someone who enjoys playing in fantasy universes more. Are there any recommendations on the Steam Workshop for decent PWS universes that aren't based on reality?

Images included with the universe would be a bonus!

Any Advice On How To Stick to a save on TEW?

I just started back playing tew with a 2011 save and had grand plans but now I got bored with what I had and having to build for the next and upcoming weeks. Now I want to do an invasion save and have a whole layout that sounds more exciting. I’m not sure what to do though? Has anyone ever felt like this before where they can’t decide between multiple saves to focus on. Ideally I’d like to focus on one save to milk the most out of it creative wise but ideas for different saves always feel fresh and intriguing to work on. What should I do?

would you play a weird fantasy mod?

I'm making a Fantasy mod set in a universe very similar to the one of the anime GATE where japan finds a portal to a fantasy world, while the original anime focuses on warfare this mod focuses on the introduction of this strange new form of entretainment to the region, focused more on story telling as there are many events both inside and outside the new business. Would you all be interesting in playing something like that?

How to book both World Titles heading into WrestleMania 43

WWE Undisputed Championship:

WWE loves the pattern of having wrestlers get their victory back after losing to someone in a major feud. Following this logic, along with Cody’s alternating WrestleMania win/loss record since coming back, Cody should turn heel and defeat CM Punk at SummerSlam for the title and have his little reign of terror. Then at WrestleMania 43, Punk gets that win back for the championship. It fits Cody’s Mania cycle and gives Punk the massive WrestleMania title victory he hasn't gotten since returning.

World Heavyweight Championship:

Applying that same logic where a challenger eventually gets their redemption, Roman should retain at SummerSlam and beat Oba Femi in their initial title match. Drew McIntyre screws Oba over, leading into a side feud between them through Survivor Series. Oba then wins the Royal Rumble to earn a WrestleMania rematch against Roman—where he gets his win back, and takes the belt.

I'd love to get people's thoughts on the 'Four Kings' concept in my USPW save / diary.

Post image
2 Upvotes

I believe it opens up routes to four thrones, rather than having just one Championship to aim for. Some wrestlers on the roster will want to lead "The Business" stable and replace Rich Money. Some will want to continue Enygma's legacy. Some will believe that Nicky Champion's honour and respectful approach is soft etc.

The four kings are:

Nicky Champion - King of Honour
Enygma - King of Mystery
Rich Money - King of Power
Steve Frehley - King of Destruction

The signings I've made have direct routes to these four thrones, and not all of them will still be Kings by the time Independence Day Slam! comes around in July...!!

Enygma and Money are 46, and winding down... Steve Frehley's aura is waning, after he's getting petty and more sneaky... and while Champion is Champion... and is a 7-time Champion...

He has threats from all sides... including... someone behind him...

What would you do if the star you developed wanted to leave?

Guys, I'm managing WCW in the HCTM mod in TEW IX, we're currently in Aug 2003, things are going really well and everything is great.

I relaunched the nWo storyline in mid-2001 and things really started looking up, I brought Tylene Buck known as Major Gunns back onto the roster, aiming to utilize her for her sex appeal much like how WWE used Sable to boost ratings.

Within two years, Tylene gained immense popularity as an NWO valet and became a genuine sex symbol; at the same time, thanks to her low cost contract, she generated significant merchandise revenue for me.

We began negotiations because his contract was expiring and it was a real challenge; while she had been earning only $88,000 a year under his old contract, she was now seeking a base salary of $2 million annually. WWE offered her a contract at $2.5 million per year and Wage Marching, whereas my offer was a three year deal at $1.8 million per year.

I have women like Torrie Wilson, Stacy Keibler, Angel Williams and Jackie Gayda on my roster; frankly, I don't want to spend a significant amount of money on Tylene but at the same time, I don't want to lose her because she brings tremendous value in terms of merchandise sales and ratings boost.

At the same time, I wouldn't want to lose the most valuable woman on my roster to WWE it's a matter of prestige. What would you do?

What Fantasy Booking game can get the most granular?

So, at this point, I have about 250 hours in Total Extreme Wrestling 2013. I also have about 40 hours in Comic Book Hero: The Greatest Cape. I really like this type of game! However, I want more. I come to you good people of r/FantasyBookers to ask for your expertise on this subject.

This is just going to be a wishlist of things I would like to have in a game, so if you're not interested in that, there's nothing else worth reading for you in this post. Here are the things I want in a booking game:

I want to be able to plot out the match move-by-move. Failing that, I'd like to at least be able to write specific spots in the match. In TEW 2013, it only tells you what the final move of the match was. That's not enough! I'm crazy and would like to plan out the fights.

I want to be able to have a smaller roster. I like to make rosters filled with fictional characters and try to recreate events from those franchises, like the Budokai Tenkaichi from DBZ (moderate success). I also like to make wrestling companies filled with just my friends. Doing that, I can fill one and maybe two companies rosters. I sadly do not have enough friends to fill companies in every region in TEW. This makes the game world seem very empty. I'd like a game that is more able to feel like the world doesn't have huge holes in it with a roster of like ~20 people.

On that note, I also want to be able to create more moves! TEW 2013 lets you add a move list, and it has a lot of parameters for where the moves are possible, but the only types are Impact, Pinfall, and Submission. That's great for wrestling, but as I like to add more fantasy elements, I want more. Comic Book Hero has one of the greatest move creation systems I've ever seen, for one.

Basically, I'd like to know two things from people with a lot of experience with these games:

  1. Do the later iterations of TEW offer any of these possibilities or at least more customization?

  2. If not, are there any other games that would offer these things?

Thank you for your time.

Jacob Fatu interfered in the steel cage match to go after Drew McIntyre, who attacked him last year, but ended up inadvertently attacking Cody and costing him the match, enabling Drew to escape and win the title.

Earlier in the month, The Rock challenged Roman Reigns to a match at the Royal Rumble to see who the tribal chief will be, but Roman chose instead to enter the Royal Rumble match. The Rock then warned he would make him pay for turning down the match and caused him to be eliminated when Roman as among the final three. Oba Femi made it into the final four. LA Knight last eliminated Brock Lesnar to win the Rumble.

I think I accidentally made Crusader Kings with wrestling.

So I've been working on a TEW IX save, and somewhere along the way I realized I wasn't really building a wrestling promotion anymore. I was building a country that just happens to solve most of its problems through wrestling. It's TNA 2004, with a Crusader Kings twist.

The biggest thing I wanted to get away from was the idea that factions only exist to interfere in matches. In almost every promotion, factions form, someone gets kicked out, someone turns heel, the group breaks up, rinse and repeat.

I wanted factions to actually matter.

In my universe, every wrestler belongs to a House. Think of them as a mixture of a stable, a political party, a noble family and a nation. Houses are the institutions that run the promotion.

At the start of the universe there are five Houses.

Great Houses

These are the oldest and most powerful institutions in the company.

Planet Jarrett

  • Jeff Jarrett (Leader)
  • Ron Killings (Deputy)
  • Samoa Joe (Heir)
  • Chris Harris
  • James Storm
  • Frankie Kazarian
  • Desire
  • Goldylocks

The Flock

  • Raven (Leader)
  • Low Ki (Deputy)
  • Father James Mitchell
  • Sabu
  • Abyss
  • Amazing Red

The New Franchise

  • Shane Douglas (Leader)
  • Christopher Daniels (Deputy)
  • Michael Shane (Heir)
  • BG James
  • Jerry Lynn
  • D'Lo Brown
  • Traci

Then there are the newer Houses.

Successor Houses

Straight Edge Society

  • CM Punk (Leader)
  • Mark Briscoe (Deputy)
  • Jay Briscoe
  • Petey Williams
  • Teddy Hart
  • Jack Evans
  • Glenn Gilberti

Freefall

  • Jeff Hardy (Leader)
  • AJ Styles
  • Konnan
  • Kid Kash
  • Essa Rios
  • The Sandman

The interesting part is that the Houses don't all follow the same constitutional rules.

Every Great House has an appointed Heir.

If the Leader retires, dies or permanently leaves the company, leadership automatically passes to the Heir. There's no election, tournament or power struggle. The succession is already decided.

So if Jeff Jarrett retires, Samoa Joe automatically becomes Leader of Planet Jarrett.

If Shane Douglas retires, Michael Shane inherits The New Franchise. The fun part is that Michael Shane is actually planned to be a terrible leader. He inherits the House completely legitimately, but slowly drives it into the ground through bad decisions until he eventually resigns years later. I like the idea that legality doesn't necessarily mean competence.

The Founders of the original Great Houses have one unique constitutional privilege.

They cannot be removed from office.

Ever.

Jeff Jarrett can't be voted out of Planet Jarrett.

Raven can't be removed from The Flock.

Shane Douglas can't be overthrown in The New Franchise.

If the members decide they've gone too far, there isn't an impeachment process.

Their only option is to dissolve the entire House.

That means every member immediately becomes unaffiliated. (And that comes with massive consequences, stay tuned).

I thought that created a much more interesting dilemma than simply replacing a leader. Imagine spending ten years helping build one of the greatest Houses in history, only to reach the point where your choices are either continuing to follow its Founder or destroying everything you've all built together.

There are always exactly three Great Houses.

If one of them dissolves, the oldest surviving Successor House is promoted to Great House status. The institutions survive across generations even though the names eventually change.

The entire wrestling system also revolves around this structure.

Championships aren't just individual accomplishments. They're political victories.

If AJ Styles wins the X Division Championship, Freefall becomes more influential.

If Christopher Daniels and Jerry Lynn win the Tag Titles, The New Franchise gains prestige.

If Jarrett retains the World Championship, Planet Jarrett continues to dominate the political landscape.

Even temporary alliances become political rather than personal.

The thing I'm probably most excited about is a storyline that's planned to run for around two years.

CM Punk eventually discovers that Raven is actually his biological father. The reveal completely destroys both men psychologically and eventually ends with The Flock being constitutionally dissolved. That doesn't just end a faction. It permanently changes the world. The Flock disappears forever. Its members become unaffiliated.

Straight Edge Society is promoted to Great House status. The balance of power shifts for the rest of the save.

There's another layer to all of this that I think is what makes the universe feel alive. (Thank you for staying tuned)

Every wrestler exists within a constitutional hierarchy.

Nobody starts out as a member of a House.

Everyone begins their career as a Young Lion.

Young Lions are essentially apprentices. During their first three years as professional wrestlers, they aren't considered full members of society yet. They can't join Houses, can't challenge for championships and simply spend their time learning the craft.

Once those three years are over, they enter what is called The Selection.

The Selection is exactly what it sounds like.

Every House Leader has the opportunity to recruit these graduates into their own House. Some prospects spark bidding wars, while others may wait months before someone finally decides they're worth taking a chance on. Every 6 months a "Selection" round robin tournament is held - and 4 wrestlers scoring the worst are fired, and banned for life from TNA. They can never return. The Selection is the most precarious position for a wrestler to be in.

The moment a wrestler is chosen by a House, they become a Citizen.

Citizenship is what grants a wrestler their political identity.

Citizens can represent a House, compete for championships, vote on internal House matters and fully participate in the world. Until then, they're simply prospects waiting for someone to believe in them.

The interesting part comes later in a wrestler's career.

If someone is expelled from their House, they don't lose their Citizenship immediately.

Instead, they become an Unaffiliated Citizen.

They're still a citizen of TNA, but they no longer have a political home.

From there they have one year to either convince another House to recruit them or successfully establish a brand-new Successor House.

If they fail to do either within that year, their Citizenship expires and they're sent back into The Selection, where they once again have to hope somebody is willing to give them another chance.

That means every wrestler is constantly moving through a living social system.

Young Lion.

Selection.

Citizen.

Unaffiliated Citizen (if expelled).

Either recruited into a new House... Start their own if the other House Leaders agree,

or returned to The Selection if nobody wants them. And then, who knows, maybe even removed for life (murder scheme initiated lol)

Kinda following IRL booking in the main event scene. But Big Show wasn't ready and I think Owen desevered a run with the belt for a month. He will drop it to Goldberg at Armagedon, then Goldberg will drop it back to Trips.

I'm going to have an unforgivable amount of fun turning AJ into El Hijo de Sweet Tooth.

The tournament is finally over. I put all 93 playable wrestlers into one big tournament to see who would win. And of course it was the person i didn’t want to 😒 but it was still fun. I may do this with another game if people enjoyed this one.
