Moderator Announcement New Moderator

Hello everyone!

I have been on this subreddit for awhile and just yesterday I was added as a new moderator since u/PeterHolland has become somewhat pre-occupied with personal matters and is unable to give this subreddit as much attention as they used too.

I do not intend to be moderator for long. Ideally, I want to occupy this position for no more than a year so that I can make some minor changes to the subreddit. I intend for these changes to improve the image of the subreddit so that I can hopefully convince the moderators of either r/AO3 or r/FantasyWorldbuilding to take over this subreddit. If this effort fails, I will step down as moderator in 1 year or less and hand the subreddit over to a minimum of 2 new moderators.

Fan-Fiction world-building is very niche and the current state of this subreddit reflects that. Although we have about 2,400+ members, most posts on here do not receive anything more than a couple of upvotes and this indicates to me that there is either too much low-effort content on this subreddit or that most of the members are actually bots ( this last one is very likely ).

Whatever the case, this subreddit is in need of some professional moderation that I do not believe I can provide long term. By connecting this subreddit to either of the aforementioned subreddits, it would bring in more traffic and more experienced mods.

Anyway, over the next month. I will be making some changes to the subreddit which will go as follow.

-

Firstly: The tagging system will be updated and simplified as it seems like most of the user base either can't figure out how it works or they just don't care to learn and have decided to make up their own rules. Under the new tagging system, tags will only be used to specify the nature of the post ( Discussion, Question, Meta, Art etc. ) instead of what I.P ( Intellectual Property ) the post is affiliated with.

HOWEVER, all posts will need to contain a clear and coherent statement as to what I.P's they concern. There have been several instances of people posting original world-building here and this genuinely confuses me as there are several dedicated subreddits for original world-building that are larger and of higher quality than this one. How you go about specifying what I.P your post is attached too is up to you, it just needs to be sensible to the user-base. If anyone here comes across a post that they feel is incomprehensible or of low effort, you are encouraged to report it.

Any posts made within the last month that do not meet the current tagging requirements will be removed so that there is an easy transition between the old rules and the new. If your post is effected by this, feel free to repost it properly under the current tagging system.

-

Secondly: Crossposting will be disabled as I feel that when the subject matter is of a creative nature, people should not be required to jump between two subreddit's to understand what they are looking at.

Thirdly: Context will be required in all posts going forward. If you are posting artwork, you must explain what the artwork is depicting and if your post is related to a world-building project, you need to explain what your project is in the post so that people can familiarize themselves with your work instead of asking for basic information each time you post.

Fourthly: In order to prevent spam, all users will be limited to making one post per day. This is already a fairly normal standard on many subreddits.

All of these changes will go into effect on January 1st, 2025.

-

If any of my decisions come off as draconic, I would like to explain my methodology behind them.

I am of the opinion that fan-fiction is a valid form of art that deserves to be taken seriously and I am fully convinced that the mass hatred against fan-fiction is the byproduct of the public psyche being poisoned by corporate propaganda.

Because fan-fiction is widely viewed as being an inferior or degenerate form of art and fan-fiction. Fan-fiction writers have a responsibility to go above and beyond and work twice as hard to get our hobby noticed and taken seriously. The only way to pull this off is for fan-fiction writers to encourage high effort amongst each-other by being critical of low effort work ( within reasonable means ) in settings where it is appropriate.

-

Anyway that's all I have for now. Please let me know what you think or share any other ideas you have for the subreddit.

Moderator Announcement Subreddit Update: Everyone can post again!

Greetings and salutations to all,

Recently I was contacted by a Redditor asking to post on this subreddit. I was quite confused as I never set it up to be a restrictive subreddit and remember changing the settings to be as open as possible.

However, for some time now the subreddit has been on restrictive postings.

I would like to apologise to all those who have not been able to post here as a result. These were not my intentions. As a moderator, my only hope is to keep this an open and friendly space for people across the internet. People who wish to world-building in any media they enjoy, even if it's in an already popularize franchise or property.

in the future please let me know if you are having issues with the subreddit settings and I will endeavor to make it more user-friendly for all of us.

Thank you.

Lore Dump Workshopping a Mario AU about a morally take on Peach. Concept quickly spiraled into a more complicated world building project for the entire Mario setting

Post image
65 Upvotes

Prunus Persica

-This is my pitch for an AU retelling of the Mario franchise focused around a Morally Gray Princess Peach who manipulates things from the background in order to protect and sustain the Mushroom Kingdom.

-In this AU the Toadstool family is distantly related to the Ancients featured in SPM(My reasoning is because a descendant, Merlon, has a chest in his in PM64 that connects to a chest in Peach's castle, a chest that Peach states has been there for generations).

-In my AU the Toad species were originally Mushroom nature spirits who were the elemental incarnations of fungi. They were drained of their Magical nature when the Black Jewel First awoke and cursed them (Inspired by the fact that in Canon, the Black Jewel was opposed and sealed away by the Spritelings, another species of nature fairies). Over generations, they degenerated from magical beings to more physical, biological beings. (inspired by Folkloric connections between Mushrooms and Fae). The Mushroom Genie from Mario Party 2 and the Mushroom Jeanie Mario Party 3 are members of the species who weren't fully cursed.

-Toads share a species-wide phobia of reindeer because they eat mushrooms in real life.

-The ancient Toads had their own form of Magic called "Vimomancy". It involved channeling the unique life essence that the Toad body contains for Druidic Magical rituals (This concept is inspired by "Vim", the life essence of toads from Mario & Luigi: Partners in time). Vimomancy has mostly died out because of how the Human Toadstool Dynasty brought Astrolatry to them. It still has some Toads who can still use it. For example in Mario Sports Mix, Toad can summon Mushrooms, in my AU, this is Vimomancy. This magic ties back to the species' Fairy origins. An important figure in Vimomancy is the Great Mushroom Spirit (The entity that appears in the Mario Party 6 board "Castaway Bay"). It is a subject of debate amongst Astrolatry based religions if Vimomancy is Heretical or if it can co-exist. Dr. Toadley is Pro Vimomancy.

The Mushroom Kingdom has supernaturally healthy soil due to all the types of mushrooms that grow. (Fungi in real life enrich the soil)

-2,000 years ago the Mushroom Imperium was founded when a bunch of Toad Tribes and clans were united under the leadership of the Human minority that inhabited the lands amongst the Toad majority. This family lead by "Princess Kunmin"(She comes from the place that would become known as "Water Land" in Super Mario Bros 3) united the toads in order to fight of the hoards of evil spirits created by the Black Jewel From Wario world(i got this idea because It is stated in this games lore that in ancient past, the Black Jewel nearly wiped out all civilization as it flooded the world with its evil spirits.). This Black Jewel also wielded a primordial and pure dark magic that would later become known as "Hex Magic". This left a heavy anti-Dark magic sentiment amongst the Imperium.

  • 1,900 years ago The Second Princess of the Mushroom Imperium "Princess Momo" (From Mario Artist: Talent Studio) She comes from the place that would become known as "Water Land" in Super Mario Bros 3. She led the Imperium in a war against "Maō"(From Mario Artist: Talent Studio) Maō originated from the Demon Realm (The Same one that Ashley from Wario Ware Visits) and came to the realm of the Mushroom Imperium in order to gain the secrets of this "Wish Magic" that he'd heard of. He briefly kidnaps Princess Momo for magical experimentation but she is freed by the legendary hero "Yūsha Rui" (From Mario Artist: Talent Studio) who with help from the Princess, Slays Maō with his Legendary Star imbued blade called the "Star Power Sword". After this Princess Momo initiated the tradition that all future Princesses will be trained in the arts of Wish Magic. This conflict would later become known as the "Incursion War".

-1,700 years ago in the Past of my AU, the Mushroom Imperium received visitors from another realm. The White Spixie Princess( In my AU, the Sprixie Kingdom is in another dimension. My reasoning is that (1) we see the sprixie Kingdom from space & the planet it's on doesn't look like Mario's. (2) we see green stars all over the place in the sprixie Kingdom and Green stars, according to Mario Galaxy, are almost exclusively found in space.(3) this parallels the Folkloric concept of the "Kaleidoscope" and Fae Courts. ) This particular sprixie Princess was drawn to the Mushroom Imperium because of their incredible Warp Pipe building skills (The Travel Brochure for the Mushroom Kingdom in Mario Odyssey states that their biggest export is Warp pipes.). The White Sprixie Princess came to observe the Mushroom Imperiums best Pipe Maker. This happened to be Prince Coral, the Younger brother of Princess Monroe (Princess Monroe and Prince Coral came from what would be known as Pipeland in from Super Mario Bros 3). After spending quite a bit of time observing Prince Coral, the White Sprixie Princess fell deeply in love with the prince. The feeling was reciprocal but not approved by Princess Monroe. Later, Coral and the White Spixie Princess eloped and went back to the Sprixie Kingdom. Part of Coral's motivation was that he wasn't in line for the throne, being a prince. Deeply hurt, Princess Monroe had the clear Warp pipe entrance to the Sprixie Kingdom damaged and rendered unusable. This is why that pipe was damaged and had to be repaired by Mario and Luigi in Super Mario 3D world.

  • 1,600 years ago, the Mushroom Imperium appointed Astrolatry as the official state religion after Princess Salem wished upon the Star Spirits to revive her dying husband, King "Oldmixon" and they granted her pure hearted wish.

-About 900 years ago The Kingdoms Princess, "Princess Frost"(She was from the place called Ice Land in Super Mario Bros 3), initiated the "Heart Crusade". She had observed how the Turtle Tribe(What the Koopa troop was known as at the time) were expanding and absorbing various species into their empire whose capital was the Dark Lands. Frost, who had a deep and spiritual connection to Wish magic, saw the Turtle Tribe as a threat to Wish Magic's continued prominence, as they were known for their Dark Hex Magic (inspired by Super Mario Bros 1 instruction booklet saying they were "Known for their Dark Magic"). Frost was also concerned that The Mushroom Imperium was next on the menu for the Turtle Tribes conquest, which was actually true. Princess Frost declared a Crusade and was joined by the kingdom's two biggest allies, the Beanbean Kingdom(From Mario& Luigi Superstar saga), the Flower kingdom (From Super Mario Wonder) and Jewelry Land (From Yoshi Safari) . Frost promised that the alliance could split up the Dark Lands territories if they were successful. King Bibinbak, the then reigning leader of the Turtle Tribe smashed the Crusades and wiped them out. Bibinbak didn't have numbers, but he did have more diverse minions, who were more used to cooperating and knew the Dark Lands like the back of their hand. The Heart Crusades were an unmitigated disaster as the alliance retreated. This incident would begin a perpetual conflict between the later Mushroom Kingdom and The Koopa Troop.

-800 years ago, the Toadstool family ruled a massive empire that shattered when they got into a conflict over which type of magic should be used. The two competing magic types were "Wish Magic"(Peach called the Positive emotion based magic connected with hearts she used in M&L : Dream Team , "Wish Power". I Also made this connection because the Ancients created the "Pure hearts" which are heart shaped relics that embody positive emotions. ) and wand based "Hex Magic"(Hex Magic is the same stuff that Kamek and the Koopalings use through their wands). The Mushroom Imperium Collapsed with the Toadstool family establishing the "Mushroom Kingdom" of modern times and the Various fragments of the Imperium becoming the domain of the Mushroom kings from Super Mario Bros 3 . This conflict would be known as the "Pruning War".

  • The build up to the Pruning War was seeded by several things converging. First was growing resentment against Wish Power by certain members of the Imperium. After the Heart Crusade, the Imperium became more staunchly pro-Wish Magic to a dogmatic degree. Some of the rulers under the empire were intrigued by Hex Magic after seeing the Turtle Tribes success with it.

-The next thing that contributed to the Pruning War was the fact that the Toadstool dynasty had actively used the massive amounts of imperial wealth to decadently build up what would become the Mushroom Kingdom. The Toadstools at this time constantly built expensive castles and monuments, threw lavish parties, constructed huge chariot and horse racing stadiums and bankrolled empire wide tournaments. Said tournaments incorporated sports like Tennis, Golf and Soccer (Loosely inspired by how Peach seems to host the various Mario spin offs like Karting and Sports and that "The Palace" stage From Mario Strikers is stated in the North American Instruction manual to have been a palace that Peach's ancestors lived in). The Toadstools also commissioned tons of art. The Toadstools became more interested in the wealth of the Empire than actually ruling it.

-The Last seed for the Pruning War was planted when by a freak accident of genetics, all three daughters of the current Princess, "Princess Mira", were born without the ability to wield Wish Magic. After the Heart Crusade, A Princess having Wish Magic went from a tradition to a requirement for being crowned. The Toadstools had actively married into families that had high potential for Wish Magic to maintain their status. This meant that Princess Mira's daughters would be seen as illegitimate if they took the throne. In the Mushroom Imperium there were three great Toadstools Dynasty Branches, The House Palmatus (Peach's and Mira's ancestors), House Cremini (Maple's ancestors), and House Aerugin.

Lore Dump Star Wars AU - Kyber Crystals

Kyber Crystals

The most common type of lightsaber crystal. Kyber crystals are found on multiple planets in the Illum system, especially in Illum itself. It was the main source of lightsaber crystals for the Jedi Order before it's collapse. After the collapse of the Empire and the rise of the New Republic, it started to be used again as force sensitives were no longer persecuted. All Kyber crystals are connected to the light side, with some exceptions. Every force sensitive has their own designated Kyber crystal, as long as they don't stray into the dark side, and are called to the planet by the tremors it causes in the Force. The crystal each force sensitive is attracted to is based on both their destiny and their own personality. When a force sensitive finds their Kyber crystal, they can bond with it. Bonding can also be done with any other lightsaber crystal, but it is significantly harder to do. The process of bonding empowers the crystal and makes more in tune with the user.

There are three types of Kyber crystal. First, and most common, are the Illum Kyber crystals, which come from the planet Illum. Most Jedi are pulled to this place to find their designated crystal, so younglings were sent here as part of their initiation into Padawans during the days of the Jedi order. These crystals come in green or blue colours, with some slight variations. The second type of Kyber crystal is the Agnistol Kyber crystal, named after the Agnistol of the planet Agnis. The Agnistol are a race of rock-like beings native to the planet. They are naturally force sensitive and were closely allied with the Jedi Order before it's destruction. On very rare occasions, a youngling would be sent to this planet if they felt a pull to a specific crystal. It's here they will undergo trials set by the Agnistol, with them being given a crystal. These crystals used to be used more often, but due to being for individuals with a darker side, they became increasingly rare as the Jedi Order started to expunge more darker tendencies through indoctrination. Since then, only the staunchest Jedi still got an Agnistol crystal, such as Mace Windu. These come in purple and magenta colours.

The third type of Kyber crystals are unique, as while they are still in tune with the light side, they are much more neutral, meaning they don't attract any force sensitives. They are known as Puwlios Kyber crystals, after the planet they originate on. In the days of the High Republic, younglings who didn't feel a connection to any Kyber crystal would be sent here to get one. However, this often meant they weren't in tune with the light side, and thus this stopped happening when the Jedi Order started using indoctrination to remove all risks of succumbing to the dark side. These crystals were still used for non-bonding purposes, such as in the generational lightsabers of the Guardian houses or as back up lightsabers. These come in yellow and orange colours.

Kyber Crystal Colours

Natural Colours

These are the natural colours that are associated with the light side of the force.

  • Blue - The most common colour. Those who are more energetic and outgoing get these crystals. There are four shades of blue that can be found, which are cyan, light blue, blue, and indigo. The lighter the colour, the more peaceful the user. Blue was designated to Jedi warriors, who fought when diplomacy was not an option. While most older and wiser Jedi had got a green crystal, as it was their destiny to be a more peaceful and wise Jedi, some do still get a blue lightsaber. Warriors who grow to be wise typically have a cloudy blue lightsaber. This is the only case of Kyber crystals actively changing with their user, as their colour is otherwise fixed based on the force user.
  • Green - Another common colour, especially among the more powerful Jedi. This colour is for those with a deeper connection to the light side, meaning most individuals with this colour are much calmer and level-headed. Due to this, those with this colour became sages in the Jedi Order, who acted as diplomats and teachers rather than fighters. There is a very rare variation of this colour, which is yellow-green. While the nature of this colour is largely unknown, it is speculated to be for calm individuals who are more willing to fight to protect the ones they love.
  • Purple - A very rare colour in the Jedi Order, but more common during the High and New Republic eras. This colour is for those who are much more hot-headed and hostile, preferring to fight rather than talk. Users of this colour tend to operate on the line between light and dark, using darkside techniques and darker force abilities without actually using the darkside. Those with this colour were once given the intercessor role, which gave them special training to be assassins, generals, or elite police forces, deployed when more force was needed. However, ever since the civil war that ended the High Republic era, the Jedi Order has cracked down on techniques and tactics, ruthlessly indoctrinating those who are more hot-headed. Now the role of Intercessor is all but gone, with those few who got the colour being considered warriors.
  • Yellow - A common colour in the Jedi Order, but one that was almost never seen outside the Jedi Temple. They were initially given to those who couldn't connect with another Kyber crystal to bond with, but since younglings who didn't have a designated Kyber Crystal weren't in tune with the light side, this became obsolete. In the later days of the Jedi Order, these were used in the Lightsaber Pikes of the Jedi Temple Guard, being passed down rather than built by the user.

Corrupted Colours

These are natural colours that are still in tune with the light side, but also have a connection to the dark side.

  • Magenta - A colour that was never seen in the latter centuries of the Jedi Order, but was prominent in the High Republic era. Holders of this colour had the same darker nature as those who had the purple colour, but without the inhibitions that kept them from flirting too much with the dark side. As such, users of this colour often used the dark side, but did so for good intentions. While the Jedi Order knew the dangers of the dark side, they still tolerated these Jedi, with them being known as Dark scholars, helping the Jedi Order harness the power of the dark side for good. However, when the civil war broke out, the Jedi abandoned this plan, banning all use of the dark side. After this, the few who still got a magenta coloured crystal were exiled.
  • Orange - Another very rare colour in the Jedi Order. This was once used for the same purpose as the yellow coloured crystals, but were phased out after the civil war. Due to being more connected to the dark side, they weren't used for the Temple Guard, but were still found in the spare lightsabers of certain Jedi.

Unnatural Colours

These colours cannot be found naturally, and are instead only possible through interference.

  • Red - As Kyber crystals are naturally connected to the light side, they require connection to the light side to bond with, even if that connection is very minimal, such as in the Puwlios Kyber crystals. This means that the Sith and other dark side users couldn't bond with them, so they had to find other methods of doing so. The main way of doing this was the process of bleeding, which was often done on a lightsaber taken from a fallen Jedi. Bleeding involves pouring dark side energy into the crystal until it corrupts, a process that is very difficult and intense. However, if done on a corrupted crystal, the process is much easier, but yields an orange-red colour. Those with this colour are frowned upon by the Sith, as it is seen as a sign of weakness due to it being easier to do. Due to this, the orange-red colour is only seen in non-Sith Dark Side users.
  • White - Through the use of the light side, it is possible to reverse the bleeding process. This is known as purifying, turning a red crystal into a white crystal. This is often used by neutral force users, but it can also be found in light side users.
  • Tempered/Clear - A Kyber crystal can be tempered through blacksmithing, requiring an intense heat and a lot of physical force. The result is a completely clear Kyber crystal that holds no colour at all. Due to this lack of colour, it reflects the soul of whoever holds it, changing colour depending on the user. These colours reflect the same meaning as the natural colours with red representing connection to the dark side, but are fluid. For example, someone with a purple colour could turn the blade red if overcome with enough rage. This was never used by the Jedi Order, but certain force sensitives do make use of such crystals

Artwork + Lore Dump Rise of the Guardians: Rewrite - The Hat Man.

For a little while now, I have been working on a rewrite of Rise of the Guardians ( 2012 ) and I'd like to share something I've come up with for this project of mine.

In my opinion, ROTG is a beautiful movie but it has several weak points that prevented it from seeing the same level of success that Dreamwork's other animated films between the late 2000s and early 2010s ( Kung Fu Panda, HTTYD, The Croods etc. ) saw.

One of ROTG's weak points ( once more, in my opinion ) was the movie's main antagonist, Pitch Black AKA "The Nightmare King".

To put it simply, I think that Pitch is boring. His design is dull and un-inspiring and his behavior and evil plot are both edgy and clichéd. He had several cooler concept designs during the development stage of ROTG and his original version in William Joyce's Guardians of Childhood books is more interesting but I wanted to go a completely different direction with my rewrite.

-

In my ROTG Rewrite, I have replaced Pitch with a character named "Hatty". Hatty's name comes from the fact that he is an adaptation of the legendary "Hat Man".

If you are not familiar with this entity. The "Hat Man" is a several decades-old urban legend wherein hundreds to thousands of people around the world have claimed to have nightmares of a distinct shadowy figure standing at their bedside or in the corner of their bedroom for a minute or so before vanishing. This figure is almost always described as a pitch black silhouette of a presumably masculine person whose only identifying features is a long coat or cape and a hat of varying types ( hence the name ).

It is often and incorrectly believed that The Hat Man is a "creepypasta" and/or modern invention. This is only because the entity achieved notoriety in the late 2000s but the earliest confirmed sightings of the Hat Man date back to 1962.

People who have seen the Hat Man tend to suffer from sleep disorders such as sleep paralysis. For this reason, the Hat Man has become known to the modern internet as the quintessential "Sleep Paralysis Demon".

Hat Man sightings have also been linked to overdosages of Benadryl, Ibuprofen and LSD.

Logically, the Hat Man is probably nothing more than a collective hallucination. Related "Shadow People" have been documented for millennia and the Hat Man is simply the product of the collective human psyche updating Shadow People to fit modern fashion senses.

-

As for why I have replaced Pitch with the Hat Man?

Pitch is supposed to be the boogeyman and unlike Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Jack Frost and SandMan, there is no common cultural consensus for what the boogeyman should look like.

I think the visage of the Hat Man works very well as a form for the boogeyman.

-

My ideal design for Pitch/The Hat Man in my ROTG rewrite would be this:

Art by WildDragon on Tumblr, this art piece has no relation to my writing projects

-

In my ROTG rewrite, the Guardians are a group of supernatural entities that were created by The Moon, which is not a natural satellite but actually a living entity and member of a species of cosmic beings that mortals perceive as the celestial bodies around Earth. These entities, who are known simply as "The Spheres" created Earth to function as a prison for an ancient cosmic evil and in the process of doing so, they sacrificed significant chunks of their power which resulted in them assuming a semi-catatonic state. The moon is the least catatonic of the spheres and for this reason, it orbits Earth as an eternal guard.

The evolution of life on Earth following it's creation by the Spheres was a complete accident and the ancient evil sealed within Earth does influence Earth's native life. The Guardians were created by The Moon to subtly steer humanity away from the ancient evil's influence.

All of the Guardians began as humans or animals that were elevated into Guardian-hood by the Moon. As entities, the Guardians are essentially "psychic ghosts" that cannot be perceived by humans but they influence their psyches through actions.

-

WildDragon's fanart of the Hat Man appears to be wearing a type of hat known as a "Gambler Hat". In addition to this, a few psychologists have theorized that the Hat Man's emergence in the human psyche could be linked to wild west TV shows which were popular when he started appearing.

With these two details in mind, I envision Hatty as originating from the Wild West era and having been a horse rancher of some kind in his mortal life. Similar to Jack Frost, he befell an unfortunate fate along with his herd and the Moon turned him into a spirit that presided over nightmares while the horses in his herd became the Nightmares.

While Nightmares are an unpleasant concept, they do have many benefits in the realm of emotional regulation and can also function as an early warning system.

-

Hatty appears as a foggy-textured silhouette with his only discernible features being the shape of a seemingly ankle length trench coat, scraggly hair and his hat. Usually, his head is featureless but on some occasions, he has eyes and a mouth that are partially obscured by the darkness of his body and look less like real body parts and more like crude props or animated sketches that hover over his face.

I envision Hatty as being "affably evil" with a voice and speech patterns that resemble the "G-Man" in Half Life but with a deeper pitch and a noticeable Texas or stereotypically wild-western drawl that is, in-turn, accompanied by an unnatural reverb.

Hatty does not walk. Instead, he sorta just slides across surfaces and passes through walls like "The Investors" in The Venture Bros. In addition to this, Hatty prefers to teleport from place to place by way of sinking into the ground and rising up from it at his destination.

-

I'm still working on Hatty's villain-arc and motivations.

Hyrule serves as the dominant military power and defender of freedom in the Milky Way Galaxy

Form of Government: Constitutional monarchy with the reigning monarch (as of the 2610s that is Queen Zelda the XXIV) being the head of the Ministry of Forgiven Affairs, a president who is elected every eight years and can only serve two terms runs things domestically, and a Supreme Commander of the Hylian armed forces who commands Hyrule's military might

Military Hyrule's Military is Split into four main branches the Army, which is in charge of ground operations, the Air force which operates all atmospheric aircraft, the Royal Marine Corps (RMC) Hyrule's premier expeditionary force and the Hylian Imperial Navy which operates large void borne fleets tasked with patrolling Hylian controlled space and establish naval dominance so that the other three service branches can do their job

General Discussion Lost Era Star Trek Series - Starship Reykjavik - Building on the existing Trek franchise

The Starship Reykjavík series is notable because it does not attempt to rewrite Star Trek canon. Instead, it focuses on expanding the spaces between canonical events, treating established history as fixed while asking what life was actually like for the rest of Starfleet during a period that television and film have only sparsely explored. In that sense, it operates much like the best licensed Star Trek novels: it fills historical gaps, extrapolates political consequences, and broadens the setting without requiring the audience to discard what they already know.

Several aspects of the series illustrate this approach.

1. It turns the "lost decades" into a coherent historical era

Most canonical Star Trek jumps from:

  • Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (2293)
  • to Star Trek: The Next Generation (2364)

The seventy years between them are comparatively unexplored.

The Reykjavík stories instead occupy the 2320s, treating them not as an empty timeline but as a distinct historical period.

Rather than simply being "before Picard," the era develops its own identity:

  • Starfleet is transitioning from a wartime fleet into a frontier service.
  • Relations with the Klingons remain cautious despite peace.
  • The Federation is growing faster than it can effectively govern.
  • New powers—especially Cardassia—are beginning to emerge.
  • Pirates, Orion syndicates, separatists, and colonial conflicts occupy Starfleet more often than galaxy-threatening supervillains.

The result is an era that feels historically situated rather than merely decorative.

2. It treats Star Trek history as cumulative

Many episodes of Star Trek end with the implication that the crisis is over.

Reykjavík instead repeatedly asks:

Examples include:

  • Ardana's caste conflict returns decades after Federation intervention.
  • Klingon politics remain unstable despite peace.
  • Former battlefields continue producing political and humanitarian consequences.
  • Federation diplomacy often has to manage problems created generations earlier.

This creates historical continuity rather than episodic reset.

3. It expands Starfleet beyond the Enterprise

Canon naturally focuses on whichever ship headlines a series.

Reykjavík deliberately widens the lens.

Throughout the stories the reader encounters:

  • task forces
  • commodores
  • frontier stations
  • diplomatic missions
  • engineering support vessels
  • tenders
  • destroyers
  • frigates
  • tactical scouts
  • civilian infrastructure

Starfleet consequently feels like an actual interstellar navy rather than six famous starships.

This is one of the series' greatest contributions to worldbuilding.

4. It restores military realism without abandoning Star Trek ideals

Canon has often oscillated between depicting Starfleet as:

  • a navy,
  • an exploration service,
  • or something in between.

Reykjavík embraces all three.

Ships explore.

Ships perform disaster relief.

Ships conduct diplomacy.

Ships also fight wars.

Instead of treating those roles as contradictory, the series argues that frontier Starfleet officers simply have to master all of them.

Captain (later Commodore) Nandi Trujillo therefore spends as much time negotiating treaties as commanding tactical engagements.

5. It develops Federation politics

Television often reduces Federation politics to:

Reykjavík depicts the machinery underneath.

Readers encounter:

  • competing admirals
  • differing strategic philosophies
  • diplomatic constraints
  • logistics
  • intelligence failures
  • budgetary realities
  • frontier administration

This makes the Federation feel like an actual government instead of merely a benevolent backdrop.

6. It gives secondary canon species greater depth

Rather than inventing entirely new civilizations every story, the series repeatedly revisits established races.

Among those receiving expanded treatment are:

  • Klingon Empire
  • Cardassian Union
  • Orion Syndicate
  • Andorians
  • Tellarites
  • Ardanans
  • Orions
  • Tholians

Instead of presenting them as one-note antagonists, the stories examine:

  • internal politics
  • economics
  • military doctrine
  • competing factions
  • historical grievances

This resembles the richer political treatment later seen in series like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

7. It bridges the aesthetic gap between TOS films and TNG

One particularly effective element is its treatment of technology.

The stories explain why:

  • Starfleet uniforms evolve gradually.
  • Ship classes diversify.
  • Tactical doctrine changes.
  • Frontier installations become more permanent.
  • Fleet organization becomes increasingly professional.

As a result, the world no longer jumps abruptly from movie-era Starfleet to the Galaxy-class era.

Instead, readers can see an evolutionary path.

8. It elevates supporting canon characters

Perhaps the clearest example is Rachel Garrett.

Rather than existing only as the doomed captain from Star Trek: The Next Generation, she becomes an emerging officer whose scientific insight, diplomatic skill, and growing reputation foreshadow the leader she will eventually become. Because readers already know her ultimate fate, her appearances carry dramatic irony without requiring the series to contradict canon.

Likewise, historical figures from the film era influence the setting even when they are not physically present. Their reputations shape Starfleet culture, promotions, and expectations, illustrating how the exploits of Kirk's generation have become institutional memory rather than everyday experience.

9. It expands Starfleet's emotional vocabulary

The Reykjavík series spends considerable time exploring subjects that television often had little room for:

  • grief
  • memorialization
  • trauma
  • command fatigue
  • survivor's guilt
  • the emotional cost of frontier service

Stories such as Les Bottes Solitaires exemplify this quieter mode of storytelling. Rather than relying on spectacle, they use small, symbolic moments to convey the lingering human consequences of Starfleet service.

10. It respects canon while contributing original material

One of the series' strengths is that its most memorable elements are original rather than borrowed.

These include:

  • Nandi Trujillo
  • Glal
  • Davula
  • Jarrod
  • the crew dynamics aboard USS Reykjavík
  • frontier task forces
  • new political crises
  • original tactical engagements

These characters and institutions feel as though they could exist alongside canonical Star Trek because they operate within established historical and philosophical boundaries rather than replacing familiar figures.

Even the Reykjavík herself reflects this philosophy. Although the Shangri-La-class originated as a fan design before later gaining canonical recognition in modern Star Trek productions, the series uses the class as a plausible tactical cruiser for the late 23rd and early 24th centuries, integrating it into Starfleet's evolving fleet structure in a way that complements rather than conflicts with canon.

Overall assessment

What distinguishes Starship Reykjavík from many Star Trek fan works is that it approaches canon as a historian would rather than as a revisionist. It asks what the logical consequences of established events would be for ordinary Starfleet personnel, frontier worlds, and interstellar politics. Instead of attempting to outdo the canonical heroes with ever-larger crises, it broadens the universe horizontally—showing how thousands of officers, diplomats, engineers, and civilians sustain the Federation between the famous adventures.

The result is a setting in which the Federation feels larger, Starfleet feels more like a functioning institution, and the 2320s emerge as a fully realized chapter of Star Trek history rather than a blank interval between two better-known eras.

Lore Dump Pokemon worldbuilding from the hospital.

No the title is not an exaggeration; I did all of this while in the hospital.

Most of this is for Sinnoh. Part 1 | Part 2

Timeline Stuff

1095 - Rail systems begin to be integrated and adopted.

1130 - The influx of foreigners and increase in travel across the region has created a strain on the traditional lineage system. The rise of the wealth merchant class and industrialisation has also caused numerous issues for it. Formerly wealthy lineage leaders have lost a lot of their power. What was once a very controlled system is now in shambles due to said leaders losing their power. More individualistic mindsets have taken hold over time, so younger people are adopting those ideals over traditional Sinnaeoh ones. They get married by themselves without approval from lineage leaders which sends genealogy records into chaos. Many also marry foreigners or those with foreign blood who had no lineage to start with. The system hasn’t collapsed but it doesn’t hold the power it once did.

1143: Sinnoh joins the League

1165 AA: Lucas raises the alarm about Hocus and the Societea poking around Oblivia to the Almian government, Erma has connections across Almia and Fiore and has been talking with them for years who have wanted to do something to help the regions including Lamont. They begin talks with the governments to set up a new entity called the Ranger Union to protect Oblivia from evildoers. To keep it from being too obvious, they want to spread Rangers across all three regions. The Fioran traditionalists and government don’t want Untouchables to get higher in the caste system, so Erma must agree that they can’t become Rangers. They must also limit the number of farmers that enter the Union. She doesn’t have much to stand on, so reluctantly agrees.

1172 AA - Cynthia’s mother born

1182 AA: Young people in Sinnoh are beginning to feel lost and disconnected with their culture. Many want to know their lineages so they begin digging into genealogy. It’s hard for many of them, though, due to many of the lineages due to many of the lineages no longer keeping records. They begin to dig up lineage connections that weren’t previously known due to advancements like DNA as well as their own skills they develop. A desire to know one’s lineage springs up among young people as well as reconnect with traditional Sinnaeoh values.

1188 AA - Cynthia is born. She is the result of a teenage pregnancy as well as two lineages that have never gotten along. Carolion, while a traditionalist, doesn’t have words for her and says she’ll support her daughter. However, Cindy doesn’t want to stay in Sinnoh due to how conservative Celestic Town is. Carolina says she’ll keep the baby if Cindy doesn’t want it. Cindy says she wants to live abroad and not be bogged down with a baby. Carolina agrees and takes the baby and allows Cindy and her boyfriend to go abroad. Cindy decides to not have any contact with the rest of her family despite loving her mother. She just doesn’t want a relationship with her daughter at all, so it’s easier to cut contact than try to maintain a relationship with her mother and not her daughter.

1196: Smartphones invented. Johto already has Pokegear and doesn’t want to invest the infrastructure to adopt the new technology on the scale of the whole region. Bigger cities like Goldenrod and Cherrygrove pay companies to install towers but it’s not region wide. Plus smaller towns and villages don’t have the ability to pay for towers to be installed.

1201 AA: Smartphones exist.

Unova History

5825 DA: Humans and Pokémon remain in constant conflict despite the legendaries’ presence. The Musketeers have to keep more wars from breaking out which has left them mentally and physically exhausted. They beseech Arceus to help which results in the creation of Eryndra. The dragon is one of the most Powerful Pokémon ever created. They stop an immediate battle that was bout to happen on [desert route]. It scorches the surrounding area and leaves the area forever left as desert. Humans and Pokémon are all left shocked at the powerful dragon who demands they stop fighting. They say that anyone—human or Pokémon—that wants to continue fighting will be killed. A truce is forced between humans and Pokémon which neither side is happy with the truce, but they are forced to agree under threat of death. Pokémon are forced to help humans rebuild.

5531 DA: The rebuilding process has gone nicely and the relationship between humans and Pokémon are being built. Eryndra has ruled with a gloved fist to stop the fighting. The humans have started to act as trainers and guides to Pokémon despite how tense things were before. Eryndra is also beginning to train humans in capacities of leadership. Some also begin to worship the dragon though it makes them uncomfortable. They tray to speak against it, but the humans see them and the other legendaries as gods. Religious orders begin to spring up.

5341 DA: Humans begin to band together and form more hierarchical societies due to the lessons Eryndra has given them. They start to gather followers, but Eryndra puts a stop to it due to worrying about what would happen.

Philosophies of Pokemon/human relationships

Sinnoh: Pokémon are deeply spiritual beings that should be treated with respect and kindness as well as reverence due to their power and majesty—in a sense, they see them as demigods and emissaries between humans and Arceus.

Kanto: Pokémon are the very incarnation of life energy as they seem to never be stagnant and are always changing as well as manipulating and expressing energy. They are powerful and must be respected, but they can be guided to become more powerful and even more connected to life energy. Trainers act as a welly to help Pokémon keep growing. In a sense, trainers are a kind of bridge or even spiritual leader for their teams

Johto: Pokémon are seen as beings of teaching. While Pokémon can and do guide them, humans should also be learning lessons from Pokémon. They should reflect on themselves and their own lives from what they were teaching their teams. It should be mutual learning and teaching of each other. If anything, Pokémon are a bit higher than humans rather than the other way around.

Hoenn: Pokemon should be lived with in harmony and treated with kindness. Hoenntari see Pokémon as their equals and want to live in harmony with them as much as possible. They incorporate this into their design in cities with architecture designed specifically to accommodate wild Pokémon. City own/expansions are considered very carefully before being done so they have minimal impact on the environment and natural resources so they don’t harm the local Pokémon too much.

Unova: Pokémon are partners and should be treated with respect and dignity. However, humans are the leaders and teachers. They were originally outside observers who helped Pokémon grow, so it turned into humans being the leaders of Pokémon. This has been misconstrued by some people to treat Pokémon as tools at best and abuse them at worst. However, that’s a minority of people as lessons from Eryndra still resonate today.

Orre: At one time, Pokémon were seen as equals and treated well. However, with the catastrophic collapse of the environment 500 years ago, things shifted, Pokémon are now largely treated as tools for survival especially by nomadic desert tribes. Battles are less for sport and more for survival. Everything is solved through battles. Most Trainers only see their Pokémon as means to an end and battles are far more brutal than League regions. The only reason Trainers care for their Pokémon are for purely selfish and practical reasons. They only do it so they can continue to survive. Abuse is rampant in Orre and Pokémon do die regularly in normal battles due to the sheer brutality of Orran battles. Friendship evolutions are very rare due to how Trainers push their Pokémon.

Sinnoh legendaries as individuals

(have not been named yet)

- Drakrai. A very cool customer that knows how to remain calm in practically every situation. He can and will remain even. It’s hard to get him to react to anything with a high emotion. A lot of people try to get him to react to thing but he generally doesn’t unless it’s about his family. He is quite secretive due to people and Pokémon finding him relatively terrifying. Spending so much time in the Rift. It has rubbed off on him and the energies make him seem more menacing than he actually is. He’s actually quite softspoken, gentle, and caring. He can be charismatic when he speaks. He can really rally people around him if he wants to, but he does not very often. He stood up next to Daray and helped to rally people who could banish Echofiends to help get rid of them and push them back into the Rift. Daray helped organise these people into a more cohesive order that Darkrai helped train himself. He doesn’t like having to deal with humans too much, though, as he finds it incredibly difficult to relate them. He has never spent much time around humans due to needing to spend a lot of time in the Rift.

- Cresselia. Some would expect her to be sweet and gentle, but she’s a battle-hardened veteran. She does rule over the Dream World, but she has to constantly fight back the Rift of Reverie from encroaching on the Dream World. She has to spend al ot of time making sure people don’t fall into it. Nightmares also wear her down due to how they trap others in them. She wants everyone to have sweet dreams, but the reality is that nightmares do play an important role in people’s processing. The Lunar Wing is less a guard against general nightmares and more a guard against constant exposure to the Rift. Lunar Wings are rarely given out as most people are only exposed to the Rift for a few nights. More than eight nights results in a Lunar Wing. Lunar Wings are the embodiment of Dream-type energy. With how Dream types work, it helps keep the recipient out of the Rift. They may still have nightmares in the Dream World, but it protects them against Echofiends and possession. She sticks mainly to Sinnoh but can create Lunar Wings to be distributed across different regions. Dream types rescue people and Pokémon from the Rift. If they rescue the same person eight nights in a row, they go to Cresselia and get a Lunar Wing for them.

- Azelf. Willpower. Depsite being the one that gifted willpower, va is quite timid and doesn’t like to interact with humans too much. It doesn’t help Pokémon scared va until they were given the ability to think and be logical. Va remembers when non-legendaries were wild beasts. Va has been alive for billions of years, so the short amount of time Pokémon have been logical hasn’t overwritten billions of years of programming. Va is stubborn and set in var ways, so even var’s siblings have trouble convincing var to change. Palkia has tried to tell va how different things are now, but va can’t accept it. Not helping is the fact humans have betrayed legendaries numerous times. Sabios’ actions led to Arceus withdrawing from the world as well as the general withdrawal of the Sinnoh legendaries. The way Cyrus used va to create the Red Chain didn’t help either. Va doesn’t despise humans, but va also doesn’t like them. Va regrets giving humans the ability to think. Va thought var’s gift would be used wisely, but Va thinks that it was abused and misused. Va really just wants to be left alone for the most part.

- Mesprit. Emotion. Perhaps predictably, Mesprit is the most emotional of the Guardian Trio. Va isn’t exactly unstable, but va can switch emotions quickly. Va simply tends to live life in the moment rather than dwelling in the apst or future. It is to the extreme, though, as only the present matters to va. Even two seconds ago doesn’t matter to va. It makes va seem scatterbrained and even flaky. Va still has memories of the past, but va doesn’t let past experiences rule var life like Azelf does. Mesprit marches to the beat of var own drum. In some respects, Mespirt is very childlike. Va is constantly happy, though it doesn’t take much to change var mood. Va does think of the future but doesn’t dwell on it. Va can keep appointments and such, so it’s not like va’s completely scatterbrained. Va simply doesn’t allow the past or future to weigh var down at all. Va can be very curious about the world and even slightly mischievous at times. Va loves a good prank and often uses var invisibility to do so. Even with what Cyrus did to the Guardian Trio, Mesprit continues to live in the moment and not be defined it.

- Uxie. Knowledge. Uxie spends most of var time among humans in var human form. As expected from the embodiment of knowledge, va truly enjoys learning. Va spent a lot of time in the billions of years before humans cataloguing and chronicling the world. Va invented the first writing system to record the world and has billions of years of notes as things happened. Va never shared var notes with humans, though, so the writing systems developed by humans are completely divergent from Uxie’s. Uxie’s language has also developed over time, though va can read var notes from from any period. Va is the most versed in deal with humans as va spends a lot of time among and around them. Va finds humans interesting and is pleased with how they’ve used it…for the most part. Va likes that many humans are curious and want to discover things about the world and universe. Va is not happy they’ve used their knowledge to betray Arceus and other legendaries, but it’s not like va can rescind var gift without severe repercussions. The good must simply come with the bad.

Other Stuff

Dream type - not a traditional type in that it has type matchups; it’s a special secondary/tertiary typing that’s more metaphysical. It allows Pokémon with the typing to pass into the Rift of Reverie and to help protect humans and Pokémon from Echofiends and make sure they won’t be harmed by being in the Rift. Certain individuals of certain lines act as guardians of dreams and make sure nothing will happen to them. Individual family lines across regions also work with Dream-type Pokémon in a special role that’s culturally significant for every region though it differs across regions. Dream type is not mutually exclusive with any other type. Psychic is the most common typing to be Dream type, though, as their abilities were the most compatible with traversing the Dream World.

Dream World - the real where all dreams happen and is Cresselia’s main domain. All people and Pokémon can appear in the Dream World and interact with each other randomly. The Dream world is not wholly present, though, as it’s also where most nightmares occur. The Rift of Reverie is triggered when someone experiences deeply negative emotions or traumatic events. Echofiends are the echoes of souls that never moved onto the afterlife and corrupted due to dwelling in their trauma and regrets too long. They feed off of negative emotions and need them to continue existing. No guardians of the afterlife were able to convince these souls to move on. After the Guardian Trio granted their gifts, souls were created. There was no afterlife infrastructure, so Arceus had to create it. Guardians had to be established to take care of souls, so Ghost types were put in chare of them. Ghosts are not inherently malicious; they just love some good fun because they have a solemn job. Most Ghost types don’t directly deal with souls now as individuals but fun and levity have been ingrained into culture of Ghost types over millennia. It was relegated to certain individuals i lines much like the Dream type.

There are multiple Darkrai and Cresselia across the world, though they’re not in many places. Veshana and Rafesan of Oblivia take a unique role in the world first for the people of ancient Oblivia and now ALmia. They help people with trauma and help them expel negative emotions. The Dream World is a shared metaphysical realm where anyone can interact with anyone though it’s random. Veshana and Rafesan actually cut people off from the Dream World in order to prevent them from becoming vulnerable to Echofiends. They want to help people out as much as possible, but they can only do so much as they are only two individuals with limited consciousness. Modern therapy has decreased the need for their services, but lots of people still rely on them for dream help. They do have specific things they do that modern therapy can’t do especially on a metaphysical level. The Luminous Crystal holds all of the negative emotions that Veshana and Rafesan have collected over the years, but the Tears of Princes were removed allowing it to become the Dark Crystal.

Lore Dump Sinnoh History Part 2

Part 1 can be found here. Please read that first!

767 AA: Things have largely settled across sinnoh due to Daray’s descendants continuing the gloved fist mentality. The eight areas do answer to the royal family but the lineages still maintain more influence than the royals. The gloved fist mentality has led to an increase in overall travel and safety which has opened up Sinnoh to the pilgrimage routes being traveled more often. The forced peace between the areas has allowed some enterprising lesser lineages to begin trading. This lets some lesser lineages begin to move up economically.

789 AA: The greater movement of people through the region has led to alarm among the most prominent lineages. They feel like the mixing is already causing issues for lineages overall. They want an official recognition system for lineages and records of everyone within their lineage. The royal family is more about keeping peace right now rather than unified policy making. They rightfully point out that this will lead to more central power as the royal family will need to have liaisons and recordkeepers across the region. The main lineages want the official system, so they begin putting one into place.

803 AA: The Kinbound Concords are enacted, forcing everyone to register with their royal liaisons for recognition in their lineage. It also allows for lineage bearers to approve marriages. All members of lineages must be recognised by bearers, Many smaller lineages do not meet legal requirements, leaving them in a limbo place. They’re either forced to merge with larger lineages or have several smaller ones merge. This leads to all sorts of legal messes and squabbles between lineages.

812 AA: All of the squabbles lead to the Great Highland Wars. The Highland Marches and Acuity Lakelands are the least populated areas and have a much lower density than the other areas. They go to war with each other due to needing to merge and no lineage wanting to not legally exist any longer.

922 AA: The Highlands are subdued and treaties are forcibly signed. The royal family pushes lineages together for the sake of legalities due to needing peace. The royal family has also had to step in elsewhere due to smaller lineages being forced to merge and not agreeing who should marry and be allowed to rule and take over.

940 AA: It takes over a century for all of the lineage-related issues to be sorted out. However, in that time, the royal family’s influence expanded massively, causing the autonomy of the areas to wane. Lineages still maintain a large amount of influence, but no longer supercede the royal family. A period of stability then follows as Sinnoh is truly unified.

1035 AA: Sinnoh has largely been isolated from the larger world. However, a fleet of ships from Kanto, Johto, Galar, and Paldea land and want to start trading with Sinnoh. The royal family doesn’t doesn’t want to open up, but the threat of war from these regions forces their hand.

1075 AA: The trade brought to Sinnoh unprecedented peace and prosperity but deeply upset its traditional order. Foreigners that don’t understand the lineage system began trying to force a change by pushing their values on the Sinnaeoh as they also intermarry with them. Not helping the fact is a new merchant class has sprung up. These merchants intermarry with foreigners and are becoming wealthier than the old lineages who traditionally had the most control of wealth and resources. Lesser lineages have surpassed the older, wealthier ones due to being enterprising. Industrialisation is also happening despite the traditionalists and royal family standing against it.

1093 AA: An unknowing foreigner finds the sealed entrance to the Rift that Daray closed and opens it. The royal family immediately jumps into action to try to seal it. However, with all of Daray’s journals having been burned, nobody knows how to seal the portal. Darkrai comes and seals it himself and sets the task of banishing the Echofiends to a set of twins that are of the royal line.

The commoners are outraged that the line known for protecting them failed to live up to their duty. Sinnaeoh who have spent time outside the region demand the royal family step aside and let the people rule. It’s mainly the powerful merchant class demanding it, though several prominent lineages back them.

The royal family wants to fight back and see the wider world is turning against monarchy. They agree to give up power as long as they can maintain a ceremonial rule. The monarchy is dismantled as a power, but the family is allowed to be maintained as citizens so long as they do not try to wrest power from the people.

Lore Dump Some Sinnoh history

Another post in my ongoing Pokemon worldbuilding series.

Please keep in mind that these are notes so things may not be in complete sentences.

AA means "After Arceus."

The Rift of Reverie is the topmost layer of the Distortion World where nightmares can happen if people touch it with their minds. Echofiends are non-Pokemon entities that live within the Rift and feed on negative emotions.

Also note that this does not take Legends Arceus into account. I've had some of the ideas bumping around since like 2016 and I decided to stick with those rather than attempt to wedge Legends Arceus into my canon.

  • Use idea of tribes - Daray unites Hisui into modern Sinnoh
  • Tribes are somewhat similar to Almian itopka but not identical - based off Pokémon tribe identifies with on a spiritual level - use term lineage instead of tribe or clan
  • There can be multiple lineages for the same Pokémon - rooted in geographical origins and pilgrimage routes
    • The Crown - Mount Coronet
    • Lakelands - Verity, Valor, Acuity - each has its own culture
    • Highland Marches - Snowpoint
    • Eastern Coast - Sunyshore
    • Mirelands - Pastoria/Great Marsh
    • Verdant Basin - Floaroma/Eterna
    • Pilgrimage route later
  • Dominant lineages later
  • The Crown: Celestic, Oreburgh, Hearthome
  • Verity Lakeland: Twinleaf, Sandgem, Jubilife, Canalave
  • Acuity Lakeland: additional towns/cities
  • Highland Marches: Snowpoint
  • Valor Lakeland: additional towns/cities
  • Eastern Coast: Veilstone, Sunyshore, League
  • Mirelands: Pastoria, Great Marsh
  • Verdant Basin: Floaroma, Eterna
  • Hisui essentially split into eight different regions that all had unique cultures and philosophies with dominant lineages - not necessarily royalty, but made many decisions for the areas - philosophies come from legendaries being interpreted differently and emphasised in different areas, ie Guardian Trio much more worshiped in Lakelands - all had their takes on things and led to ideological conflicts as well as over resources
  • Legendaries tried to quell fighting innumerable times but could not succeed - became frustrated with humanity and wanted fighting to end - once Arceus withdrew from world, all others in Sinnoh did aside from Darkrai and Cresselia who had to keep the Rift of Reverie and the Echofiends from invading the waking world
  • About 500 years before present, a lineage believed that the Rift of Reverie were messages from the absent legendary Pokémon - Echofiends could easily manipulate mortals desperate for guidance and made it seem like the legendaries were attempting to guide them
  • Opened the Rift and all hell broke loose due to Echofiends being allowed out - region descended into chaos due to Echofiends being set loose - Darkrai chose a champion from a lesser lineage that was a transman and sensitive to the Rift - he could banish the Echofiends easily due to strong psychic abilities
  • Region was in pure chaos due to the Echofiends being free and possessing people - Darkrai taught taught Daray how to use his powers and imbued him with far stronger ones - he spent the next ten or so years battling back the Echofiends even after the opening to the Rift was closed - all had to be returned to the Rift
  • Daray’s deeds were celebrated and all of the lineages wanted him to rule - he tried to refuse but they wouldn’t take no for an answer - forced him to take a husband and continue his line - near present day Eterna City - the castle has been preserved but Daray chose to burn a lot of his documents due to how people perceived him and didn’t want to besmirch that with his identity - chose to preserve the people’s love for their queen despite it causing him dysphoria
  • Era of Bleakness: rebuilding after the Rift crisis
  • Lake Concords: trade routes begin to establish, formal lineage recognition, pilgrimage routes protected
  • Great Highland Wars: territory disputes, ideological issues, lineage succession crises
  • Costal Opening: opening to trade
  • Dreaming Plague: issues with the Rift
  • Lineages fracturing: central governance expands, merchant class rises
  • The League Era: modern vs traditional, expansion of technology, intro to League vales vs traditional Sinnaeoh
  • Unova Revolution: 960 AA begins

1213: Galactic events

690 AA: Daray begins his crusade against the Echofiends

675 AA: Daray born

687 AA: A lesser lineage opens a large portal to the Rift of Reverie in an attempt to reach the legendaries they believe are attempting to reach them through dreams. However, all this does is unleash Echofiends into the larger world and allow humans to be possessed by Echofiends.

690 AA: A young transman from a lesser lineage from the Verity Lakeland finds himself in the presence of Darkrai. He’s told that he has a powerful ability to deal with and banish and Echofiends unlike anybody else in the region. Darkrai says he can further augment the youth’s abilities if they team up. Daray accepts and begins his crusade to close the opening to the Rift and banish the Echofiends.

694 AA: Daray manages to find the opening to the Rift and closes it with Darkrai’s help. However, the work isn’t done as many Echofiends remain at large in the world. He has built bridges across Hisui due to traveling so much and banishing Echofiends.

712 AA: Daray has traveled across the whole of Hisui and gained a reputation across the lineages of being a strong, capable leader and warrior. All of the foremost lineages in their areas beg him to rule. He tries to say no, but the amount of pressure makes him capitulate. He’s forced to take a husband and bear children despite his gender identity. Construction on a palace near modern-day Eterna begins.

725 AA: Emissaries from the Mirelands arrive, asking for help with resources. The regions is now unified but the peace is fragile due to the beliefs between the lineages being so different. Daray tries to send resources from the Verdant Basin as the Mirelands were hit the hardest during the crisis and a drought is only making things worse for them. The inhabitants of the Basin don’t want to help. Daray sends out a fighting force to make sure those in the Mirelands will get their support. Ideological differences keep spats like this keep happening over the next several decades. This keeps happening despite Daray’s leadership. He’s forced to rule with a gloved fist. He must use force to enforce many decisions, but he tries diplomacy before force. He doesn’t like it, but he understands the unification is fragile and mus have strength behind it.

737 AA: Darkrai warns Daray that his time on the planet is drawing to a close in a few years. He’s kept journals of his life but decides to burn them all because he doesn’t want anybody to know about his gender identity. Unbeknownst to him, one of the journals got hidden by a servant in a niche of a wall.

740 AA: Daray dies.

Lore Dump Kanto Lore

Part 2 of my Pokemon trainer region lore dump! It includes cities that do not exist canonically because I'm expanding the regions at some point. Eventually.

  • Worship the birds as main deities
  • Multiple birds which led to formation of clans along ideological lines — same species had same ideals but different ways of interpreting
  • Articuno — resilience, perseverence, strength comes through enduring hardship — purity and maintaining clarity of thought
  • Zapdos — harnessing one’s inner strength to use at right time — take bold action — independence, autonomy, freedom of choice
  • Moltres — endings cause new beginnings — setback or failure but a step toward reinvention and transformation — passion, purpose, drive — pursue dreams with intensity while also understanding need for control and respect
  • Life is about balance and never stagnant — importance about harmony in diversity — balance does not mean uniformity but working together despite differences

Articuno Clans

  • Sienna Hills: long-term endurance: This clan combines some of Celebi’s teachings into their own. They’re the oldest recordkeepers in Kanto and are renowned for their scribal abilities. Many are trained from a young age to be recordkeepers and go into various fields related to it such as library science and court stenographers. They are deeply motivated people and are spread through the region. They believe that hard work will bring about rewards in this life and the next, sometimes to their own mental and physical detriment. They can be guilted into long hours as their work ethic can unfortunately be manipulated easily quite often.
  • Viridian City: gentle, nurturing, protection of life: The Viridian Clan is dedicated to all things nature and ensuring the world is cared for. They believe nature is purity and that preserving nature is the best to ensure the longevity of everyone and everything. The Viridian Forest is a stretch of forest they’ve preserved for a very long time. They’re generally in conservation work or something related to it. They have close ties with the Ranger Union and help out Affiliated Rangers across Kanto and the world. The Viridian Clan is known worldwide for its love of nature and dedication to it. They are also Pokémon breeders with many breeders in the world having close ties with them. Many also run Pokémon preserves and help with homeless, abused, and confiscated Pokémon across the world. THey work closely with the Joy Succession across the world to ensure those sorts of Pokémon can be care for and nurtured.
  • Pewter City: discipline and control of emotions: The Pewter Clan is all about resilience and control. They maintain belief in purity of thought and interpret it as a desire to control and even subjugate emotions. The Pewter Clan is where al ot of Black Belts originate from though not necessarily through blood. The Pewter Clan helps maintain martial practices of all sorts across the world and run dojos that anyone can join and learn from. The Pewter Clan believes that people can and should own and control their emotions and urges at any cost. As such, mental health is taboo among the members of the clan as it’s perceived as weakness. Arranged marriage is still commonly practiced as they believe love and other emotions shouldn’t be dabbled in and accepted. Marriage is pretty strictly for only procreation and nothing else.
  • Cerulean City: artistic, symbolic, seeing clarity in life: Basically hippies. They believe in artistic expression and that art and expression are the highest thing one can do with their life. They believe love is one of the strongest forces in the universe and it can overcome a lot. Opposite of the Pewter Clan. They love nature and believe that it can help bring more meaning and clarity to life. Interaction with nature is pretty much divine and should be celebrated. They’re looser in laws when it comes to certain substances than the rest of Kanto as they believe they can bring about close experiences with the soul and even the divine itself.
  • Amberstead: observing/understanding without interference: A group of philosophers and intellectuals that often butt heads with other clans. They think they know best of all clans and conflict with the Sienna Clan constantly. They’re also recordkeepers but more in a business and research way than the Sienna Clan who encompass as much knowledge as possible. They value higher learning immensely and often send their children abroad to other regions to study and broaden their horizons. They’re often found in high positions like CEOs and universities. They love to argue and be philosophical, though many other clans find them to be abrasive and frustrating. They are incredibly wealthy as well, meaning they have heavy influence on many things.

Zapdos Clans

  • Cerise Crossing: chaotic, freedom at all costs: The Cerise Clan is a very fragmented clan due to the fact they value freedom at all costs. Some of them wander while others resort to thievery because they don’t believe in central authority to a large degree. While there is a clan council as there are with all other clans, its authority over its membres is limited due to how many interpret the idea of freedom at all costs. Cerise Crossing is a place of corruption, poverty, and crime due to how the clan operates. They’re by far the most despised clan in all of Kanto due to their overall nature. Cerise Crossing is a place of debauchery, decadence, and corruption. Basically Vegas run by 1920’s gangsters. The safe areas are generally safe with the bad areas being incredibly bad.
  • Fuchsia City: strategic decision making: The Fuchsia Clan is known for its people being strong leaders and decision makers. In times past, they were feared military leaders and warlords for hire. They often butted heads with the Pewter Clan due to both being very martially oriented. The Fuchsia Clan maintains ranks in the Kanto military. Most large regions do maintain a military though they are relatively small forces. Most in the Fuchsia Clan go into the military for training then go into higher education for training in leadership. Many get recruited for HR, project management, corporate management, and similar roles. They aren’t as intense as the Pewter Clan, but they still do expect some level mental and emotional discipline without major highs or lows outside of understandable circumstances.
  • Saffron City: overcoming obstacles through force: The Saffron Clan are known for their propensity to be very outspoken and to the point. They deeply value honesty and openness. They’re often to the point and don’t play games. They tend to butt heads with other clans over their philosophies and attitudes. Despite this, they do know when to have tact and be sensitive at times. A lot of those in the Saffron Clan can be found in positions like hostage negotiation as well as other leadership positions, though they don’t tend to overlap with the Fuchsia Clan too much. Many can actually be found in the entertainment industry due to many finding it an interesting challenge to become someone they’re not. They can also often be found in law enforcement as detectives, interrogators, and profilers. Surprisingly, they can also be found in psych-related fields due to believing in uncovering the truth so much.
  • Chartreuse Ridge: rapid response to threads: The Chartreuse Clan is similar to the Viridian Clan but they’re much more action oriented. Members of this clan believe that helping others is of the utmost importance and that keeping order is their duty. As such, they’re found in the fields of first responders and social work most often. A number of them choose to become Affiliated Rangers and go to other regions in order to help others the most. This clan is known for its high level of empathy as most members do choose to go into such fields. They’re also found in healthcare, human and Pokémon alike. They work closely with the Joy Succession at least in Kanto and Johto, often intermarrying due to their values being so close aligned. Some also become Union Rangers.
  • Celadon City: embrace energy and spontaneity: The Celadon Clan is known for being home to artists, wanderers, and generally free souls who seek understanding. This clan has very close ties to the Cerulean Clan who are similar in a number of ways. However, the Celadon Clan takes a more philosophical bent rather than trying to just be artistic. They deeply enjoy the ideas behind philosophy and symbolism and think there’s deeper meaning in everything. Members of this clan can be found in literary and artistic circles, the critique and philosophy side. They become historians due to knowing philosophy and art are deeply, intimately tied to their era in history as well as understanding that things are different. Some can enter tech as that is a unique field for them and they find technology and its philosophies beautiful in its own way.

Moltres Clans

  • Vermillion Clan: destruction for renewal: The Vermillion Clan is focused on ideals of being able to renew things and growth via trials. They believe that people must gro through hardship in order to grow. The Vermillion Clan goes out of its way to help members grow by putting them through trials at certain points in life and encouraging members to continue to push themselves to grow. This leads members to become internally drive and to challenge themselves in various ways. Members of the Vermillion Clan can be found in sports of all sorts as well as medicine, law, aerospace, and first responder roles quite often. They enjoy anything that can and will push them mentally or physically, depending on that individual’s inclinations.
  • Lavender Town: nurturing growth and renewal: The Lavender Clan is similar to the Viridian Clan but with how they nurture and care for things but they’re more about compassionate acceptance than protection. They believe in renewal and cycles of life, emphasising that life and death are two sides of the same coin. They believe that growth isn’t an easy process and that it can sometimes hurt. Death is not something to be feared but to be celebrated and even cherished because nothing is truly permanent. They believe that lessons learned from all living things and interactions are scared and should be nurtured. Due to being the keepers of Lavender Tower, this clan is generally associated with death. Members of this clan can be found in the death industry, but also healthcare and psychiatric fields due to wanting to help others grow.
  • Bronzefall: follow one’s fire: The Bronze Clan is by far the most individualist clan in all of Kanto and the most dispersed. They believe deeply in following one’s dreams boldly. They’re taught from a young age to invest in themselves and go after what interests them. The hallmark traits of this clan’s members are those that live life to the fullest with a zest for life and a fiery twinkle in their eyes. There’s no real unifying philosophy for this clan in the same way to that there is for others.
  • Rosewood Springs: chaos to catalyse change: Those in the Rosewood Clan tend to be moves and shakers across the world. This clan is almost inherently rebellious as their core philosophy is that of catalysing change. They don’t have unified fields they tend toward as a group because their clan encourages diversity of thought and interest. The main thing is that people learn to think critically about themselves and the world to challenge things. The more radical, the better in the clan’s eyes. As long as ideas, people, and institutions are being challenged, the clan is happy.
  • Cinnabar Island: control over destructive power: The Cinnabar Clan is focused on careful use of fire and passion for transformation. They often deal with the Pewter Clan as they are highly disciplined. However, the Cinnabar Clan believes that emotions aren’t all bad especially not one’s passions and loves. They believe a person should control their passion but still allow it to help push them along. They do war about passions becoming too consuming and overwhelming which is one reason why they do work closely with the Pewter Clan. They don’t practice arranged marriage, though, thinking love is one of the greatest experiences in life overall. As the encourage individual passions, there’s no set pattern of fields they enter most frequently.

Lore Dump Alternate Star Wars Sequels (I know, Dead Horse)

I keep reworking an alternate sequel trilogy in my head based off the original Lucas Concepts, it basically finds a way for how the details would unfold in my opinion, lmk what y'all think.

STAR WARS

EPISODE VII: SHADOW OF THE EMPIRE

Introduction

It is a period of chaos in the galaxy. As the New Republic struggles to suppress numerous Imperial Remnants, powerful crime syndicates have laid claim to vast star systems.

Recently, a brutal gang war broke out between the Twin Hutt Clans over Outer Rim territory. Specifically at stake are several planets containing lost Imperial archives that house relics of the Jedi Order—the long-lost guardians of peace and justice before the dark times of the Empire.

Given the gravity of this conflict, General Leia Organa has dispatched her son, Skyler Solo, to navigate Wild Space. His mission: locate the archives before the sinister forces seeking to eradicate the Jedi can get there first...

Character Backgrounds

Han Solo: A cynical, disillusioned New Republic officer stationed on Felucia. He has succumbed to alcoholism, but still commands covert operations.

Skyler Solo: Han and Leia’s son. He serves under Han, executing dangerous covert missions alongside Chewbacca and R2-D2. In terms of personality, Skyler takes heavily after his mother: duty-bound and intense.

Thea Solo: The black sheep of the family. Possessing Han’s wild, rebellious personality, she ran away to forge her own path on a junkyard planet, where she spends her time modifying her own starship.

Leia Organa: Currently struggling to hold together a corrupt New Republic Senate that is already spread far too thin militarily.

Act I: The Gathering Storm

Skyler, R2-D2, and Chewbacca attempt to salvage an old, beaten-up Star Destroyer in Hutt territory, believing it holds clues to the location of the Imperial archives. During the operation, the decaying vessel abruptly drops into the orbit of a nearby junk planet. While Chewbacca manages to keep their primary ship aloft, Skyler is forced to take an escape pod to the surface, and R2-D2 is left trapped aboard the crashing Star Destroyer.

Now split up, the trio fights to regroup. While scavenging through the fresh wreckage, Thea discovers and recovers R2-D2. While repairing the droid, she uncovers lost holographic footage of her family together and happy, alongside the coordinates to Luke Skywalker’s hidden temple. Spurred by a desire for belonging, Thea resolves to find her uncle.

Meanwhile, Chewbacca returns to Felucia to rouse a sober-enough Han. Back on the junk planet, Skyler and Thea reunite. Before they can depart, they are captured by a pair of ruthless pirates named Snake and Symbiote. Making a daring, chaotic escape, the siblings successfully blast off into space.

Act II: The Shadow Lengthens

Thea sets off alone to find Luke Skywalker, who lives in self-imposed exile following the tragic collapse of his Jedi Academy. Thea fiercely debates the merits of the Jedi Order and his abandonment of the galaxy, ultimately convincing her uncle to overcome the self-doubt and fear of the darkness inherent in the Skywalker bloodline.

Simultaneously, a political bombshell drops: Leia’s true lineage as the daughter of Darth Vader is exposed to the galaxy, shattering her political standing.

Spurred to action by the crisis, Han sobers up and leverages his old underworld connections to gather intelligence on the syndicates and the rising Imperial Remnant, feeding critical data back to Leia.

However, disaster strikes when Skyler is ambushed by the story's primary antagonist, Darth Talon. Disguising herself as a civilian in distress, Talon seduces Skyler. She masterfully exploits his growing disillusionment with the Republic’s failing peace-keeping efforts, whispering that his grandfather, Darth Vader, possessed the true power required to end this chaos. She manipulates Skyler into embracing his dark side heritage to lead an Imperial Remnant against the Hutt Clans—unaware that he is ultimately a pawn in the grander, overarching schemes of Darth Maul.

Act III: The Spark of Rebellion

The conflict culminates in a massive space battle over a harsh, snowy lava planet occupied by the Empire. Before the chaos, Han shares a brief, bittersweet reunion with Leia and his estranged daughter. Luke returns to the galactic stage alongside Han and Thea just as Leia arrives with vital Republic reinforcements.

As Luke engages Darth Talon in a fierce duel, Skyler undergoes a dark mirror of Anakin and Luke’s heroic pasts, destroying a massive capital ship but solidifying his fall. Tragedy strikes when Han goes down with the Millennium Falcon, his final, heartbreaking comms transmission broadcasting to his family as the ship is destroyed.

The battle leaves Skyler badly wounded and in desperate need of extensive cybernetic life support. In the aftermath, Thea and Leia reunite in grief. Together with Luke, Thea vows to reconstruct the Jedi Order, pledging to bring together the galaxy's scattered survivors and train the next generation of younglings.

Major Themes

The Shadow of the Empire: The title operates on multiple levels. It represents the literal power vacuum left by the Empire that the crime syndicates have filled, the physical threat of the Imperial Remnants, and most importantly, the dark psychological legacy lingering over the Skywalker/Solo family.

The Burden of Heritage: Luke isolates himself to deeply meditate and reassess his life's failures. Leia struggles with the impossible dual burden of being a present mother and reconstructing a fractured galaxy. Neglected by their parents, Thea and Skyler struggle to forge their own identities while literally and figuratively scavenging through the wreckage of their parents' war.

Corruption of Youth: Darth Talon serves as the seductive embodiment of evil, luring Skyler down a path of radicalization—a narrative allegory for disenfranchised youth being recruited into extremist groups.

Acceptance vs. Defiance: Resentful of her mother’s absence and emotional repression, Thea initially acts out of spite. Her wild nature draws her to Luke, only for her to realize that becoming a legend carries a heavy burden. To grow, she must embrace her family as a whole, including the generational trauma they constantly run from.

EPISODE VIII: LEGACY OF THE FORCE

Overview

Luke Skywalker reunites with scattered Force-sensitive clans to rebuild the Jedi Order. He begins training and nurturing a new generation of younglings composed of Republic children and galactic orphans. As an initiation rite, Thea and the new students scavenge the wreckage of the Death Star to harvest Kyber crystals for their lightsabers.

Meanwhile, a heartbroken Leia is forced to wage war against her own son's forces while simultaneously investigating deep-seated corruption within the Senate, orchestrated from the shadows by Maul’s Shadow Collective.

Thea embarks on a spiritual journey akin to Yoda’s arc in The Clone Wars. Guided by the Shaman of the Whills, she learns the deeper mysteries of the Force and how living beings act as vessels for a vast, microbiotic symbiosis. One of her guides is a literal ancient droid, overrun with moss and fungi, acting as a direct conduit for the Living Force. During her trials, this keeper droid is tragically destroyed, and Thea loses her hand in a profound, ritualistic sacrifice.

The tragedy deepens when Skyler is ordered to assault the new Jedi Temple. Luke sacrifices his life holding his nephew back, buying enough time for the students to escape. Rather than scattering them, Luke’s sacrifice unifies the survivors more than ever before.

Ultimately, Skyler is betrayed by Maul and Talon, who sell him out to the Republic. Though politically pressured to execute her own son, Leia refuses, opting instead to freeze Skyler in carbonite. While the war against the Imperial Remnant is won, it proves to be a pyrrhic victory: the Shadow Collective has successfully seized de facto control over the Republic.

EPISODE IX: A NEW ORDER

(Vague Conceptual Ideas)

Darth Talon breaks Skyler out of Republic custody, intending to use him to betray her master, Maul. Instead, a vengeful Skyler executes her and sets out to destroy both the Republic and the Syndicates entirely.

Thea returns from her spiritual journey within the Force vergence, uniting the newly trained Jedi with Leia’s loyalist resistance to root out the gangsters corrupting the core of the galaxy.

In a moment of battlefield chaos, C-3PO is accidentally shot out into the vacuum of space.

The Climax: A final showdown takes place on the mystical world of Mortis between Thea and Skyler. This conflict ties the trilogy back to the fundamental lore established in The Clone Wars (The Father, The Son, and The Daughter).

Regardless of whether one, both, or neither of the siblings survive the duel, the fundamental resolution of the saga establishes Leia as the true Chosen One. Through her unwavering resolve, she successfully reunifies the Jedi, restores the Republic, and purges the crime syndicates—effectively suffocating Maul’s grip on the galaxy. This grand political victory occurs in tandem with her final, emotional reconciliation with her children.

Epilogue

Years later, R2-D2 travels to a powerful vergence of the Force. There, he discovers a heavily weathered C-3PO, who has been adopted by the wilderness as the new Keeper of the Whills, possessing little to no memory of his past life.

Sitting beside his old friend, R2-D2 projects his holographic recordings from the very beginning of the saga, retelling the entire story of their lives together to the blank-slated droid.

General Discussion It's very simple and stylized (I'm not the best at drawing), but what do you think about this Desert temple concept art i made for my Minecraft AU? Did I inspired it the Arabian-Norman style correctly? What can I fix if there are problems, and how?

Post image

DISCLAIMER: I know I already posted this before, but I deleted the post since the title wasn't enough clear

(This post is directed mostly towards people who know in a certain manner the building style I'm talking about. Responses from people who are actually Arab or Italian who have knowledge about it are also appreciated)

I made this for my Minecraft AU (Alternative universe) I’ll create in in detail in-game when I have the chance. It’s been a while since I last spoke about it, recently I started to consider to make the land where it is set based on Italy, while it meant not showing the Jungle temple, I still want to find a solution to show the Desert one.

I decided to inspire this design on the “Duomo di Cefalù” (in Palermo, Sicily… yes, that means a desert landscape would be set in a Sicily-inspired area, I’ll try to find an explanation) and on the Arabic-Norman medieval architecture itself.

Since the Desert temple in Minecraft vanilla looks like a Nubian Pyramid I had to change it, into a Arabic-Norman structure to make it fit with the Italian-based setting also removing the Ankh symbols. Also, since it’s not a Pyramid I chose to replace the pyramidal structure with a triple Dome (based on another building of the same style, the “Chiesa of San Cataldo”)… wich honestly are the part wich ended up worse since I wasn’t able to show the lenght of the building.
Maybe the chiseled sandstone blocks would be remnants of ancient frescoes or mosaics wich were ruined by the time passing.

Despite all, I’m still kind of unsure about how this concept turned out. I aknowledge that maybe some problems are caused by the schematic and simple nature of the concept art (I’m not the best at drawing) and I’ll probably show a full design when I will build it on Minecraft. Also my intention is to create a structure based on the actual style, not a carbon copy, while still beign true to both arabic-norman architecture and the Minecraft desert temple as much as possible.

So, I ask this to people who know the style I’m talking about, what do you think about it? If I made some mistakes, how can I fix them while still staying true to the vanilla desert temple and the arabic-norman style?

I apologize if I sounded rude

Lore Dump Lore for Pokemon Trainer Regions (incomplete)

Reddit's gonna fuck up the formatting so warning there.

I've been on a Pokemon kick lately so I've been laying the groundwork for some of the Trainer regions. If you've seen Pokemon Ranger stuff posted, I'm that person and this is congruent with my Ranger stuff. For the most part, this stuff is meant to be like 7500 years in the past where legendaries are teaching humans lessons.

Creation

  • Arceus is creator
  • Only survivor of a cataclysmic battle from another world - all was unstable as he stood on the ashes of the previous world - only thing stable was him - not even space and time were stable - alone, he was buffeted and nearly destroyed - he tried to bring stability to reality, but he wasn’t able to by himself - resulted in creation of three dragons - Dialga and Palkia stablised space and time while Giratina stabilised matter - however, Giratina was unstable in var temperament which made matter itself unstable - only one non-stable area remained, so Arceus banished Giratina to that area which became known as the Distortion World - resembles the world in its form before all was stabilised - where the worst destruction of the previous world happened and nobody could do anything about it
  • Dialga and Palkia helped set the foundation of the universe which included many stars and galaxies - all was good for at ime until Dialga and Palkia began to fight which threatened the stability of the universe itself - frustrated, Arceus created the Lake Guardians to be able to calm the two dragons - both couldn’t be subdued at the same time but it was enough to stop all of spacetime from being torn apart
  • Arceus missed life and decided to create a planet he could watch over - created one point called the Spear Pillow which was the origin of the world and began building from there - once satisfied with the world, he created Mew to begin adapting to the planet which which happened slowly over the course of millions of years
  • Pokémon could be overly aggressive and destructive at times, threatening the harmony of the world especially with powerful ones like the Regis and Weather Trio developed - Arceus created beings from earth, water, air, fire - these beings could do many things, but were weak and easily pushed around - the Guardian Trio saw them lacking and gifted them willpower, emotion, knowledge - this allowed these beings to be creative and think in ways Pokémon were unable to at the time - gave them dominion over Pokémon to a large degree and allowed them to control the environment and Pokémon on the whole
  • However, led to conflict between humans and Pokémon which had no ability to think or reason - Arceus had the Guardian Trio give Pokémon the same abilities as humans - led to increased conflict between humans and Pokémon with humans afraid of the creatures on the whole - led to fortified strongholds and weapons used by humans to defend against Pokémon
  • Creation of Pokémon like Birds, Beasts, original dragons, etc to act as bridge between humans and Pokémon - act as teachers and begin to be seen as actual gods by humans as Arceus focuses on only a few regions including Sinnoh, Fiore, and Oblivia - 7500 years before modern age

Johto

  • Worship Lugia and Ho-oh with the beasts being seen as demigods
  • Celebi?

Lugia and Ho-oh are the center of Johto’s religion and culture. They have shrines and adherents in Kanto, but the three birds are preferred to Ho-oh and Lugia. There is overlap due to the regions being so close, but Kantonians and Johtans have their preferences. These legendaries and their teachings had a deep impact on Johto and Kanto, though to a lesser degree.

Ho-oh is a relatively calm, detached force that doesn’t often get involved in human affairs as he prefers to watch and observe. However, his teachings have left and impact. He wanted humans to learn to be calm in the face of hardship and turmoil. He came down harder on humans than Pokémon, though, as they were often the aggressors in conflict which frustrated him to no end. He equipped them with psychic powers that would force them to learn to be calm and controlled, thus explaining the high level of psychics in Johto compared to other regions. He mostly met those that were considered leaders as he preferred to let humans govern and take care of their own affairs instead of having them rely on him.

Lugia took the opposite approach and spent a lot of time among all strata of humans. Part of her felt responsible after Ho-oh spent so much time apart from humans. She felt like humans could be calmer, but not the way Ho-oh went about it was wrong. She equipped humans with compassion for themselves and others. She set the groundwork for kindness and empathy to overflow from the people of Johto from others.

The beasts opted to act more as administrators and organisers instead of being direct teachers. They were down among the people of Johto and helping humans to rebuild as well as smoothing over friction between humans and Pokémon. After so many issues between them, a lot of bridges needed to be built and civilisations rebuilt. Arceus made multiple beasts to help all corners of the region rebuild and work as administrators as writing and other issues came up.

Celebi helped develop the first writing system in the world not based off of Unown and allowed humans to begin recording their history. This system spread to Kanto as well, making the two regions to record their histories. This made Johto want to preserve its legacy and pass down knowledge across time. Johto has the longest record of any region, but it’s still incomplete and biased as any history is.

Hoenn

  • Worship Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza mainly - Regis seen as primal forces
  • Latis?
  • Jirachi?

Hoenn was the region where humans got their start despite the Guardian Trio being in Sinnoh. Sinnoh is where the world started but humans. Arceus began humans in Hoenn because Kyogre and Groudon were causing so many issues for the area due to their constant fighting. Arceus needed beings to calm the constant fighting, so he created humans. However, it took the Guardian Trio stepping in to really be able to quell the fighting as humans needed knowledge to be creative and come up with how the orbs worked. Knowledge brought creativity which allowed humans to be able to do things never intended. This was before teacher legendaries were created; humans and Pokémon were still in conflict. Humans used their knowledge to extract life force from Pokémon to bind Kyogre and Groudon to the Blue and Red Orbs in order to put them to sleep so they would never cause harm to the world again. Rayquaza was similarly bound to the Sky Pillar so it would sleep and not cause issues for humans down the road.

After that, Arceus created multiple Latis and Jirachi to work as the teachers for humans in this region. Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza are the deities worshiped and treated as creation gods, but the Latis are treated as the teachers they are. The Regis are from the same era as the Weather Trio and were similarly sealed away as they caused much damage to the world and strife overall.

Latios and Latias were harbingers of harmony and understanding, something sorely needed as humans and Pokémon had been in conflict for so long. Generally, Latios was more reserved than their sisters but were all about harmony and ensuring balance between all living things. His ability to travel quickly made him able to answer conflict calls in an incredible amount of time. Pokémon were still new to having the capacity for language and intelligent thought. So far, no humans had developed the capacity to understand Pokémon, so it was up to the legendaries to help smooth out conflicts. Latios was the main one, though, as he valued harmony and balance above all else.

Latias was incredibly sweet and gentle, teaching humans about empathy and love above all else. She struggled deeply when it came to being a mediator like her brother. She was a great teacher but truly struggled when it came to flaring tempers and misunderstandings. Humans and Pokémon alike were good at misunderstanding themselves and each other across species boundaries as well as within.

Jirachi was the teacher of kindness and potential. There was overlap with what Latias taught, but there were differences. Jirachi taught love and warmth for all living things as well as patience. Humans had developed agriculture and were beginning to work with Pokémon, but humans could still be impatient. This led to Jirachi choosing specific evolutions lines to have patience and would overflow with love even when humans struggled to.

Sinnoh

  • Worship Arceus and dragons mainly - lake trio seen as saints or something
  • Heatran?
  • Cress/Dark?
  • Manaphy?
  • Shaymin?

Heatran, Darkrai, Cresselia, Manaph, Shaymin were among the first teachers to begin talking to humans to approach them. Shaymin and Manaphy were the first ones accepted by humans due to the fact they were cute and seemed relatively harmless though they were truly powerful in their own rights. Agriculture had begun to spread among humans 7500 years ago, so Shaymin bounced around the region to start teaching humans about pollination, selective breeding, and such. Manaphy taught them about irrigation and how to work with Pokémon for such purposes. Humans were reluctant to trust wild Pokémon as there had been thousands of years of conflict up until this point. Wild Pokémon were similar as they expected humans to come after them with weapons. Not having experienced this, Manaphy and Shaymin had to work to get humans and Pokémon to understand each other and build bridges where there had been none before.

Darkrai and Cresselia were guardians against the Distortion World leaking into the waking world. THere are many layers of the Distortion World and humans and Pokémon can touch them when asleep. Darkrai is the main guardian of this layer to make sure it doesn’t harm people and bleed too deeply into their psyches. Negative emotions can cause people to enter the Rift of Reverie and make them vulnerable to Echofiends which can possess a person and leak into the waking world. Cresselia helps people that went too far into the Rift return. They’ve taught other legendaries across the regions how to do the same thing and had Arceus grant them the same abilities so humans and Pokémon from other regions don’t end up in the Rift. Certain Pokémon lines across regions act on Darkrai and Cresselia’s behalves to help safeguard against the Rift. Some humans in the modern world have made it their job to keep and rescue others from the Rift.

Heatran was not a force for destruction despite being tied to volcanoes which still fill a lot humans with fear and awe. As a powerful Fire type, Heatran was feared due to the ability to cause a lot of destruction. However, Heatran had a steady temperament and never lashed out unless something truly heinous happened. Lots of people saw stuff like wildfires as bad, but Heatrans helped them see it another way as purifying and transformation. Humans had mastered fire a long time before, but they continued to treat much of it with respect and some level of fear. Heatran began to teach them that fire can be used to help purify the land as well as spirits and minds. Meditation and mindfulness became hallmark cornerstones of Sinnoh’s religious practices and culture.

Arceus maintained close ties with Sinnoh and eventually allowed Giratina to come back from the Distortion World as va had had actually done what Arceus himself couldn’t do: bring some sort of stability to the area. It would never truly be stable, but Giratina had made layers of the Distortion World that halped after some continuity. Arceus then granted Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina human forms so that way humans would be able to learn from them as well. They didn’t spend much time in any other region but Sinnoh, though they occasionally dropped by Oblivia to see what humans were doing. They let the other legendaries there do what they were doing in most of the teaching.

Dialga spent time teaching that time is a river that flows. It can be guided but shouldn’t be directed or forced into a singular route. The course is not fully set but outside influences can and will change said flow. Celebi (unknown in Sinnoh) works for Dialga and Arceus, keeping an eye the river but not changing the current unless there’s good reason to (see: Summer). Humans learned to not meddle with time and to allow changes to happen as they are inevitable and natural.

Palkia taught about the way everything is interconnected. Va taught how one decision can change the flow of time and how celestial bodies impact each other. Va didn’t go into things like relativity or quantum mechanics at great depth, but va did some basic explanations. Palkia’s teachings focused on the sanctity of life from the smallest bug to Arceus Himself. No one life form was more important than another and all life was to be respected.

Giratina focused on the cyclical nature of life and balance between all things. All things must be born and somehow die. Spirits and souls are not recycled, but all things come from the ground and must return to it someday. All souls come from Arceus and must eventually return as well. Death, mistakes, and hardship are all simply a part of life and all such things must be respected as teachers in their own right.

Unova

  • Worship original dragon
  • Musketeers?
  • Victini?
  • Meloetta?
  • Kami?

The core of Unova’s religion is that of worshiping the original dragon before it split. It was named Eryndra and was the ruler of Unova for a long time. It ruled fairly and evenly, making Unova one of the first regions to have Pokémon and humans work together and respect each other despite the eons of tension and fighting between them.

The musketeers and Keldeo were martial pacifists that were defenders of Pokémon in the era before Eryndra when humans weren’t able to listen to Pokémon. After Eryndra’s creation, they fell into helping humans create and enforce laws across the region. They didn’t like fighting despite being called the Swords of Justice. They preferred to use words to sort things out, though it could be tough until Eryndra brought peace ot he region.

Arceus did not create Eryndra in the initial batch of legendaries meant to teach humans as the other regions had proven to take well to the teachers. Unova, though, proved to be different with people and Pokémon continuing to fight. A war broke out and Arceus created Eryndra to quell the fighting. The extremely powerful dragon laid waste to a huge area of the region and forced a peace treaty between humans and Pokemon. This allowed the other legendaries to step in and truly become the teachers they were meant to be.

Meloetta taught the humans of Unova about joy and warmth. It’s not that they were incapable of such emotions, but after the war as well as the constant conflict, they needed to be taught how to love life and open up as well. Meloetta taught all sorts of music and dances to the people in order to help them open up and see life as more than work and hardship.

The Nature Trio also worked hard to teach humans important lessons despite being seen as lesser. Tornadus was largely teaching about adaptability and the need for change in all things through life. Considering the changes that Eryndra brought to the region on the whole, this was hugely important. Humans had largely stagnated due to being hold up in fortified settlements and not growing as much as other regions. That and, with Eryndra working with the Musketeers, big changes were happening which needed to be accounted for.

Thundurus was teaching how to use power with responsibility. However, this was a lesson aimed at both people and Pokémon. Despite the truce, the Pokémon were more reluctant to let go and allow bygones to be bygones. With Eryndra ruling over, the Pokémon though they should have dominion over the weaker humans. Eryndra backed Thundurus’ message and had the Musketeers enforce it on a legal and societal level. Many Pokémon felt cheated but submitted to Eryndra’s will.

Landorus leaned more into teaching humans rather than Pokémon. His teachings were about stability and harmony. While both sides had lost a lot in the war, humans had lost a lot more than Pokémon due to Eryndra’s wrath. Most of their settlements had been destroyed and they’d been forced to rebuild. Eryndra made Pokémon help as so much had been lost .Humans wanted to dominate and control nature which Landorus taught them not to do. Humans began to understand stability without excessive dominion and subjugation.

Victini was another important piece after the war. Both humans and Pokémon were mentally distraught and destroyed. Combined with Meloetta, Victini taught about pushing beyond limits and how all beings have limitless potential. The beginnings of Pokémon training began taking hold as both beings began to move closer together. Pokémon that had struggled with certain things began to flourish as humans could be outside observers in a way Pokémon themselves couldn’t be.

Orre

  • Celebi, Ho-oh, Musketeers, Zeraora, Meloetta, Darkrai/Cresselia who abandoned dream abilities, Latis
  • Legendaries are more land guardians than teachers — protect land from those that wish it harm — land of extreme abundance that had a large population of humans and Pokémon alike — relative peace and harmony for millennia until humans began to get greedy and started hoarding resources that resulted in inequalities and issues among populations — splintered and fractured into multiple kingdoms that started to go to war with each other frequently
  • The legendaries begged the human leaders to stop fighting as Cresselia saw nothing but destruction down this path — wanted the region to continue to flourish, but monarchs ignored warnings — battles raged for centuries and the land slowly began to wither bit by bit — legendaries continued warnings but they were ignored
  • Eventually large swaths of the region were desert — people leaving to find better places to live — region began to collapse rapidly 500 years before present — kingdoms withered aside from one which turned into democracy in the Unova Revolution timespan — rest of region is desert with lots of ghost towns and small, scattered dwellings — some people took to wandering the harsh desert, so nomads go from oasis to oasis — Captura Crystals can be found in desert and allows some bands of nomads to make some sort of money not just from robbing random travelers
  • The last war that happened in Orre had a cataclysmic battle where huge amounts of energy were released due to the Pokémon attacks being used — raw Infinity Energy that then crystallised into Captural Crystals, a major component in producing Pokéballs — Pyrite Town had a crystal mine on top of a normal mine, but with as delicate as the crystals are, the rough mining methods caused mass quantities to break and not be viable — League regions didn’t want to invest, so they left and only buy crystals from nomads now
  • Wild Pokémon exist in region but low type variety — mostly Rock/Ground types that can survive in desert heat or ones like Cacnea line

Writing Help Skyrim Fanfiction Passion Project (A slight AU that tries to stick to canon)

Hello everyone! This is my first post here but for a while now I've been working on a fanfiction that I think you will all enjoy! Read below:

Context: Skyrim, a world we all know and love. Have you ever wondered what it was like in it's distant past? I have...and with your help I think I can provide some answers.

I'm thinking of making a shared universe, one we could all write in. A new C0DA following the ideas of Kirkbride but also going there own way as needed.

The First Era was a crazy time for Tamriel, Skyrim included. Originally this started as a fanfiction, then a roleplay...even a modding project at one point. Now I'm thinking of taking it back to it's roots. Back to fan fiction.

The story would be set between the Year 645 and Year 700 of the First Era, showing Skyrim, Cyrodiil and Morrowind as they all change forever with the expansion of the Alessian Empire, the disapperance of the dwemer and the ever changing cultures.

For those interested in joining this passion project and contibuting to a shared literary universe/C0DA please reach out and let's make something special!

Lore Dump Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Space Opera AU

Context

The information within this post is related to “Project Vigilant” / P.V, a short is an unofficially named, predominately fan-fiction and partially original world-building project that I have been working on at a “snails pace” since 2018 with no envisioned completion date. The project is an attempt at merging elements from no more than 125 of my favorite I.P’s and an assortment of original work in the genres of sci-fi, fantasy and alternate-history into a singular “patchwork universe” that I refer to as the Project Vigilant Universe or P.V.U for short.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The "Riordanverse" and more specifically, PJO and HoO ( Heroes of Olympus ) are one of the 125 I.P's that I have incorporated into P.V.

As weird as this might sound, my favorite character in the Riordanverse is Leo Valdez and my favorite ship is Leo x Calypso. While Leo is a fan favorite, "Caleo" is widely considered to be the most boring, unnecessary and problematic relationship in the entire series. I, however, think it is cute and has a lot of potential.

A few years ago, and for reasons that are now lost to me, I decided that my preferred direction for Caleo in P.V would be to give their relationship a greek tragedy theme that would be losely inspired by that of Anakin and Padme's tragic relationship in Star Wars. The story I ended up developing for Leo and Calypso was a little too grand for the canonical scale of the Riordanverse and this further inspired me to rewrite both PJO and HoO into a Star Wars inspired "Space Opera".

Currently, my Riordanverse Space Opera A.U is on the back burner because it conflicts with a few other I.P's in Project Vigilant. Recent experiences however, have inspired me to share what I came up with.

-

So the idea is that the Greek Gods/Olympians are a group of very powerful alien beings that are very similar to "The Eternals" from Marvel. The Olympians were created by The Titans, who are portrayed in P.V as being almost identical to Marvel's "Celestials".

The Olympians were created to guide and influence the population of a planet known as Olympus as Olympus was an egg of sorts for a future Titan whose growth would be fueled by the life force of Olympus's natives.

The Olympians, who derived their name from the planet, discovered that the Titans created a new batch of beings like them for every planet that fostered a new Titan and once the Titan of Olympus was born, they would be erased and replaced. Unwilling to succumb to this fate, the Olympians aborted the Titan of Olympus and stole it's accumulated life force to grant themselves power akin to The Titans who they battled and imprisoned in a dimension known as Tartarus.

All of the Titans were imprisoned in Tartarus except for Kronos who was killed before his remains were flung into deep space and through space-time.

In P.V, Kronos's remains will be portrayed similarly to the "Headless Celestial" in Marvel rivals.

Note: Star Trek is another I.P that appears in Project Vigilant, I am considering the possibility of having the remains of Kronos and the Klingon home-world of Qo'NoS be the same place, wherein the Klingons, as a species, would be a living fragment of Kronos's consciousness that rapidly evolved on the dead Titan's remains. I think a warmongering species that spawned on the corpse of a dead god is metal as fuck.

-

Presenting themselves to the natives of Olympus as the planet's saviors, The Olympians became the God Kings of the planet and wielded strange and fantastical power over it similar to "The Tribunal" in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

Sometime later, the native Olympians, having achieved interstellar travel via a proverbial Golden Age that was ushered in by the Gods discovered that one or more star systems close to Olympus were distant colonies of an interstellar superpower known as The Galactic Republic. Due to centuries of brutal and endless war with The Sith, these colonies had become cut off from the Republic and were on the brink of collapse from the resulting isolation.

The Olympians approached the colonies and used their power to save them from disaster before taking them over and combining the colonies Republic institutions with those of Olympus to form a new interstellar power known as The Celestial Republic, a semi-democratic theocracy made up of species that were "uplifted" by the Olympians.

In Earth time, The Celestial Republic was established at some point before 1500 BCE so all of the previously detailed lore occurred before that point.

For obvious reasons, Olympus was made the capital of the Celestial Republic.

The Celestial Republic uses the insignia of the Galactic Republic ( The Galactic Roundel ) but it's colors are different.

I envision the aesthetics of the Celestial Republic as being similar or identical to this concept for "Greco-Futurism" by Pablo Antonio. In P.V, Greek Architecture was developed as a crude attempt to mimic the aesthetics of the Celestial Republic

-

At some point before 1450 BCE, the Olympians discovered Earth. They took a liking to Earth's native humans but chose not to uplift them, instead they started treating Earth the same way rich Americans treat Thailand ( Sex Tourism ).

Initially, the Olympians limited their activity on Earth to ancient Greece where they would often but not always, assume human forms and become worshipped as Gods due to their fantastical power.

Humans were the first species encountered by the Olympians who the Olympians could produce viable offspring ( Demi-Gods ) with.

Mt. Olympus is named after planet Olympus and the summit of the mountain contained a space-bridge that connected Earth to Olympus.

For yet to be determined reasons, the Olympians retreated from Earth in around 281 B.C. This departure weakened ancient Greek civilization, eventually leading to it's fall and conquest by the Romans.

-

Like the previously mentioned Tribunal, the power of the Olympians is actually finite and fades with time. Unfortunately, the Olympians do not have a valid means of replenishing their power so they decided to use their power sparingly whilst relying on "mortals" and mortal ingenuity to do a lot of things for them.

At some point in the 1930s, the Olympians power over Tartarus became weak enough that the Titan's were able to exert power over space-time from beyond it and raise armies of monsters and recruit allies to assault the Celestial Republic. This prompted the Olympians to return to Earth where they began siring Demi-Gods again and training them in the then newly established Camp Half Blood to function as elite soldiers within the armies of the Celestial Republic against the Titans and their monster hordes + allies.

P.V's version of PJO would begin in 2005.

P.V's version of HoO would begin in the late 2010s or early 2020s. Leo would be something of a Padawan/squire/apprentice to Percy who is in his 20s by that point.

Calypso would be portrayed as an alien Queen, similar to Padme.

I was envisioning that the Celestial Republic's head of state is an older Demigod who is secretly in-league with The Titans after becoming disillusioned with the Olympians. This character would fill a role similar to Palpatine while being more morally grey by comparison.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway that's all I have for now.

Writing Help Trying to explore aspects of my Destiny X Mass Effect story, some help would be appreciated if people also right and know the lore of both games

Currently I've been working on a project that's been on the back burner for a while,

Basically the premise is this:

in this universe The Traveler changed everything for every species, for every cycle with the reapers it was always there, essentially making it impossible for the reapers to have a fighting chance, while many lives and species were lost the reapers suffered casualties that made each cycle more impossible, because of this by the time of their last cycle, the protheans, they had fallen into the low hundreds, this was largely due in part To every cycle having at least one planet with access to the paracausal technology, combining this with access to the relays system. planets could supply weaponry in days or weeks, So in order to ensure their cycle they targeted The travelers currently chosen, essentially crippling the Milky Way, before eventually targeting the leaders in the form of the protheans, Because of this full frontal assault from both forces when the traveler eventually fled its path seemingly, intentionally. took out several reapers along with major witness forces, severely crippling both ends, while still leading to the fall of the prothean people, But not before they set up their systems of defense, Unfortunately, these systems of defense were only intended for the reapers, not the witness forces

Eventually, when it was Earth's, turn the arrival of the traveler on Mars prevented the initial discovery of the prothean ruins and Charon relay, It's signature initially being mistaken as a result of the traveler, because of this, Rather than meeting their intergalactic neighbors humans advance just as they did in the Destiny universe with The traveler's light, leading to the events of the collapse and to the sacrifice of the traveler, shortly after the collapse, and the birth of the Ghost, thousands out of the millions (for the sake of myself only on working on the idea that the traveler created exactly 999,999,999 Ghost and roughly maybe 70'000 ghost left the sol system) created left, thier lightbearers weren't on earth; or the sol system, that knew that they had to leave, not knowing that thier chosen would be not just humans, but amongst the Species of citadel space,The story began

shortly after the events of forsaken, starting with three Guardians as our major narrators and starting group, Tezcatlipoca, Kenji-9, and Zephyr Fel, They learn of the existence of the Charon relay solely due to being given a mission by Ikora Rey, Who had discovered it on Mars some centuries earlier, and tasked herself and her hidden with slowly studying it and repairing it believing it to initially be some type of weapon, however, after finding the original ruins and learning of its true purpose, they task the fireteam with using the relay to see if any of its systems are still operational, but also hoping it takes them to several listed locations with potential weaponry and defenses for the last city, however on because of the previous cycles and a witness itself, more relays are missing from this timeline then the actual Mass Effect timeline, because of this, the relay takes them straight to the heart of citadel space, unintentionally starting a war with the last city. In citadel space, including "High rider" humans (humans who survived the collapse due to being on Exodus ships that made it out during the Golden age, creating and fracturing into both Cerberus and Alliance)

I definitely know this. Looks like rambling and sometimes that is an issue with me but I feel like the synopsis does help, especially in relation to these three major issues I'm exploring

  1. Ghost bond with non human/high rider lightbearers:

I know the witch queen and Luzaku explore this concept but what I am trying to explore is A. Ghost bonding with people who don't even understand what they or the ghost is but know they rely on them and it isn't just a quid pro quo relationship but could be any manner of relationship since they don't have a history as enemies, and B. Ghosts who have the goal of helping their brethren on earth and the traveler but left so early, to the point that they don't even know anything about the Warlords and Iron Lords so they are just as disconnected as their chosen lightbearers

2.The concept of light, immortality, and paracausality in council space: mostly this is to explore the concept of how light bearers outside of the solar system will explore and develop their paracausality, They don't have the schools of thought like Titans, Warlock, and Hunter But perhaps they could develop something similar, However, the major difference between them and earth Is that they don't get the luxury of being more abstract with the concept of what they develop in terms of powers, citadel space is high tech, fast shooting, and technologically direct, the working idea I have is that their "supers" Would more likely be gun enhancement for specific archetypes such as void-based techniques for snipers, solar for handguns, and arc assault rifles, What a few exceptions I'm making for the story. Most of these will still just revolve around guns with little to no abstractness or melee, But also the idea of how do you get someone to easily adapt to the idea that they can never die and that they or living engine of effect without a cause since they don't have other light bearers teaching them, and assuming that a lot of them are passing their own current logic of their situation down to others they meet (again, Destiny is a lot more vague than Mass Effect so I'm working on the consensus that The timeline takes place roughly in 1000-1200 years after the golden age so roughly 35 to 36th century)

3.How to explore different governments and militaries in relation to these light bearers and to the concept of sol system lightbearers and ways to naturally make the clash:

If we all know anything about the Mass Effect Universe, there is absolutely no way that any non-sol system/ high rider guardian is staying hidden for long, especially from a military of their own species, Almost each species would have some type of messed up response to the lightbearers of their species, salarians With unethical experimentation, Turians with forced military service in what are essentially suicide missions, and then there's the alliance and Cerberus, To human factions vying for the high seat of the Galaxy with very different methods, and once they figure out the concept of light bearers you can absolutely guarantee they will or work those people to the bones if they can force him too, chances are narratively it. It's already going to happen. What I'm trying to explore is what happens when each of these groups realize the major factors of A. Their lightbearers aren't the only ones, B. They actually have the minority or the exceptions compared to most that are light bearers, and C. The solar system light bearers are not only seasoned in ways that you would only expect from an asari commando or a krogan, they have full mastery of the aspects of their abilities and have developed training systems and they can't compare to due their abstractness and mythicism, And also outside of these aspects if many of them can get spies to the sol system they realize that ghosts aren't just their own thing, that there is an actual God presiding on on the wasteland that is Earth over one city in the entire Milky Way, One that not only has humans that were essentially abandoned by their high rider counterparts, but also humans that casually have demigods walking among them As their neighbor, partner, teacher, or even their drinking buddy

I love writing, it's just sometimes I struggle with building concepts of myself outside of stuff like characters, powers, and weapons, things like fictional politics and military exploration and Large scale cultural changes and shifts are a bit of a struggle to me, which is mainly why I came here, I was hoping to get some help and opinions so I generally be grateful for whatever I can get, And if you're just reading it. Thanks for stopping by anyways.

Lore Dump FACTIONS of the extinction War.

This a more of a Simplier Lore about my Project's war and who's fighting for it.

If you want to know more about it. I'll link you to the general of the war. But has grammical Errors and spelling that I will improve from here and later on.

I will be telling you who they are, Why they're involved and what Role they be treated as. But easier to follow examples.

The Main "Faction"

𝕌.𝔽.ℕ (United Federation of Nation):

Who they are? U.F.N (United Federation of Nation.) Exist due to the overwhelming power by two Factions that are in a constant tug of war. The Imperial Empire and the Decepticons Regime.

It's less of Earth changed it's name. But, it's all Faction inside of a Nation.

Who's the allies?

-Earth's remainments of the United Nations and Sector Seven.

-Panthoria. The Faction that gave the idea to form a new United Nation.

-The Galactic Republic

-N.U.N.S (New United Nations Spacy.)

-Autobots

-Earth Federations

-Helghan Empire.

-Mutio

What Roles does the U.F.N and the allies have?

PANTHORIA: the Bolts of the engine

Panthoria's role as a Ally and Faction.

They don't mainly fight. But, they're more behind the scenes but do fight in occasions incase something went wrong or catastrophic events. They're role is more the care taker and the Boss of the U.F.N.

Panthoria isn't well liked and being untrustworthy. Due to thier heavy amount of secrets that Panthoria themselves do not trust giving it to. It's less about Power and ownership. But more a failsafe if the Factions betray and decided to cripple Panthoria and its secret allies.

Due to their incomplete demi-god status. They do not deploy often. But they do for extreme and dangerous missions that an avarage grunt can't do.

Mutio is still considered part as "Panthoria" not as it's own Faction. Despite it's there as being it's own Faction.

Weapons and vehicles:

Panthoria mainly use Melee and Stealth. But some of their spieces are brawl but uses Melee weapons aswell.

Their vehicles are traded with Mutioan Vehicles. But more Robotic.

Yet, we never see their vehicles beside their Bombers who appears to look like giant Robot Lobsters.

As we go over with Mutio.

Mutio is one of the planet and allies that Panthoria did not tell the Allied of U.F.N about it existence. Aswell they're Isolation from the world. As they prefer to be alone or not be interfere. Unless your friendly or allied with Panthoria.

MUTIO'S ROLE AS A ALLY:

Mutio's Role is Patrolling and Stragetic advantage for the U.F.N. with their small probes and their weaponary that can withstand defeating a Star Destroyer.

They're reasoning of why they joined the war:

They were invaded by the Imperial Forces. The Imperial in a success rate of an invasion is 80%. They occupied and enslave the Mutioans and their Island. But Panthoria picked up immediately when they realized their secret Ally was being invaded. With their knowledge, they throw the U.F.N and forced to talk about Mutio's existence. Originally, they were going to orbital strike the Island. Due to heavy presence of Imperial forces. Until they realized that they've been taking the natives hostile. So, the invaded the planet to save them.

During the Invasion. Mutioans stole and re-engineering Imperial technology to fight against them. Forcing them to adapt like their ancestors and fight the Invaders.

After the U.F.N successfully thrown out the Imperials. The result of deaths and Destruction of their planet. Caused them to go into a blind raging spiral. Declaring war of Imperial Empire and the Decepticons.

With the technology they stole from Imperial. They became a industrial Military Faction. Creating submarines thay are city size, sea animal war machines and Created a new Mutioan Role, Commanders.

The Commanders and their Role:

The Commanders were invented during the Imperial invasion. They exist for Humans to be in contact and help the Humans on Earth.

Are the Commanders bio engineers? New spieces?:

They're trained Normie Mutioans. They don't have any advantages other than a Translator and commanding Ships. An Avarage Mution can be a Commander with training and learning other cultures. As they meant to be More human with expression and feel. As a avarage Mutioans are blank state due to their disinterested and lack of aliens coming to their planet by Panthoria hidden them.

Their apperance are more Human and attractive. Despite the avarage Mutioans are a homage to Blue Submarine no.6 Mutio.

They look more Human. Yet, they painted their bodies in a dominately tiger stripe paints. To reveal their position.

Relationship with the U.F.N: Despite they're unsettling Lack of Emotions. They are important to the war. Due to their technology and how they change U.F.N Stragetic advantages. Mutioans are treated mythical but not worshipped. Due to some of their machines can withstand a Star Destroyer.

They're friendly Ally and the Humans and the Clones sees them as a useful assests but also fascinated of their giant leap of technology and adaption. Eerily similar how Panthoria evolve.

Weapons and Vehicles:

Mutioan Weapons are more plasma energy based but also aqua harpoon gund aswell. Their energy plasma feels organic and alive. But the shell are just the only living things.

Their vehicles are based off their alien Sea creatures. But they look more Earth like.

The bigger their machines. The less organic they look.

As example, their Sword fish Fighter jet is a Earth equivalent as a F-4 Phantom looks alive but face are painted or robotic. The shell plating looks like it's alive. But underneath is just technology.

Mutioan's biggest vehicles:

The Submarines. Since they're aquatic dominate. 80% of the Mutioans are in deep trenches of Earth's Ocean. Their Submarine is their biggest and heavy rely weapons in the U.F.N besides the Clones, Valkryies and Mobile suits.

But with drawbacks. Since they can be in water. Their limitation is, they can cloak invisible. But they cannot fight. When they're not. They can deploy Gas and Torpedoes. But, in order they use rail guns. They have to re-surface themselves to use it.

The gas exist. Because since Earth's water is polluted. They're Sonars are interfering and making it harder to navigate. So, they invented gas to clear the Water's pollution to make it visible. With their gas accidently helped Earth's water to be clearer and breathable dor sealife.

The subs are similar to Russian subs. But bigger and still uses propellers to operate.

They houses thousand Soldiers, Levathians (The Lobster mech.) Stingrays and engineers and pilots.

Levathians: the Vehicle that became a Scar but useful for the War.

Since the design and name are directly based off the Levathians in Atlantis the lost Empire by Disney. The Mutioan Levathians are similar with its tattoos and Organic. Panthorians stripped the tattoos and make it more militaristic robotic.

They're the apex predators on sea and air. Since they can fly on the air for limit amount of time. They create a sound of a Roar. Similar as the Disney version. Bigger next to the empire state building and dangerous to encounter.

The panthorian version included a hidden mode. It can transform into a Robot with amount of rage and pain. But extremely dangerous due to how powerful the avarage Levathians are. Aswell in Both mode, they're unpredictable and increases chances that they will attack anyone. Treating everyone as Hostile.

Both Mutioan and Panthorians have a flight mode.

The other faction inside the U.F.N

N.U.N.S (New United Nation Spacy.): the Gears of the U.F.N

N.U.N.S's Role and as an Ally

The N.U.N.S are treated as the face of the U.F.N with its mech and air superiority for the war. The faction that forces the Imperials and the Decepticons to adapt and evolve to even go toe to toe with its Valkryies.

Since my Project is merely focus on the Delta Era faction. But their HQ is the original SDF-1 they're role and the tide of the War was because of them.

Relationships of the U.F.N:

They're heavily allied with the Galactic Republic. Before the war even started. They gain control of the Clone army secretly. Due to the ally's Senator chancellor Palpatine gives off a dark vibe.

As Panthoria, they sustain and Operate behind and on the scenes for the War. Their Leader, Misa Hayase is the face of the N.U.N.S and the U.F.N. as she is treated as the U.F.N's United opinions. Whatever the republic said, they wanna bomb Imperial camps, Misa will tell their idea.

If the Earth Federation said they wanna focus more on fire power, Misa will be the one saying it.

Weapons and Vehicles:

The N.U.N.S developing only focusing on their biggest grail, the Jets.

An avarage Pilot and ace mainly uses the VF-31A Kairos and some ace uses VF-31s.

Since they are the king of Air combat. They dominate the skies.

THE GALACTIC REPUBLIC: the Strap of the Engine.

Their Roles and being as an Ally:

As said before, they're strong Allies with the N.U.N.S automatically makes them a U.F.N Ally faction.

They're meat grinder and ground superiority is the Clone Army.

The Clones speciality is they're train at birth and more easy to send out to the meat grinder of the extinction war. They don't replace the Humans fully. But they're more active and place between with the Humans and other allies.

Relationship with the U.F.N and the Allies:

As the Clones being useful to the U.F.N, they heavily rely on the Clones to do most of the work. Helping the Humans who are stuck or in immediate support. They were supposed to be treated as expendable. But the N.U.N.S and Panthoria with the Humans and Jedis were against the Idea. Treating them as regular Humans who look the same.

The Clones in the Project are treated as brothers in arms and treated well under the N.U.N.S's ownership. As Human soldiers on Earth like their company and their usefulness. They aren't treated garbage or something they can replace. Panthorians view the same. Due to their culture about future and the babies. Despite their harden military culture.

Vehicles and weapons:

They're weapons hasn't changed much due to their reliability. But, their air combat department, they either evovle the ARC-170 to be transformable with traded technology. Or the Republic created their own valkryies to look different. The Republic is one of the important ally, beside the N.U.N.S and Panthoria for Earth.

Due to the Clones acted Elite and better trained than volunteer Humans. But rely on Air and Panthoria's help to finish battles.

EARTH FEDERATION: the "Failsafe" Faction.

The Role and being as an Ally.

The Earth Federation was being pulled by Shockwave. Being stuck and thrown to the war. As Earth Federations began to join and become the "Failsafe Tank" of the U.F.N military. The Neo Zeons are view as enemy. But not as threatening as the Imperial Army and the Decepticons. The Neo-Zeon doesn't view the U.F.N a hard enemy. But since they allied with the E.F, they don't want to be in the same room as them.

They're Suits are considered as Tanks of thr Army. Only been used if shit goes down hard or having heavy casualties. They are used for Ground and Space. But mainly space dominate.

If a battle went down very badly for the U.F.N, the Suits will be deployed immediately to take out what's causing problems. It's more,

"If you see a Mobile suit. They're absolutely fucked." In both ways. For the Enemy. They're powerful. For the ally, it means they were brink of losing the battle.

Relationship with the U.F.N: They aren't used much on ground. But definitely Dominated in space. Same goes to the valkryies.

They're reliable. But not as much as the Clones and the Valkryies. They work more as a clean up crew than anything. Their main Suits are Jegan in space and the GM IIIs on ground. Rare times they bring the Jegans on ground incase the GM IIIs are destroyed.

Legendary pilots like Amuro is not seen on ground but dominately in space. But gain connect with Minmey.

Weapons and Vehicles:

Their weapons are replaced by Clone armory and stolen Imperial weapons that are re-engineered like the Mutioans did to Imperial technology. They still have ground soldiers but they're rare to see but appear more in North american and Europe theater.

Their vehicles are their heavy reliance. With mobile Suits. But the U.F.N rarely used them for Ground but dominately used for Space as I mentioned multiple times before.

THE AUTOBOTS: the savior and motivation of why they keep going.

The Role and them being as an ally: Despite they arrive late,

They helped the U.F.N more than what they can provided. Especially when the Autobots were just small remainings of their dying government.

They traded and help the Humans and its other Allies to fight mainly the decepticons. But, you don't see them much.

The relationship of the U.F.N:

They're treated as saviors but aswell annoying to fight alongside. Due to their "Worried about life and nature" by their words. As they refused to use their powerful weapons. Since they develop a thought if, they broung it to them. They bring more destruction than saving their own lives.

Optimus Prime is the reason why the Government and the War hasn't lost.

The Autobots has three Primes.

Galaxy Prime (future Prime but aswell main Optimus right hand man. But uses the cybertron anime design.)

Optimus Prime himself (using the War for cybertron version. But treated as a wise and master with a mindset of "we should all fight. Or die trying!")

And Bayverse optimus. But he refers as his old name Orion. His role is the general of the autobot Army. But gave up his Prime name due to his nature of hatred of the decepticons.

Optimus and the Autobot leans more on Panthoria due to their mythical status. As the Queen and Optimus has "Chemistry" with each other. As their more heavy Alliance is with Panthorians.

The Autobots are not portrayed as desperate, Violent or blood thirsty faction. Despite the Project is about their darker side of Humanity.

They're more as Munks that wanted peace and less carnage. If they were forced to fight and kill. They have to for their own live and prevent extinction. They don't like. But, they have to for the sake of their allies and themselves.

Vehicles and weaponary:

They ARE the vehicles. But majority are still using cybertronian vehicle modes. Especially Optimus. The Earth mode Transformers are just mainly Scouts. Bumblebee, Jazz, Ironhide and cliff Jumper are using Earth mode vehicles as an example.

Their weaponary boosted their technology and tides of the war. Same reason as Mutio.

With the Autobots present. The war wouldn't be one sided or hint of them all died out.

Optimus make sure that the Spieces of earth and his new allies to end the war and outlive the extinction.

Their weapons are mainly used for the Autobots and the mechs only. But their weaponary for humans are upgraded to weaken the Decepticon's soldier. Before, the Decepticons are dominate in the war. But after the Autobots. Few showed up.

THE HELGHAN EMPIRE:

Their Role and being an ally:

The Helghan Empire did not like the U.F.N Ideology. But, since they had trouble fighting back by the Imperial Fleet. Aswell how powerful the United government is. They decided to Join. Not because they wanna be victims or win everyone's heart. They atleasy agree with one thing.

The U.F.N is powerful, the Helghan and the U.F.N has a big common enemy to fight off.

Relationships on other Allies:

The Helghan's relationship is more Untrustworthy and bitch to command to fight along side. Due to their stubborn and hatred of anything Resembles of the ISA. But after years, they began to be more helpful by listening and less annoying to command.

They realized, if their Tech could leap them into evolution of their military.

By the late stages of War. With the Collabs of Panthoria, Autobots and Sector Seven. They created Gunbuster. A Mech that was created and piloted by Noriko and Jung by the joint alliance between those four factions. The Gunbuster was THE most achievement to the Helghans. But the hardest experiment to pull it off by the U.F.N.

The Helghan and Mutio began deep connection because of their common enemy and collaboration with technology. Yet, two of them has different beliefs.

Mutio wants to be isolated and untouched to do their boring routine forever.

Helghan wants to ally and fight their wars. While revolutionize the Military with collaboration.

Yet, two were invaded by the Imperials. Both does not express much interest of relationship or any emotions.

Mutio is Cycle

Helghan is war

Weapons and vehicles:

The Helghast evolve their Technology to withstand any Imperial and Decepticon attacks. Especially their war machines and dropshipe too. They're designs are the same. But heavy armored to fight toe to toe with Cybertronian and Republic Technology to fight.

As I mentioned, their biggest achen

Last but not least,

U.N/EARTH AND SECTOR SEVEN: the main and focus faction in the Project:

Their Role and being an Ally:

The U.N was exhausted after the Oil War turned into a flaming hot war. While the U.S being at war to it's southern neighbor. They aren't prepared for a war that almost died out by the decepticons and Imperials.

Their role is to Volunteer and guide the new allies of their planet. They're responsible to make sure their planet has not destroyed and needed allies to help and co-exist to fight.

They're more, Victim of war. But still fight as a resistance to defeat and outlive the extinction itself.

Sector Seven had the technology from a down warship. But couldn't understand it. But was rushed to use it. Then created experimental failsafe androids. Such as Lisa a Failsafe android incase if they loose. She will revive the Human race again. But sacrifice her expression and Emotions.

Sector Seven is more the negotiator and more Involvement to the U.F.N than the U.N.

Relationships with the other Allies:

Despite in every Media, aliens are considered "bad" "trying to kill us" or "Humanity first"

The Humans and Sector seven were actually friendly and wanted to the Aliens to help them. They treated other Aliens and allied as one of them. The Soldiers aswell.

Earth has created multiple small factions. The most noticeable ones are the EX-Spetsnaz Faction. A Faction that exist. Due to Russian and Chinese Soldiers were abandoned by their own country and formed to help the U.F.N in Japan, Europe and China. Since Russia and China Does not like being hold hands. Just as the U.N desperate wanted the Allies help. The Ex-Spetsnaz had enough and just help. But they're more allies with the mercenary program that the U.F.N form for the Elites of the Elites of the mercenaries they Hire.

Out of all Factions, Earth is more welcome to be helped. Not only because they're almost dying. But because with new technology, they wanted peace and ally with other aliens and worlds.

Vehicles and Weapons:

Their vehicles are more futuristic with the help of their allies. But Human ace pilots and general Pilots are allowed and fly the Kairos.

Their ground vehicles are borrowed or re-purpose.

Their weapons are mixture of their own and Cybertronian fused with Star wars Tech.

Their isn't going on around here. Since they desperate need help.

After the Earth U.N and Sector Seven. I'll be doing the Decepticons and the Imperial Army with the neutral Factions in the next post. If it gets people interested.

If you have any questions, Critique and even have ideas you wanna share with the factions and the Extinction war lore. Let me know! I'm always ready to answer them! Don't be shy. I like to nerd out my own world.

Lore Dump THE EXTINCTION WAR.

Hi! I'm pretty nervous, I've been working on this project ever since around 12? But it has evovled over the span of almost 20 years.

Alright.

This crossover contains the Factions.

-The Transformers (Autobots and the decepticons.)

-Star wars (Republic, Imperial and C.I.S)

-Gundam (Char's counter attack, E.F.F and Neo zeon)

-Macross (delta Era but with Past characters being used.)

-Killzone (Helghast)

And my original characters and faction. (U.N, Panthoria and Mutio.)

Summary:

The crossover is about, Cybertron has a energy crisis. Senator Shockwave wanted to fix and repair cybertron by going to other worlds to take the riches of energon. But the government refused. Shockwave created a campaign knowing that the Government doesn't wanna do anything but let the planet die.

It was originally a peace protest wanted to protect the planet. Until he was assassinated. But was rebuilt by his new followers. This rages Shockwave. Forming the decepticon faction. D-16 was on his side. They believe the government assassinated him to shut him up. Wich caused a spark of a war. Millions of years later. Shockwave's personal ship crashed landed by D-16 wich he under goes "titus" and left the decepticon Regime. Knowing the war was just more slaughter than helping cybertron. But felt betrayed that Orion became the next prime.

Another decepticon warship crashed landed on earth. Wich the Scavangers. The ancestor of the future founding fathers of the sector seven secret government run by the U.S found the technology. They used it and re-engineering it. Wich they spread by other facilities. Noticeably an island, a Factory that was used for WW2 to turn into a experimental Factory led by sector Seven and Russia. By the cold war hits, Russia denied sharing and spark the cold war. The moon landing happen and realized they found Shockwave's personal warship. The same technology that they found on earth. During the silent years of Shockwave's M.I.A status.

A Planet named Panthoria with its rich and tragic history. A world where the God's used them for their bidding but left abandoned. Evolving into hybrid demigod Warrior society. Their Unfininished DNA causes strange affects but also gave them advantage.

There are speices name

-the Kais, (Nekos)

-Baos (Dogs)

-Uma (horse)

-Lao (Bunnies)

And the Kitsunes.

Each speices has a role.

The Kais are the ribs of society. Soldier and civilian roles. but are loyal, Harden warriors and being Female dominate only.

The Baos Dog like spieces who are dominate male that prefer peace and chill than war. But relationship with Kais are somewhat toxic. They are aswell soldier and civilian roles

The Umas. The Horse male species that are a rare breed and treated as luxury for the Rich, Governments and Elites they're roles are celebrities and slaves. Wich caused a form of rebellion with

The Laos, Bunny race. Male but rare female speices that fight along side with the resistance of being the outcast. Due to their unpredictably and their refusal of orders by the Kais.

The Kitsunes. The Brain and the spine of the society. Queen and government role. They exist due to their ancestors is the gods that they were abandoned by. With their history. They became accepted as the queen of panthorians.

Since thier DNAs and being Demi God's (they can get killed.)

Their apperance of all spieces are female dominate apperance and designs. Basically, They have breast and female design but has genitals of a male. (Weird race.)

In 1799, the Baos found a planet they can fish on. But turns out they found a new race. They're called the Mutioans. As the planet is called Mutio. (Their designs are a Homage to the Mutio from blue submarine no.6) they're lack of emotions due to they don't really care about anything. Doesn't creep the Boas. But the Baos realizing that they been stealing fishes from. Instead ot occupied and stealing. They wanted the planet to be alone. So, they pack their things. Until the Natives told them no. You can stay and share the fishes.

The Mutioans are fascinating creatures. They're lifestyle is just fishing, eating, Sleep and repeat. They hardly evovled due to their "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset. They don't need a futuristic fishing rod to make things easier. If it works, no bother improving. They're lack of emotions and their blank state faces are unique. They don't express much due to isolation for god knows when. They're female only speices, as by 25. They're body formed a Baby. As they produce differently. But can be mated if permission. But the limit is two. Mutio and Panthoria were allied for hundreds of years.

In 1937, an Elite Kai panthorian was secretly trying to escape to Mutio. When she successfully escaped. She realizes something. The Planet has more buildings and more lively world. As she said "impossible, Mutioans never shared interest of these architectures."

The Elite panthorian was on Earth. The Planet that Panthoria was mistakenly thought they were observing Mutio this whole time. A Baby name Ari wae born in 1937. But in the 40s she was abandoned but was picked by the Kai scouts after he mother dissapeared. She was raised and trained to become like her mother. But Ari hated her mother when she realized why she escaped and abandoned her. In the 80s, she went back to earth then had a Human family at the time. In the 2000s, she is a contractor of known Mercs.

Back to the cold war, the cybertronian technology were a big reason why they're in a cold war. But the Cold war ended due to the Soviet collapse. Leaving the factory in Ukraine untouched. But sector seven owns it.

By the 2000s. Nothing has happen until 2008. The Oil crisis Happened in Russia and China.

The Oil from Seberia is running out. As Russia was taking Oil from China. But China doesn't want to share. The two bickered and sparked the Oil War. By the 2010s, the U.S and South America sparked a Sino-American war. The reason is unkown but Sector seven believe they found Oil or Technology they need to steal.

By the 2010s, Shockwave was active. And experimenting weaponary and rifts to explore other planets. But realized he can go to other universes. By 2018, the Oil war became devastating. As Russia and China are fighting in nation. Killing and destorying cities like Bejing, and Moscow as example.

The World is exhausted from the war. As Shockwave was waiting to happen. By late 2018, the Decepticon invaded earth. But was invading japan. Due to the energon detector telling them it's there. While the invasion is happening. Shockwave broung his remaining decepticons to invade the star wars galaxy. Stealing and attacking imperial Occupied planets and the Galactic Empire. During the invasion. There is a character name Reaper 1. A character that isn't from this world. But a World that was affected by her.

Reaper 1 or her real name, Freyja Wion was a Ace pilot. Ressuracted by the cult that wanted to destroy the N.U.N.S. luckily, she gain a soul by Mikumo. The War ended when Mikumo sacrificed herself to go beyond the world. As she became the Reznov from call of duty black ops of Hallucinations. But most of the time it isn't. With Reaper blaming herself, Mikumo created a portal for Reaper to get a new life.

Reaper 1 was just finishing her crops as a Farmer. Until the TV turns on by itself about a Alien invasion. Reaper 1 assumed it was the cult find their way back to find her. As she uses her SV-262 Draken III custom to fight. She landed on Tokyo where the city was over run by Decepticons. Reaper noticed it's not the cult. But a different alien race. Reaper 1 managed to keep off the decepticons. While the U.S and sector Seven noticed a new alien technology they haven't even seen before.

Shockwave got the news that a unkown identity was being thrown off. As it curious Him. As Shockwave baited the Imperial fleets to go to earth. The Imperials saw Earth and its beauty. With Shockwave being there, they wanted the planet all for themselves. The Invasion of imperial was devastating. When the imperials arrived. They were orbital striking and destroying cities all over the planet. Reaper couldn't withstand the firepower. Forcing her to leave. The Imperials land and invaded Tokyo. Making the invasion much harder for Reaper to even fight. The 2020s was a nightmare. Decepticons and imperials are in a tug of war. The Imperials build a hybrid star destroyer death star named, the star harvester. To escalate the problem. The new sith lord, Am (from star wars visions) is stationed and commanding the ball of death.

While this was happening. Mikumo was secretly warning her world about what is happening. A new enemy can go to different universe and destroying and luring it for its own gain.

Panthoria was alerted. Seeing the giant Star Harvester being looming on the Planet. So, they went to eartu and spark a war against the Imperial and Decepticons. But, they were being outnumbered. By 2021, the war was getting worse. Shockwave pulled the Neo-Zeon out with the Earth federations too. To see how they react in a new world. The Earth federations allied with the Panthroians, Earth (sector seven) and Reaper 1. Then, a rift happened. The Delta era Macrosses came in. With the Venators of the republic pulls out. It wasn't by shockwave. But by Mikumo herself. When they Arrived. They formed an alliances. As they called the U.F.N (United Federation nation.) As they have two big common Enenmy. The imperials and the Decepticons. The Autobots arrived shortly after because of Shockwave's new war she sparked.

The helghans were invaded by the imperials, then the Helghans refused to help. But since they can't defeat the imperials all by themselves, they have no choice but to Agree to join. Only because of the common enemy of the imperials.

The Mutioans joined because of the Imperials invaded and damaging the planet. Wich caused them to be furious and created a large military to go toe to toe with the imperials. But their technology was created by rage. As their ray cannons can destroy a Star destoryer in one hit. As the invasion spawned commanders. The Mutioans with more human like expressions.

The war lasted 10 years with 2023 being the worst for the U.F.N.

I hope you kinda enjoy the project that I was making for years! Keep in mind since I type fast letter errors may appear

If you have any questions or critique, let me know! I'm new to this.

General Discussion The Lore Rationing Schedule

I use a couple of documents when I write a fanfic series if it has significant canon divergence and extensive world building - I literally have to make a Story Bible which outlines this stuff and an over-all chapter map.

The thing is I realized that the world-building in the fic is the water the characters swim in, not the lecture they sit through. The principle throughout should be: one well-placed sentence, one character action, one moment of recognition does more than a paragraph of exposition. So I had to make another document for reference about where / which chapter I would sprinkle the lore.

Just wondering if anybody else had a different way of addressing this?

Lore Dump Marvel x Pokemon fusion-'verse notes: V1, maybe.

Setting/World:

In this world, the Pokemon have always existed. Whoever of Arceus, Gaia, or Odin created the Mew species, which naturally-evolved into the others over the course of 650,000 years.

As such, every species has its own details for habitats and population and similar sundry.

  • The Growlithe line lives primarily in China, with roughly 75% of its estimated 24,000 member there and the rest worldwide. The locals have handled giant fire-dogs for centuries. For the Kaiju mood, they grow 20x bigger over the course of 40 years; Growlithe from 0.7 to 14 meters, Arcanine from 1.9 to 38 meters.
  • The Dratini line has an estimated 21,000 population all over the world. Europe has circa 3,700 roaming around, while Asia has 4,300. The biggest Dragonite on record is 20 years and 19 meters. The people of China have handled giant dragons for centuries.
  • The Treecko line has a population of circa 22,000 members worldwide. An arboreal species that has 10% of specimens residing in the Amazon rainforest. Implications for a certain Marvel city.
  • The Joltik line has an estimated 23,000 population on every continent. On this Earth, you can get jumped by a huge lightning spider if you go camping. The Amazon rainforest has circa 1,800 of the critters. A Galvantula can grow from 0.8 to 16 meters over 40 years, though all have died to predators long before.

Etcetera, etcetera, for hundreds of species. Their presence in turn has the effect that modern humanity has a far smaller civilization; 10% of IRL across the board, with a global population of 800,000,000 in the 21st century. 34,000,000 in America, 2,700,000 in Australia, etcetera.

The main reason humankind isn't extinct is because mutant humanity has helped level the playing field power-wise. Superhumans kept "super-animals" in check, mostly.
