Which are your favorite FL Studio FLEX Patches?

I have had to reinstall FL Studio half a dozen times in the last two years due to PC issues, which is a huge waste of time and energy. I backed everything up every time but today I realized that all my Edison samples are gone, which is my fault but still really demoralizing.

And a bunch of my plugins wont load so I get to reinstall AGAIN. I love FL Studio but I also hate it so much. I just want to make music. I am so frustrated. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!

It would be nice if FL Studio wasn't a byzantine mess of folders all over my damn computer and they didn't just randomly move where stuff was saved. Edison samples were in the install folder once upon a time and now they are in documents. It would be nice if reinstalling didn't take 2 hours by the time you have reinstalled all your third party plugins. And oh my goodness would it be nice if you could migrate an install and bypass all this stuff.

Bleh. Sometimes making music is hard for all the wrong reasons.

Ive been looking at picking up one of these plugins atleast to me the seem to do the same thing. Would anyone owning one of these plugins be able to let me know if they are good?

I tried to make a new genre than i usually do

And it turned into an almost entirely different song. Tho I kept the drums and a lot of the new stuff is just resampled from the stems of the first song. The mix is rough and it'll be about a minute or so longer when it's done.

What u think?

Hi everyone,

I'm an FL Studio user trying to mix my own vocals. I'm heavily inspired by two styles: the dark, distorted, aggressive underground sound of HAARPER and Saliva Grey, but also the intimate, wide, and upfront emotional sound of XXXTENTACION and SadBoyProlific.

Right now, I have two major issues that I can't seem to fix:

1. My vocals sound way too far back in the mix (buried behind the beat). I don't know what to tweak to get that crisp "in-your-face" presence.
2. My vocals sound completely centered and thin. They lack that massive stereo width, especially in the choruses/hooks.

What am I doing wrong? What knobs should I turn or plugins should I add/remove to push the vocals to the front and make them sound wide without losing power in the center?

hey everyone . as of the past to days I've noticed my automations are not working for any of my plugins and for my audios in my files when created in the mixer and added to the playlist. I have tried to create them from the last tweaked section , but this also does nothing . I have contacted image line but no response still. the automation still appear in the playlist but if I change a parameter or change anything to it its not registering to the songs or the pattern. if anyone knows anything I can try other than the main things that would be appreciated . I feel like its a settings thing but I'm not sure . I've tried creating a new project and the same thing has happened .

The part outlined is the kicksart and kilohearts trancegate but they are not affecting the song . im just lost 🤔

I prefer to record a bunch of songs for the same project all in one project. How do I automate bpm so I can record multiple tracks with different bpms to the same project without it moving them around and screwing it up? It never syncs up the way I want it to and moves everything around. I’d like to be able to change to specific BPMs and not have to do math to figure out the relative value I should set it to to get it right.
Any advice? I wish I could just set switch zones for different BPMs. Are there any other DAWs that are better for this sort of thing?
