Discussion Unpopular opinion: This is where Rue and Jules story should’ve ended. Spoiler
It was a pretty good conclusion, although to be fair my ending for the show in general is rue walking out of those school door. The point I’m trying to make is Nate and Rues connection to Jules in season 3 should have been swapped. Nate should’ve been the one MessiIt was a pretty good conclusion, although, to be fair, my ending for the show in general is Rue walking out of those school doors, but I digress.
The point I’m trying to make is that Nate and Rue’s connections to Jules in Season 3 should’ve been swapped. Nate should’ve been the one messing around with Jules, and the wedding scene that Nate and Jules had should’ve been Rue and Jules instead.
I’m not even against Rue and Jules having the off-and-on relationship they had for a year after graduation because, honestly, going back to a toxic relationship out of familiarity is relatable to a lot of people. However, I felt like their continued romance in Season 3 was a waste of time and not something anyone was really asking for.
In my opinion, Rue’s relationship with Maddy—and vice versa—should’ve been highlighted much more. And no, I’m not saying this as someone who romantically ships them, although I certainly wouldn’t have been mad at that. (Before y’all come for me about them having minimal interaction, Fezco and Lexi barely interacted in Season 1, and that relationship still worked.) I just think Rue and Maddy could’ve been really compatible as characters. But that’s neither here nor there. My point is that focusing more on their friendship would’ve complemented both of their storylines much better. It would’ve made more sense for Maddy to get caught up with Alamo because she was trying to help Rue, which should’ve happened much sooner in the season, and it would’ve raised the stakes considerably.
Not to mention, Rue dying to save Maddy from Alamo and his business would’ve fit the overall tone of Season 3 much better. The way Rue was killed off was too good for the season we actually got. It felt shoehorned into the story, and because of that, it almost felt disrespectful to the potential of the storyline.
(Man this got away from me a bit) In conclusion, Nate messing around with Jules would’ve at least explained her terrible personality in season 3 because well, Nate brings the worst out of people.

Off-Topic Still can’t get around the fact that Zendaya plays Rue. Like that is not Zendaya, that is RUE™️
Ik people say this a lot, but genuinely they are so distinct. My mind can’t grasp that the actress behind Rue is Zendaya.
That’s how you know her acting is next level

Question How different is S3 to 1+2
I've really enjoyed the first season, even more so season two , waiting for the whole season 3 to binge but I'm seeing a lot of hate especially where the story line and character arcs have took 180's

Question How did Bishop grow to become so trusted by Alamo? spoilers Spoiler
I think it’s really interesting how Bishop was dubbed as Alamo’s ‘right hand man.’ Alamo was extremely narcissistic and self-serving. We don’t really see him fully trust anyone and he is wiling to coldly sacrifice anyone for the sake of self preservation. I loved his ending because he was so paranoid about being wronged, only to have a taste of his own medicine with Bishop’s ultimate betrayal. What are your theories as to how him and Alamo met?

Actors Zendayas acting
I recently went to see the Odyssey in the cinema with my friends. Afterwards we talked about the acting and they talked about Zendaya always having one expression and not being a very good actress. I was so surprised because i've seen a lot of movies with her and i'm always amazed at how much I see her character instead of her in every movie she's in because she plays them so realistically.
I just thought if anyone here has the same opinion? Or is it that in some movies she acts her ass off and thats why I feel she acts very good but in other movies she does always play kind of the same character with the same expressions etc?

Discussion Are Lexi and Maddie partially responsible for Rue’s death?
Because this led from Lexi telling Maddy to Maddy telling Alamo and if they had just kept their damn mouths shut maybe Rue would’ve gotten her happy ending. And get Lexi thought Rue was lying but seriously out of all the people she could’ve told she decided to Maddy who can’t seem to shut the fuck up about certain things. Why didn’t she just tell Jules??

Discussion Euphoria special airing this week
So at first I rolled my eyes and thought ‘ just let it end, dear lord’ but I just saw the preview for the special episode and to just get to see Angus Cloud and Eric Dane will be more than worth it. The moment they both flashed on screen I choked up. So I’ve decided to watch

Clip Back when I was in high-school, I was very eager and excited for every single weekly new episodes!

Recently I've been visiting old Season 1 & 2 episodes and DAMN you can literally tell that merely every actor stopped giving a sh*t about the show in Season 3!
They aren't present, invested or paying much effort to actually make the character feel alive or someone you can connect to, characters aren't as vivid or emotionally interesting as they used to be and we all know exactly who shall be blamed...
Don't get me wrong they all did great job with the sh*tty script they had but their performance speaks for itself...more like crys because of that script, it's extraordinarily depressing to see this horrible sharp decline of a show we all were very emotionally invested in once upon a time.

Discussion Is the rest of season 3 even worth watching?
I don’t remember which episode I got to, maybe episode 5, but the last real episode I watched was the wedding. I was expecting it to be exciting and somewhat in par with the the play episodes in season 2, the way they were advertising it and hyping it up, but it just fell so short of everything I thought it was gonna be and just gave me a disdain for the rest of the series.. . I couldn’t even bring myself to watch the rest of it because I knew right then that they had just thrown away the plot entirely, so wondering if you feel there’s anything actually worth watching?
Ofc I’ve heard rue and Nate die, but it sounds like from online discourse many of you didn’t like it either.. it’s a shame because I just really revered the show when it first came out and drew so many parallels to it in my personal life, and I was really hoping/expecting to see resolution especially because I’ve grown so much in these last 6 years. I was expecting the characters to as well

Discussion Worth it to watch season 3?
Hi guys!! I know I’m so late but I’m rewatching season 2 again and I just can’t decide if I should watch season 3.. I’m worried that it will ruin the whole series for me. I’ve seen clips here and there and it looks like a cheap knockoff compared to seasons 1 & 2. I’m just curious if any of the story lines I care about actually get finished. Of course Ash died and Fezco (RIP Angus Cloud 💔) is not in the show anymore, but is there any plot continuation in season 3 that made you glad you watched it or should I just leave off on season 2 forever?

Discussion Just started watching euphoria
Just wondering if someone could help and trust me this is a weird one. I’ve just started watching Euphoria last week. I’m enjoying it a fair bit and omg Jules is just the most beautiful human being. However I’m someone who tends to feel emotions in tv shows and films and I can’t help but feel a bit depressed after watching an episode (it’s quite a dark tv show). Has anybody else felt like this and what did they do to help? I want to carry on watching the show but don’t really like the depressed feeling I get after each episode.

Discussion Should I continue watching?
I started this because people in the Elite subreddit recommended this show.
I am finished with Episode 1 now and couldn’t find a single likeable character at all so far
Does it get better?

Question Do you think that if Maddie found Cassie in the bathtub everything would have ended up being different ?
At this point Cassie and Nate weren't really serious, it was mostly fucking around afaik ? Nate and Maddie had broken up not so long ago so that's one thing too so do you think things would have ended up different ? Worse or Better ?

What I wanted to know is are there any eps or clips of Jacob Elordi being a cool hotshot- basically the aura that he displayed in the previous seasons. Kindly lmk the ep numbers if any ty 🤷🏻♂️
