Had some old noise insulation foam laying around. Cut to fit the underside of the carpeting in the trunk and cabin. It does reduce the cabin noise.

Got some exterior mods for my Elantra, thoughts on anything to add or subtract to make this build come together?

Hey yall, my mom has a 14 Elantra limited w a sputtering issue on idle and acceleration issue up hills. it has minimal acceleration up a hill, won’t go over 20 mph. on idle vehicle sputters but does not throw any lights or stall. no obvious vacuums leaks. plugs replaced recently maybe 15-20k ago. quarter tank, no loose connectors. Coil pack one is damaged but is fully clipped(just the small secondary retainer clip) but no check engine light at all

After weeks of searching, inspections, and comparing different cars, I finally bought a 2021 Hyundai Elantra SX 2.0 Petrol Manual here in India.

This is my first D-segment sedan, and honestly, the drive home itself made me understand why people love these cars. The cabin is incredibly quiet, the ride quality is excellent, and the 2.0L naturally aspirated engine feels smooth and effortless. It feels like it’s just cruising at highway speeds.

The car has around 64,000 km on the odometer with a complete Hyundai service history. Before buying, I also got an independent PDI done, and I’m still within my return window, so I’m planning to get one final inspection done at Hyundai for complete peace of mind.

I plan to keep this car for many years, so I’d love to hear from long-term owners.
A few questions:
What are the common issues to watch out for as these cars age?
Any preventive maintenance you’d recommend beyond the regular service schedule?
Are there any parts that typically fail after 60k–100k km?
Any accessories or quality-of-life upgrades you’d highly recommend?
I’m planning to install a 70mai dashcam. Any other must-have additions?

Title. I’ve owned solely Infiniti’s for the past couple decades and just picked up my first Hyundai. I feel like I got a lot of car for the money I paid so I’m excited. I do live in a major city, and folks here still have problems with dem Kia boyz. Should I worry about them with the 2026?

The Veloster definitely had its own personality, and I still see people wishing Hyundai hadn't discontinued it.

At the same time, the Elantra lineup, especially the N, has become really strong.

Do you still miss the Veloster, or do you think Hyundai's current lineup covers what it used to offer?

I recently got a 2020 Elantra se and anytime I try to set the time it wont let me and it keeps saying that the gps antenna is open
How do I close it
Or where is it located?
It doesn't have the usual fin on the roof so I have no idea where to look for it

Dug through all the settings and couldn't find a toggle that locks the car when we walk away

I assumed this was standard on any keyless entry cars. Walk to unlock works like expected though.

Am I missing soemthing?

My kids 2019 Elantra has a flap that’s hanging down. Haven’t been able to look at it directly, but is there a clip that normally holds it in?

I was quoted $140 for a cabin air filter and I was wondering where I could buy this online and do a DIY I am looking to buy on Amazon or some similar website. My car is a 2024 ELANTRA 2.0L Automatic. could someone help or let me know what other info i need?

Activated it on my alexa app. Works like a charm with my echo omin living room

I live in an apartment. So walk down is like 45 seconds give or take. Way better than the app per say and love it.

I can confirm the speaker wires are somewhere on this white connector as the speaker turns off when unplugged. Does anyone know which wires are the positive and negative of the woofer speaker on the driver side door panel.

I'm leaning to the orange and green wire on the right side in the image.

It is the top left wires on the white connector.

Purple with red stripe is negative and purple with blue stripe is positive

hello, I have a 2020 hyundai elantra SEL, about 4 months ago my front tire blew out, a little time after that the FCA sensor is no longer working, im not even getting the side mirror warning lights. Is there a rough estimate on what it cost to repace the sensor or is it worth it? other than that, car is fine. New tires and everything. any help/suggestions are gratly appreciated
