Edmonds and the Seattle Freeze
Just moved to Edmonds a month ago. On my walks I've tried aying hi to people or smiling and have gotten ignored 9/10 times. I moved from Woodinville so not new to the general area. Is Edmonds super unfriendly or what?

Bars that show UFC?
Hey neighbors, are there any bars or restaurants in downtown Edmonds that show UFC fights? It's no longer pay-per-view since it's on Paramount now, but it's always nice to grab a beer or an NA drink and watch with friends.

Business CPA for business solutions
Howdy folks! I'm looking for business CPA recommendations in the area. Assistance setting up and possibly advising will be primary. I've already emailed a couple with zero reply at all, so active correspondence is key! Please and thank you!

Teen jobs in Edmonds?
Hi, I'm a 15 year old high school student in Edmonds looking for a job for this summer or even a more long term one. Is there any place in the area that hires at 15? I've applied to places like QFC, Safeway, and Fred Meyer, but are there any places maybe downtown?

Looking for a nice place to park and gaze at the water
I’m a caregiver for a cancer patient in Edmonds who is also a very close friend. She is currently home bound, and I travel often from Bellingham to help her out. She misses being outdoors and seeing the world, especially the waterfront. I would love to drive her somewhere and park near the water so she can just sit and enjoy the view. She has a wheelchair, and I can push her a short distance. She’s fine with being around people, but no big crowds. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

Realistically, what is it like taking the light rail from Edmonds into Seattle?
I am considering hopping on the light rail either in Lynnwood or MLT and will be traveling to the UW campus. My start time is generally 8:30. What time do the garages fill up? Are there generally seats available or is it standing room only? Would love to be able to hop on my computer and knock out some work hours during the commute but I don’t know how realistic that actually would be. Thanks!!

Daycare dos and donts
Baby on the way and figure maybe I should start planning ahead. We will be enrolling our 4 month old into daycare around January 2027. Which daycares do you recommend and which daycares do you advise avoiding at all costs? Bonus points if they offer part time (3 days/wk). Thank you!

Klahaya and Innis Arden Swim Club
Hi everyone! I recently moved to the Edmonds/Shoreline area and just added myself to the waitlists for both Klahaya and Innis Arden swim clubs. I know the lists can be long, but I’m fine with waiting. I’d love to hear about people’s experiences with either club — community vibe, facilities, programs, anything you think is helpful.
Thanks in advance!
