I know WSU extension has a calendar, but it's for the whole of western WA and even says it "covers suggested planting times for crops in Western Washington; specific dates should be obtained by experimenting in your area." I'm new to gardening here so would love to hear from your experiences!

And in Lake Forest Park’s 1st LD, incumbent Representatives Shelley Kloba and Davina Duerr also didn’t bother.

Is this a real restaurant? Found this on a couple of poles near Shoreline South Station, this is what's suspicious:

Hey all, I messed up pretty bad, I signed a lease to an apartment/condominium and was scheduled to move in July 31st, 2026. I recently been having financial issues and personal issues where I can no longer move out of my current apartment.

Looking for another housemate. My housemate and I are Gen X women. We both work at Children’s hospital. We have a full time cat and some shared custody dogs. The house is cute, lots of natural light, nice big fenced backyard. We are a short 10-15 min walk to two light rail stations and there is a bus line on our street. There is a theatre, two cafes, a pub, an indie bookstore, and a library within a few blocks. My housemate and I are both very creative and make a lot of cool stuff. We are liberal and LGBTQ friendly.

The house is furnished. Currently the room is unfurnished but we can provide some basics like bed and dresser if needed.

Because of current pets, unfortunately we aren’t able to consider anyone with pets.

Move in date is flexible but preferably somewhere between August 1st and 10th.

I previously lived in Seattle in 2018, but did not spend much time in Shoreline. This time around, it has been highly suggested for us. My daughter is very smart and creative, so a good school and safety is very important to us.

My questions are: is it possible to rent a 2BR decent (no frills) apartment for under $2500? Is it a competitive market?

My daughter leans a bit more alternative in fashion and interests. Would she have a difficult time making friends in this area?
