1985 318i 5 speed. Getting the manual driveshaft out of the parts car and in today
Been a big project, previous owner cut the afm, distribution and battery mounts out of the engine bay when he Shaved it. Welded all the mounts back in after cutting them out of parts car. Gold car is sitting on BC coilovers, have about 150 hours into the car. Looking forward !

Small Project Finished keyfob project
Took about 4 hours of prototyping but I finally got there!
Range took a slight hit but still good enough. I like it because I can use it for both my remote locking and my garage opener, and because it looks super cool.

Hi I recently bought this 1989 325is and I found this random hose line sitting and I can’t seem to find out what it is or were it would go. If anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it

1800 for rear trailing arm and subframe bushings a lot?
Just did my front control arms and steering rack myself. It wasn’t too difficult but definitely annoying since the car had some seized bolts. I no longer have a place to keep my car jacked up for a few nights so I have to take it to a shop. The rear definitely looks way harder. The shop quoted me 1250 for the trailing arms which is pretty fair but the sub frame bushings are 750? Which I was thinking everything is already off pretty much with the trailing arms so wouldn’t the sub frame bushings only take like an hour to do? This is without alignment and everything. Just bushings

Tech question Help! E30 325i Fuel Gauge always at full.
Hi everyone, I recently replaced my fuel pump on my E30 (pre-lci) and the immersion pipe sender, now my fuel gauge is showing the right fuel level only when the car is in ignition 2 but when the fuel pump is working it‘s going to full and stays there. I checked every ground cable and ground connection and everything is clean and connected. When I am driving it sometimes goes back a little bit but it doesn‘t show the right fuel level. I checked everything and I can not find the issue.

What should I do
So I’m changing the cooling system and so far everything has gone well but I got to my thermostat housing cover and the bolts are corroded so bad I can’t even put pressure on the bolts without them snapping what’s the safest way to not cause any damage I am going to replace the housing cover but should I also replace the housing itself or what should I do

Where to get used working parts
Guys I see some sensors on eBay go for $300. But local shops sell the used ones for $10. Where to buy used parts online?
