Anyone selling a gravel bike?

Hi all,

I am home from university for the summer and would love to get fitter during this time. Cycling has caught my eye, especially gravel bikes. I was wondering if anyone was selling/getting rid of their gravel bikes? I am a large/ frame size 56. Thank you.

Open mic on a Monday or Thursday

Hello, I'm looking for an open mic in Durham (or nearby) that's either on a Monday or a Thursday. Does anyone know of one?

There's nothing on open mic finder and haven't found anything on Facebook/Insta.

Many thanks

What is going on here?

I walked over the Kingsgate Bridge earlier today and walked up Bow Lane. At the top of the lane there was this building with a loud noise of individuals seeming to be enjoying a meal. When I looked I couldn't see any open doors into the place.. does anyone know what the place is and what was going on?

Interactive D&D Show returns to Durham!

Post image

Hey all! My name's Elliott and I'm the DM for It's Your Role, an interactive Dungeons & Dragons show that's performed off-west end, alongside members of Oxventure, and at loads of conventions. We'll be returning to the Durham Fringe on 31st July and 1st August - and we'd love to have some fans of D&D in the audience! We had a great time last year, with audience members naming NPC's, and even joining us onstage! You can grab tickets HERE.

Traffic this Saturday

I cleverly bought train tickets without twigging the Gala was on - reckon I'll be alright delay wise driving to the station if I give it another 20-30 minutes or so or if I should give up now and leave from Newcastle instead? Never driven in town when it's on or paid proper attention to the traffic. I'm hoping it should be alright given I'm coming from Lanchester direction and for the 12:40?

Looking to make friends

Hi, I graduated university 2 years ago and feel like outside of work I don't really meet many people. I do meet up with people from school, university and previous jobs sometimes but want to try new things.

I was wondering if anyone has any clubs/events they like?

I go to the gym but I feel like I'm too focused on what I'm doing to have a chance to talk to people there.

I would be interested in book clubs, music clubs or anything else. Thanks.
