I was trying to extend my parking time via app and the wallet had no balance, while keep retrying i paid topup the wallet 3 times and the wallet amount was still showing less then required for parking tkt.

Meanwhile the app was still glitching and eventually I missed my payment for around 15 minutes!

This is not the first time, Parkin has some beef with me or something, the other day it took all my money while i was trying to stop auto extending or my tkt, it was keep renewing tkts until my wallet was drained.

Im am thinking of stop driving anymore it’s so frustrating the Parkin is very poorly managed

We're currently in our third year of renewing our RAKEZ Free Zone company, and we've noticed that the overall renewal costs have increased significantly compared to our first year. Some of these charges also weren't clearly communicated to us when we initially incorporated the company.

So far, this year, we've paid around AED 9,000 for the license renewal. The resident visa renewal is still pending which would be approximately AED 5000++ as per our agent, and on top of that, our agent is charging AED 750 for the Emirates ID renewal.

Additionally, our agent (who also acts as our CA) charges approximately AED 2,500 annually for corporate tax filing.

I'm trying to understand whether these charges are standard or if we're being overcharged.

For those with RAKEZ companies:

• Are these fees in line with what you're paying?
• Is AED 750 a reasonable charge for handling an Emirates ID renewal?
• Since we have already renewed with RAKEZ this year, except resident visa, is there any other cost-effective alternative?

Hello, I got hired 4 months ago in this company in Dubai. During my 1st day I was informed that I will be under evaluation for 1 month before they truly finalizing me in the company. After a month I got finalised and signed the contract. In the contract there was this clause that I have to pay a total of 6000 AED if I leave in less than one year based on my own free will.

Now I plan to resign since the work is too much for me (I leave at 7 am and go home by 8pm due to transportation) my schedule is 9-6.

Am I really obligated to pay that 7000 AED if I decide to render my resignation now?

Additional details: There was no outside training paid by them. I only work sometimes ask questions to them

I had an ecom store for the past 3 months making below 1k AED per month. I used Shopify and Ziina for payment processing and payed out to my bank and had no issues till now since Ziina does not require a license for individuals.

I have an opportunity for another business but the customers are international. Can I still use ziina for this and transfer to my bank account the same way I did for the past 3 months?

I've heard about DED eTrader license for about 1200 AED but the minimum age requirement is 21-which I'm not, is there any alternative license I can get?

I'm from Pakistan and visited the UAE in February this year.

A company/agent offered me a Free Zone business setup with a residence visa. They charged me AED 7,500. Before I paid, they verbally told me that if my visa was rejected, they would refund 100% of the amount.

They applied for my visa twice, and both applications were rejected.

Now they are refusing to refund my money. At first, they said they would return it, but now they say they have nothing left to refund because they spent it on application fees. Recently, they have also stopped replying to my messages.

Since I'm back in Pakistan, I'd like to know what my options are.

- Is there any UAE authority where I can file a complaint?

- Can I take legal action from outside the UAE?

- Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?

Unfortunately, I only have their verbal promise about the refund, but I do have payment records and our chat history.

I’ve been unemployed for around 1.5 years now. I resigned from my last job because I struggled to align with some of the responsibilities and the overall working environment.

I was reporting to the Business Finance Manager, who was genuinely kind and supportive. However, he often delegated a significant amount of administrative work in addition to my core responsibilities. Over time, he became frustrated with my performance and mentioned that he would monitor my progress over the next three to five months. Due to the stress and frustration I was experiencing at the time, I eventually told him that I wanted to resign. He accepted my 30-day notice and remained respectful and professional throughout the process.

Since I left, and I had not contacted him since my departure, as I generally do not stay in touch with former managers after leaving a company. Surprisingly, he reached out to me last week simply to check in, and we had a brief conversation.

During the conversation, I told him that I am currently employed, although the reality is that I am still looking for a job.

Now I’m wondering whether I should be honest with him and let him know that I am still seeking an opportunity, perhaps asking for his guidance or support. He has strong industry connections and is genuinely a good person, although I do not expect him to rehire me. We previously worked together at a large multinational fashion retail company.

I'm really feeling awkward contacting and telling him that since I left I failed to secure the job opportunity, that's actually my complete failure.

I was recently laid off, and I am planning to move back home instead of spending all that have saved (peanuts) to find a job here.

I have a studio, 2 banks accounts and 1 credit card. Dewa and Ejari are in my name. Considering my landlord shows me some ounce of understanding and let's me leave before the next month's rent is due (I suppose you only have to give notice when you are not paying the penalty).

How many more days would I need to stay in Dubai, to close everything? I am looking at flight prices and the sooner I book the better deal I get. I will keep Mashreq bank open so that I can recieve security deposit and all (if possible) while I am home.

I am giving myself a week, do you think it's too less?

Also, I don't think you can ILOE in a week, it's processed 30 days after termination? Let me know if anyone has done it in a week? Anyways my base pay was so low that ILOE makes only a month of rent and few change, so I don't think it's worth it for me to stay a month to get just that much so I am willing to leave it.

In short, I have a faulty item that I want to replace and its warranty is only applicable in the US so it has to be sent to the US branch. This is doable.

The problem is their return policy states that they do not accept return shipments if they require payment upon delivery, which might very likely happen.

Needing some advice. I’m in a job for 10years and in the 9th year they changed my title to a scientist without the benefits. My role and responsibilities have changed. They said due to changes in the top management they cannot give me a promotion just yet and they pushed it to the next cycle. A year and a half has gone by and nothing has happened everytime I ask them they say we cannot just yet. The normal thing to do is leave but I have such great benefits here they pay for my kids and my visa , we have medical insurance. The pay was good up until the unrest in the Middle East, everything has gotten so expensive that it’s difficult some days.That’s the only thing stopping me from leaving. Else i would have walked out a long time ago. But now im pregnant with my second and I asked my boss again bout the promotion and he said his boss said because im pregnant and I won’t be in office for the next promotion cycle we will push it to Jan. so I told my boss this is ridiculous 2 years without the benefits of my title. He just said im pushing for the promotion but it’s ultimately the hr and the director decision. What would you’ll do in this situation?
