So I thought this was a fun and good way to show how many movies are currently represented in Dreamlight Valley and how many movies we're still missing! Movies that have at least one character in the game are checked off and movies that don't, do not have a checkmark

I categorized them by each Disney Era in case people didn't know what movies released in what years and plus, I thought it was a fun way to categorize them!

What was once a great castle that stood tall in the heart of jungle, has been worn down with time and reclaimed by nature. But its magic still remains, with plenty of adventure that awaits!

I totally did buy this as an excuse to finally decorate my Ancient Floating Island! I just hit SPAM on the foliage because we are going full overgrown vibes over here!

I might have a dream shard collecting/hoarding problem lol. I definitely grind too hard on that particular part of the game. In case anyone is curious or doesn’t want to do the math, I have 6601 shards right now. Lol

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'm always shocked by how many posts I see on here where people are like, "feeling overwhelmed, should I just restart?" or "I wiped my save and started over."

As a seasoned gamer of many years, this is one of the last games I'd ever want to restart. My valley from 2022 is sitting at around 400 goddamn hours, and losing all of that progress would be an absolute nightmare. Even if I had half that playtime, I still don't think I could bring myself to do it.

The game now has so many characters, friendship levels, quests, event tasks, furniture, Dreamlight tasks, crafting materials, all the biomes to unlock... the thought of doing all of that grindy crap from scratch again sounds miserable. Let alone as a solution to 'feeling overwhelmed', surely this would have the opposite effect?!

At least with something like Animal Crossing there's a genuine incentive, you get a different island layout/fruit and so on, and you can build something completely new. Dreamlight Valley's map is the same every time. The biome layout is fixed, the story is the same, the quest progression is the same, you'll always be repeating the exact same tasks.

Unless you actively want to replay hundreds of hours of questing and resource grinding, I genuinely don't understand the appeal. I'd much rather keep improving my existing valley than erase it all.

… And not at all worrying that it’s just left lips and eyes as the shadow 😂

I just learned going to Scrooges and buying 1 of everything that is 0 will do the trick. I can’t believe I didn’t know this. All I’ve heard/been told is picking up everything placed down will do it and that’s never worked for me. Thank you to the amazing human being on Facebook whom said this. I see a lot of people talking about banishing Wreck it Ralph when they get him in the game. I personally haven't wanted to banish anyone no matter how annoying they may be. I might put their house on a floating island for space but they can roam anywhere they want throughout all of my Valleys.

How do you feel on this subject and if you have banished a villager who was it and what made you banish them? No judging here just wondering.

I've had Vanellope's house in the Forest of Valor since she moved into the game. It gave me a "Hansel and Gretel" vibe that fit the fairytale world.

Since then, the Forest has become a bit crowded. Most of the Princesses live there. It's become its' own neighborhood that I don't really want to break up.

I've always intended Ralph to be Vanellope's neighbor whenever he was added to the game, but it looks like his house is going to be huge! (I expected that, but still!)

Where are you all planning on placing his house?

I am opening my valley to visitors for the first time ever! It is a fully decorated island with plenty to see! AND I *might* just have a little gift for you for visiting!

In addition to an open island for inspiration and picking up whatever you want (except the flowers in the meadow), mining, and just general gameplay, I have a “Free” area in the plaza, with TONS of free materials to take. It’s open to all, but please only take what you need though, and I’m giving preference to new/newer players here. Also, please do not take more than one full stack (typically 99) of any one item. Thanks for being understanding.

Anyway, valley is open from now until whenever I decide to close it (probably not for at least 3-4 hours), so you can visit as many times or as much as you want!

I’ll be the one running around in glass wings and purple heels. If you don’t like queer people and think that a male bodied character in heels is “weird”, don’t bother coming to my valley.

Hi, since Realmweaver's last message about sharing ice cream when the Hercules Realm First Opened and what Merlin said about being from youth, I looked back at stuff. Picture screenshots are from YouTubers BringTheParty & Bazzy. Esc: I took screenshots before choices were made)

Clue 1: 1st two pictures from BringTheParty. This is before the character falls asleep. The leaves are red, yellow, blue, and white, which are Mickey Mouse, Donald, and Goofy's Colors. 2nd picture shows mowed green grass, a clean bike, and a rumpled shirt near the castle. If our character has been gone so long, shouldn't the grass not be mowed and the bike dirty & rusty?

Clue 2: The next 4 pictures are from Bazzy. They're stuff from Cinderella's Friendship Questline. First mentions school dance; from what I know and remember (might be different for you guys), dances are in middle school and high school. Also sees one choice was friends said they missed me. That got me for the choice: how would they know we were not at the dance unless someone called the house?

My Theory is that Realmweaver is a game character and not a Disney character. real-world friend, cousin, sibling, or neighbor who, when our character left for the city, They stayed and took care of their hangout spots.

What do you guys think? Does this fit the timeline, or do you guys think something else? Comments if you like too

Okay, so I haven't played the game in so long out of boredom once I finished the main storylines. I stopped playing right as the first two packs (ART and SBV) were released but in the end I chose not to buy them and put the game down as I was so mentally tired from things going on at home.

I'm going through getting out of an abusive marriage and playing a little bit everyday has genuinely brought me so much comfort. Now, I realize just how much I missed this game. I've been catching up on the storylines within the base game (I have Herc just need Phil).

That being said, I grew up on Winnie the Pooh and although I have NONE of the other packs, I feel most inclined to get this one. I don't want to get them all at once and overwhelm myself. At most I can try for two if you all feel that one of the earlier packs is really good for gameplay and time (I remember seeing those machines that help harvest).

I was so excited about the arrival of these walls and house skin, I had to work on the build and take a break from decorating honey Glow Woods 🥰 So pleased with how it turned out. Hoping we get another Jungle themed biome or floating island or adventure pack so I can use these walls more. Hope this can bring some inspiration ✨

I have the base game story and the HGW story both completed. Currently working on EI, then moving onto SBV and WBR. My question is for the people who have finished everything but still play daily… Do you go to every biome in the main game and DLCs every day to clean up, forage, mine, fish, etc; or do you tend to just stick to one or two areas? I feel like trying to clean up everything every day would be a little too overwhelming, but don’t want to lets things go too much in any area. Just curious as to how others keep up with everything

Oh my god the shop is way too good this week...I'm COOKED. I've wanted the wings for ages so I went ahead and bought those...but I'm also totally obsessed with the dogs, fairy stuff, and Padme.

I’m ashamed to admit this isn’t my total hours either 🙈 I was playing on Xbox before I lost everything in a house fire.

I enjoyed spending like 6 hours creating this gem. I love the whimsy this game gives me. Initial photo is the entrance to this little garden, complete with a fae circle. 🥹

Why do they spawn so slowly or none at all!! I have not removed any of the original tress and I still only have a handful of oak leaves 😫
