new rpdr fan (seasons 7-9 down so far) and i love any gothic looks i see so dragula is on my mind. i have heard the production value is really bad which honestly could be a detractor for me, but i'm more worried about the "gross" stuff i've seen. a few comments said it gets toned down in later seasons, but since dragula has so much less than rpdr it feels like skipping a season has a bigger impact and might make some things confusing, but am also thinking s1 could ruin my perception. is it okay to skip?

I started with season 4 because seasons 1-3 were already missing when I started watching. I'm in the UK, so I tried using a vpn to check American shudder, but it's not there either. I thought Shudder owned Dragula seasons 4-6 so why is it gone?

I've just checked and it's still on amazon prime for people who subscribe to Shudder via Amazon Prime but not if you're subscribed via the shudder app. So I guess I should cancel my shudder subscription and subscribe via prime?

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing the premier of the White Trash Bash Tour with Pricilla Chambers, Abhora, and other performers from the Trailer of Chambers! Abhora came out to the crowd on stilts and ran into me like 3 times and it was GREAT! Calcutta is one of Pricilla’s drag daughters and I am a fan. Pricilla mentioned wanting to convince Reptilian Anderson to join, but it is unclear if she will be. And Pricilla’s stage presence was just something to be experienced. I don’t want to give away my favorite part of her set she transported me in her second set.

I took videos but they aren’t that good. They mentioned that their next stop was in Miami. Miss Chambers and her family are super personable. I did not get a chance to interact with Abhora, unfortunately.

Fantastic show. Strongly recommend.

So I only discovered Dragula a few months ago and am addicted. My favorite season so far is season 4 it’s amazing. But I’m watching titans 2 and I wanna know, who is your best and worst? Did any of the contestants change your mind about them on this season. I looove Sigourney beaver, but this season is making me think a little differently, the way she focused in on dollya and hoping in the drama was mad. Also what happened to jade Jolie, last time on titans 1 she was nice, now she’s like total shady. Any thought? X

The Boulet's said they did not like premiering on Halloween as a format on their podcast. This means they would most likely drop the finale leading up to Halloween. The episodes release on Tuesdays and the closest the finale could released on a Tuesday leading up to Halloween would be the 27th of October.

We know there are probably 10 episodes. 9 weeks before the 27th of October (finale day) is the 25th of August, which would be the premiere date.

The Announcement for Season 666 dropped 4 weeks before on a THURSDAY however. This means the announcement for season 7 would most likely drop 4 weeks before as well but not on a specific day based on the pattern or lack of. This would make the announcement the last week of July.

I was looking some Spirit Halloween animatronics, and like... the mechanisms are cool, but the costumes, and wigs and paint jobs are often so bad and I think it would be really cool to see the contestants customize them and then have them do a look with it. IDK I just think that'd be fun.

At the most recent GASH, Throb’s quarterly show sponsored by Fangoria, Throb teased the audience asking if they wanted to see him back on Dragula, said “I’ll get to that later,” and then didn’t bring it up again… But he did announce that the next GASH in October will be “The Execution of Throb Zombie,” after which he’ll be on break for a whole year.

A year off of shows, starting around the time the next season of Dragula will be airing, certainly sounds like a good amount of time to prepare looks and then film for Titans 👀

Over the past few years, Throb has gone from seeming uninterested in returning to Dragula after the harassment he received, to saying that he would consider returning after he’s had more time to cook. He’s certainly had a lot of time to cook now—I thought he should’ve won the season 5 crown to start with, and his drag has improved like crazy since then.

I’m crossing my fingers that next year will see Throb Zombie crowned as a Titan!

Dahli didn’t win resurrection yet still came back for S4, didn’t compete in S4E1 and imo didn’t give the widest variety of their drag. Saint was immaculate and won resurrection rightfully so and having that along with her performance through ALL EPISODES OF S4 should have earned her that crown. So I was just watching „Female Trouble” directed by John Waters starring Divine. In one scene where she confesses her crimes with pride she says „look at my leg” and it immediately it brought me back to Hallow Eve’s rant where she says „I love my leg”.

Do you guys think Hallow was referencing Divine here or it’s purely coincidental?
