hi everyone! i used to play a lot of dragon raja around 2020-2021, enough that i filled all my character slots. i really want to play the story again. is there any way to clear my character and story history? or do i just need to make an account on a different server and go about it that way? any help is appreciated!

Hey guys, I used to play heavily back in 2020, and I recently just got back into it again. I wanted to see if there were any major changes made within the game, but it seems to be pretty much the same except for the events and some other minor things 🥹. The UI is still the same, crowded, and overstimulating..

Is there a way to change the UI or to at least hide it? And would you say it's better on PC than on mobile?

The servers seem pretty low interacting too these days..

Hi, I just got back in the game after a while. At the moment I have an 108lv account and I'm seeing a lot of new classes compared to before, what would be the best one for a (mainly) PvE, warrior type? As of now I'm using shadow fencer.

(Also, any other advice in general would be very useful, I'm very rusty).

For context I'm in newest sever and except for whales most ppl should have the same items to upgrade my friends don't top up and have lesser rating but they can delete half of my health

I am stuck on the O Tale "Fed Up" in which the main character is in a fight scene with Andre Jevich. I purposefully sold the quest item "Keiko's Gift" (the eggs) using the one-click sell function thinking I wouldn't need it at a later date. The quest now requires the item and repeatedly loops the dialogue, preventing progression. I have tried everything such as searching for a briefcase that would restore the item and even going back and forth between the different realms of Icy Lair to look for controls or said briefcase that players mentioned may restore the item. Not to mention, there is no button to "Give Up" the quest, so if I can't figure it out, then the quest objective is probably just going to sit on my account forever. I know I've let this distress me more than it should, but I'm a very persistent person when it comes to games like this, so is it a possibility that the item could be restored or the quest reset? I need to vent about how badly Archosaur Games did us dirty with the Main Character (MC) in Dragon Raja, because the storytelling approach makes absolutely no sense.

They start the game by making you feel like you are the true protagonist. You get this deep, tragic backstory in Siberia, you are an S-rank newbie entering Cassell College, and you have insane potential. But the moment the main story kicks into gear, you get completely overshadowed, pushed into the background, and turned into a silent, invisible babysitter for Luminous. It completely shatters the immersion.

What makes it worse is how they handle the Ally System. If you play a female MC, you get these awesome, flirtatious text chains with characters like Caesar and Johann. Johann gets super domestic and protective, and Caesar showers you with attention. But it feels like a cheap tease. All that affection means absolutely nothing because the moment a main story cutscene starts, Caesar is back with NoNo, and you are treated like a ghost.

People always defend this by saying, "Well, they have to follow the strict lore of the original light novels."

Personally, I think that’s a lazy excuse.

Ok, yes. Dragon Raja is based on a highly successful, ongoing Chinese light novel series by author Jiang Nan,

The developers had to follow strict licensing rules. They were legally obligated to keep the core plot, couples (like Caesar and NoNo), and character fates identical to the books.

Because they couldn't alter the author's original story, any major romance with the Main Character had to be quarantined into the text-only Ally System where it wouldn't disrupt the official canon.

But this doesn’t justify anything, if they wanted to strictly copy the novel, they should have just made us play as Luminous from the start. But if they wanted to make an actual Role-Playing Game, they needed to work hard on the adaptation. Look at games like Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Baldur's Gate 3 they prove you can make an incredible RPG where the player's choices actually matter, affect the story, and trigger real romance cutscenes. It’s entirely on the developers that they chose lazy monetization over high-quality storytelling.

Honestly, I really hoped Dragon Raja: ReRise would finally fix this since they're introducing different types of MCs. But regardless…I think it’s going to end up exactly the same. They are just teasing us with another high-potential MC setup, only to double down on gacha mechanics and stick like glue to the novel's canon cast. Once again, player agency is thrown completely out the window.

Am I the only one who feels totally ripped off by this? The game has such amazing aesthetics and so much wasted potential, but they completely ruined what should have been an incredible role-playing experience.

Personally, I would have preferred if they just made an entirely different game a brand-new adaptation where the focus is actually on our MC as the main protagonist, again, similar to Fire Emblem Three Houses or Baldur’s Gate.
