I wanted to share that I have ported SuperHackio's classic controller patches from Riivolution patches to patch codes.

The main reason I did this is because the use of the Riivolution patches (or hard patching the iso) will not allow you to use Retro Achievements for SMG and SMG2. These patch codes aren't whitelisted, so they won't work with hardcore retroachievements, but they do work with casual achievements. (getting them whitelisted would be great, plus them being in dolphin already would save people the time of adding them).

Another benefit of this method is it's (at least subjectively) more convenient than Riivolution or hard patching.

The original codes, and the mapping images are not my work and were released by SuperHackio on youtube in 2022. I simply converted them. I did use an LLM to assist with the conversion, but only for the sake of saving my time (there are a lot of codes here due to their being so many regions and these codes are LONG). This should be a 1 to 1 conversion, and if anyone finds an error, please let me know and I will correct it.

To use these patch codes, head to the github link, and in the readme select your game version and mapping type, then follow the directions for adding it to dolphin. Only add Nvidia OR Allstars mapping, not both. If you want to swap L and ZL and/or R and ZR, add that as separate patch after the Nvidia or Allstars patch.

Known Issues:
The cursor does not auto-hide when using these patches. This behavior is inherited from the original patches by SuperHackio. I tried to dig into things and find a fix, but it's honestly above my head. If someone submitted a PR with a fix, I would happily merge it (or if they want to do their own patches that fix this issue, I will mark these as depreciated and link to the new patches). Despite this, it doesn't feel like a big issue. I just push the cursor to the top of the screen when not in use.

Only SMG NTSC, SMG PAL, SMG2 NTSC, and SMG2 PAL have been tested, as I don't have copies of the other versions. Please let me know if there is an issue with any of the untested codes.

I have been trying for a couple days now and no matter what I do, I can't get any controller, whether it be my keyboard or a real Wii Remote to connect. Admittedly I only have one game that I'm trying to play, but any time I try and do anything, it will instantly give that text pop up in the top left corner that says "Wii Mote 1 disconnected by emulated software" or something like that. I have looked up every tutorial I can find. I've gotten my Wii remote to connect to my computer just fine, and when I play GameCube games on Dolphin I'm able to use my keyboard without issue. But no matter what I try here, it just won't let me control the game in any way. The game itself is running just fine, but that text that says "disconnected by emulated software" or whatever pops up instantly no matter what I do. I figured this is the only place I could get real people to respond in real time. I'm out of ideas for what to try

I’m on Dolphin version 2606. I just picked up a set of wired Wii rock band drums. I followed the usb passthrough guide using Zadig to install the drivers. The drums work on all the rock band games great.

My problem comes with playing guitar hero games. My understanding is that band hero, gh5, and gh warriors of rock should be compatible with these drums, but when playing them, the player number light never comes on and it’s unresponsive. The games them self are working good with the guitar controller.

The only thing I’ve noticed is that on the USB passthrough guide on the wiki, the Harmonix drum controller is listed with a code of 1BAD 3138, but mine shows up as 1BAD 0005. I’m not sure if this relates to the problem at all with how dolphin or the game handles the code.

I managed to install custom Wii themes on Dolphin emulator on Android without using a tutorial because there aren't any.

I recently found out that only the pal version of Luigi’s Mansion work with retro achievements so I got a copy. The rom shows up in the list of games on Dolphin, but about 5 seconds after launching, it crashes. I’ve never ran into this kinda issue before and I’m a little stumped. Any suggestions or has anybody encountered this before?

Help, I usually play using save states in Dolphin Emulator, but why can't the save state be used all of a sudden? I feel like I didn't press anything. I play one PC, it literally can't be load.

So every time I skip an intro cutscene in adventure mode and in a couple other situations I can't remember off the top of my head, this black box will appear in the center of my screen. It isn't game breaking or anything but it is annoying. I've added pictures of my settings into the video and I am also using the proper widescreen support gecko code.

Is there a way to control a dolphin emulator on android tablette with another android phone?

I own a .CISO of luigis mansion but for it to work on archipelago it has to be a .ISO I remember dolphin used to have a convertor but I cant find it

Hello. I noticed that the 16:9 option for Pikmin Squared wasn't fully wide-screen. But because I wanted to play with the view that onlyhereforpikmun had in his vid about it I tried a few cheat codes but all of them just crashed It. Are there Any working codes?

I’ve been playing on my Thor recently and I have retro achievements enabled. When I start up some games like Luigi’s Mansion, it tells me there isn’t any available achievements, but I’m sure there are definitely some created for the game. How do I get them to show up?

OS: macOS
Game: GoldenEye 007 (Wii)
Controller: Xbox Series X Controller (Bluetooth)

Issue:
The horizontal camera (turning left/right) on the right stick is inverted in-game.

Troubleshooting already completed:
- Swapped Left / Right bindings and inverted +/- axis formulas in Dolphin's Classic Controller Extension settings.
- Changed in-game control schemes (Normal, Legacy, Experienced, Classic Controller, etc.).
- Disabled Wii Remote 1 entirely and switched GameCube Port 1 to Standard Controller.
- Tried calibrating the right stick axes in reverse.

Result:
The game continues to behave as if Classic Controller X-axis bindings are being ignored or overridden by the macOS driver/extension translation layer. Looking for suggestions on how to force Dolphin/macOS to recognize the corrected axis for this specific title.

I moved dolphin handheld and everything in it including save files to my sd card from my retroid flip 2 but the save files won’t load if they’re on the sd card. And when I go to save it creates a save state back on the internal storage. What the hell

im not sure what the issue is, i've tried fresh installing dolphin, i've tried resetting all settings. all my other emulators work fine, but neither gamecube or wii games will work with dolphin. they're all running at like 5fps. i was just playing x-men legends with my friend like 2 days ago just fine.

Hi, I've just started playing Crused Mountain (Wii) on my Anbernic RG476H and I should have everything correctly set up, but when I try to perform that gesture using the right analog stick, where I've mapped the Nunchuck, it doesn't do it. I just got some cheat codes for Rhythm Heaven so that i can always have the opportunity to get a perfect, but when i actually do, it crashes the game, and it only just started happening after I got my cheat codes. I've looked it up a bunch and have done some digging but nobody seems to be having this happen to them.

I just realized that in Dolphin Emulator you can put the normal Wii menu, but the games don't appear, so I'm not sure if it's possible. If anyone knows, please tell me how to do it. 🙏🙏 Thank U

i went to use this gecko code for bleach shattered blade, but when i put it on the actual game runs at double speed and 60 fps instead of 30 fps speed and 60 fps.

Hello, I need help with my audio for dolphin. I have a real wii remote with a dolphin bar, but I lack a external speaker and just stick with a headset. Is there any way to redirect wii remote sounds to my headset? I appreciate any answer, thank you!

I’m not sure as to why this happens, but everytime I clear the app, exit it and launch from front-end it somehow just always signs me out. Im a bit lost and have no idea, anyone have any fixes ?

Hello I have been having trouble with my dolphin emulator lately where it can’t recognize my save file. It first started when I was playing my Pokemon XD file and I saved my game and shut off my computer. After opening my computer again dolphin gave me a pop up message saying it could not find any GameCube/wii iso, I figured out I had to re-set the path to the folder containing my games which I did and here is where the problem continued. After opening Pokemon XD again the game tells me there is no save file on the memory card in slot A. I then opened my user folder and I see both my save files for colosseum and XD in the card A folder as shown in photo attached, so I am confused on why it’s not recognizing my file. I’ve also tried going another route and setting slot A to memory card and importing the file that way but I keep getting this pop up message (second photo attached). What also bugs me is that I also have Pokemon colosseum and when I booted that game up my save file is still there so I don’t know why this is a problem specifically to XD. I have been getting very frustrated trying to get my save file back and playable again, so If anyone can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
