The day after I got Frankie and took her out of the box, my gf tried to take off her shoes to see if another pair would look better with her fit, but her foot immediately snapped off the prosthetic. The support on the ankle part is really weak because of the design, It look really cool and I like that it’s an actual prosthetic, but I’m really disappointed that they didn’t add more support to it. My gf was being really gentle too. Me and my gf collect dolls, we don’t just put them on shelves so Frankie not having a foot is kinda a problem. We just like to pose them cute and brush their hair and stuff. I tried hot gluing her foot back on but it immediately came back off cause the glue didn’t stick, I’m not sure what else will work to fix it, so I just wanna get a doll wheelchair. I also think it would be cool to have a mobility aid too since she has a prosthetic, I’m disabled too and I’d love seeing myself in my dolls. I’ve heard that the Barbie wheel chairs fit some monster high dolls, but I know they’re taller than Barbies and all of them are different heights, so I wanna make sure it will actually work before I buy something. Any ideas to fix her foot snd get it back on would also be appreciated :3

I would like to do something in a rather distant future. But i aint sure if others actually like these proportions as well.

Lately i fell in love with smaller dolls that are articulated and have interchangeable everything. From clothes to hair to even limbs.

So here i am, asking if others also mourn the lack of dolls that properly scratch the itch and if these exaggerated proportions would be appealing in such a doll.

^{hi i noticed that the dolls are going on loop when it comes to being restocked on amazon that i cant keep up with it. i was wondering if they do go back in stock? should i just purchase them right there and there? or should i wait for the regular world wide normal restock that was suppose to be done this month but nothing so far, its scarce on them being restocked inside of target, walmart nothing so far, and amazon well ya know. I am also seeing that the last time one of them was in restock in amazon the wait time for them to come in was on august 2 or later on..so i am legit at lost as to when there exactly suppose to be restocked normally.}

Hi there! I recently found a beautiful Tiana doll at the thrift, sadly she didn't have her shoes. I'm trying to find her a replacement pair but can't really find any info on what different kind of brands would fit. I thought maybe Corolle shoes might fit but was wondering if anyone has any info on that before I make a purchase, thank you!

The girls have been back for almost 6 years now and I thought it would be fun to take a look at the main lines they released. Well to me these are the primary fashion lines anyway. The other lines are more thematic lol

What do we think about the consistency in quality and theme? Do you think they stayed true to each character or took more creative routes?

I think they did capture the core of each character for the lines. Although, I think the most consistent has to be Yasmin and the one that took the biggest shift Is probably Sasha, but I think its for the better in both cases. I think Cloe has the most steady color scheme and the greatest improvement to her face sculpt. And I think Jade had the greatest glowup that highlighted her more alternative characteristics but because of that shes the least consistent although not in a bad way.

Overall, I think the comeback has been a huge success :) in true MGA fashion, theres been a significant price jump with less components. But Im glad the Bratz pack is back and I hope they keep going strong :D

I found a 17" Sailor Moon Adventure Doll in a junk store and I absolutely love it. I have no idea on how to fix dolls but was wondering if anybody can help me with her hair without using heat? The rest looks fine (if you see any problems let me know!) I could watch videos but I rather ask people and keep talking to them incase I have anymore questions and such. Every year I like to turn trash into miniatures for my dolls and I love doing kids birthday parties so this year was a fourth birthday party circus themed!! The theater was made from a crate someone was throwing away and the pillows are from free fabric samples I've collected - all the party circle rings are made from recycled paper and some paint

For Stealing: Any of the dolls from the first picture you can steal from, the closer the doll is to the Mirror Mi in the pic, the better the fit.

For Sewing: Petite Curvy sized patterns, but since her upper/lower body are sliiiightly different, you want to print patterns at 90% for blouses and dresses with full skirts. For pants and only pants, print patterns at 100%. For fitted dresses like a QiPao, print at 95%.

I saw a video from Dallas Doll Co where she cut the hair off an Our Generation doll's rooted hair and replaced it with a wig.

Has anyone tried to do this with an ILY 4ever doll and have the size/ears be okay with a glued down wig?

I'd love to customize an American Girl doll eventually but want to try with what we have on hand first. Thank you!
