Can I take a class that's marked "to do" but not "proposed" on my progression chart.Because last semester, I was not able to do so. I have all prerequisites required.

I just finished sec 4 and my moyenne was pretty bad (85, FOR NOW, because i plan on retaking my math ministry exam even tho i passed it) and i really want to do health science.
I know the cutoff is very high, and I don’t have COE so the process is only wayyy more competitive, but if I really really lock in for sec 5 will I manage to round up a good average? Lmk

Would any of you happen to know if it would be better for me to take notes on an iPad, a laptop or on a notebook?

This is my first semester at Dawson in psychology and I have a lot of questions about what's coming up soon :

1. When can we start registration for our courses?

2. Should I opt for written notes or online notes (on computer) during classes?

3. Which teachers are well reputed (for good reasons) and which ones should I avoid in my program?

4. Is it worth it to go to the Welcome Day?

5. How much does it cost for the reduced OPUS card? (be totally honest)

6. What is Dawson's daily atmosphere?

I know this is a lot but I was hoping if someone could answer these since most of us new students probably are nervous about college.

i am so confused as to why people get excited to look at the timetable pdf. every time i have tried to build my own schedule with the teachers i want, the school would have already chosen like 3-4 classes i cant change and fitting anything i want around them is impossible. then during course change i cant even type in the classes i want its just a really random selection of teachers. also, should i be concerned about university prerequisites? since i cant ever seem to get the classes i want i haven't gotten into that yet!

Hi everyone, I’m a first year student starting this fall and I was wondering if there were any possible ways to change my program before the start of the session.
For context, earlier this year I was taking the prerequisites classes for the Enriched natural science program and since I only started in February I didn’t have enough grades in my transcript to apply (I would’ve gotten rejected). So my advisor told me to apply for the literature program and then try to switch programs once I get in. But now, I’ve read that the enriched natural science program is only offered on the fall session which means that I would have to spend one year in the literature program.
So I was wondering if anyone else is or was in the same situation and if yes what would you guys do or planning to do.

Note: I have strong grades for all the prerequisites of the enriched natural science program so I’m not too worried about getting in if I’m being able to switch or apply again.
