I used to consider this matchup Singed. But ever since the phase rush removal, i havent been able to not sololose the game in even 1 game against Darius. There seems to be 0 counterplay.

He has stormraiders, meanwhile you cannot proc it. You lose short trades, you lose long trades. After one E, you are down to 60% health and must recall. He rushes movespeed, and still oneshots somehow, and after force of nature, you can NEVER damage him.

Do i just skip waves, and like not even be in lane? I genuinely do not see any counterplay here, but maybe you can change my mind

Morde nerfs make me want to learn Darius now 😭😭😭 for soloq climbing out of emerald

Took a break from Darius and toplane in general to try and get masters on jg

Coming back to Darius and toplane I've started playing the stormraider exhaust ghost blade build and it feels insanely strong, viable every single game

Every fight feels like you have a budget ghost but you get to take sorcery tree AND resolve, only loss you have is conq damage which isnt that noticeable + u go ghostblade so you end up doing more damage than stride conq

Having exhaust in lane feels so strong again so many matchups but also in team fights , combined with ms from storm raider some matchups become so much easier

For example against Jax if you catch him with your Q and he doesnt Q into you to dodge you can auto w and IT will proc your rune , from here you can choose to space him while u wait for Q cd, he cant jump on you and E since u r so fast but he cant auto you either

Imo this is way stronger than ghost conq , havent faced a Darius with exhaust yet myself but it must be very scary to lane into

What's your opinion on Doran's Helm / Bow angles? I'm more interested in Helm as that one confuses me (could it work into Jax?). Also want to know when I can slot in Shojin rush and how to play w/ shojin rush. I already have a rough idea when to opt for trinity, stride, and ghostblade.

Can I play Darius in jungle? Like is he viable in the jungle or is picking him pretty much just signing my team up for a disadvantage unless I am like diamond or something?

I just got diamond for the first time playing mainly Darius and things are very difficult around here

Feels like every game they pick 3 ranged minimum, a mobile assassin and an enemy favored matchup top or a counterpick if I first pick

Mistakes are punished far more harshly. People actually have a solid map and macro understanding

Any tips for this elo? Especially macro mistakes that you often see that get ironed out in the higher elos? Anything Darius specific?

I’ve been trying to pick up Darius lately and he feels quite difficult in certain aspects of the game. I’ll try to elaborate:

Early Lane Phase: Not Really a problem so far save a few scary characters like Morde and Urgot, which feels like how he should be considering his strength stat checking. I got absolutely fisted by a Fiora level 1 but live and learn.

Mid Game: No idea what to do. Normally I just farm as much as I can top lane and use my teleport to join in the fight I can. Until you get your defensive items you are so squishy in those first few brawls if they all decide to turn on you. Ghostblade gives you the gap close but I feel like you get shredded so quickly.

Late Game: More comfortable once I have my defensive items to survive some initial burst. Gives you time to get the five stacks and then try to chain it. Still difficult to deal with certain champs like Brand or Cassio who slow you with Rylai’s.

Need some advice for the mid game / how you can snowball with him. I’m somewhat adverse to tower diving unless I’m 99% sure it’s a kill.

Title: I often win top lane, but games feel impossible when the enemy bot/jungle gets fed—what should I change?

I’m currently Gold 3 and mainly play Darius. In my recent games, I often leave lane ahead, but I struggle to convert that advantage into consistent wins during the mid and late game.

I’m not here to rant or blame my teammates. I know I also have bad games and make mistakes. I’m looking for general feedback on carrying games when I have a lead but another enemy lane, particularly bot lane or jungle, is also ahead.

The recurring problem is that while I’m playing through top lane, the enemy bot lane or jungler often becomes extremely fed. By the time I interact with the rest of the map, it feels like my lead is no longer enough. In several matches, I feel as though I have to stay alive and execute every fight perfectly because if I die once, the team loses its main source of pressure and the game effectively ends.

I sometimes manage to carry, but many games feel nearly impossible when the enemy already has multiple fed champions. At the same time, I realize that consistently blaming teammates would prevent me from identifying the decisions I can actually improve.

Based on these results, what should I examine in my own gameplay?

• Should I leave top earlier, even if it costs farm, plates or tower pressure?
• Should I prioritize protecting my shutdown instead of forcing fights?
• How should Darius approach games where the enemy bot lane is already far ahead?
• When should I group rather than continue applying pressure in a side lane?
• Do my relatively low kill-participation numbers suggest that I’m influencing the map too late?

I’m looking for honest advice about macro, rotations and converting a top-lane lead, not simply confirmation that my teammates are the problem.

Loving Darius so far this has probably been posted many times but to ask more specifically,

Level 1 fist fighting what champs can beat Darius level 1? want to ask instead of inting in game matchup I haven't faced yet

Like specifically if Darius takes ignite and bone plating for max lvl 1 cheese?

Do trundle, urgot, sett, etc still win if I take ignite bone plating W start?

If so how to play the lane?

Mercs are lower than tabbis because tabbis can be rushed as spike items against a lot of champs. With mercs you shouldn't really rush them except like kennen and gragas

Fon is an excellent item for darius but i don't like it that much as second item. Buying either a negatron or null mantle and then going dmp or dd feels better than completing fon right away if they are 1-2 ap

Mercurial scimitar is really slept on. Insane item against cc, movement speed is great and magic resistance is really appreciated

I still think stride is the worst out of the 4 most built first items

Hullbreaker is good against random bs enchanters on top like zilean or ivern coupled with demolish. And also ok if you completely doomed your lane+you are tilted and can only split push

Jak'sho is a great item, but usually too expensive to fit anywhere in the build.

Sundered is also ok,but i never build this item. There are almost always better options but i know some people like it and it's decent on aram .

Maw and hexdrinker is also really slept on. Really good as rush item vs morde and gwen. The shield scales with ad, so you get insane shields even early on,omnivamp is also nice. Be mindful when you buy it though,it locks you out of steraks

Only buy spirit visage when you have a strong enchanter in your team and need mr, otherwise there are better options

Mortal reminder is the best anti heal item on darius. Chempunk is ass and only buy thornmail if you bought bramble in lane and even then finish it last

You shouldn't really be the one to buy serpents fang. But i guess the stats are ok

Eternal hunger is only good into heavy melee comps. Otherwise never buy

GA good mostly when they have a lot of ad and you need to protect a big shutdown

Rookern is outclassed by other mr items. If they are 4-5 ap and you have a decent amount of bonus health then it's good to buy

Ioanian boots also fall into the "okish but always better options" , summoner spell haste is really good on darius but never worth sacrificing mercs or tabbis for it. Upgraded ionian boots used to be sleeper good but now they are only available on mid and they got nerfed so meh.

I previously said that Divine God-King Darius would return in Patch 26.17. It turns out he's actually returning in Patch 26.15 (July 29) after appearing on the PBE. So I was off by two patches.

I apologize to anyone I may have disappointed with my prediction. It was never a leak; it was simply my best estimate based on the information available at the time. I genuinely believed Patch 26.17 was the most likely outcome. This time, the less likely scenario (which I had estimated at around a 20% chance) ended up being the correct one.

Fallen God-King Garen is returning as well.

I am very new to league and have loved for the most part playing Darius. I find some matchups I play well but ranged I struggle with kiting and I am curious if there are some items in which are non negotiable for your build? I understand for the most part items will change with who you are against but what are some that always get picked?

So im realy strugling with the mundo matchup all mundos i face play realy passive and primarily farm with q and dont give oportunitys for trades and once he gets warmogs runing it feels like i already lost since i cant really 100 to 0 him and if my team doesmt have a %hp damaging champ i feel like its lost whats the best build for mundo and how should i go about the mu what shoild i do except dodge qs what are my options

I switched from Top to Jungle recently because of the current pdf toplane meta.

I've only played adc for like 11 years but I wanted to try top. This guy seems to lose every stat check against the characters I've played against so far (Garen, Locke, Kayle) and u.gg wants me to build youmoos first? it doesnt help me be tanky or stat check, I dont understand this shit at all.
