I genuinely think Superman would've looked so much more iconic in Batman Beyond if they had just kept his classic "S" shield instead of replacing it with the angular emblem. I made this quick edit to see what it'd look like and I think it gives him a much stronger presence. What do you guys think?

The movie takes place in the Arkham verse, which has pretty good explanations for a lot of things, except this really, is it like tech? Or does Bruce just have that good of a vocal range, he can copy voices

Saw a clip, looked interesting, especially with the art style, designs were hit or miss, but the voice acting good, the story seems like it can be interesting too, is it worth watching??

Them boys were going AT IT lol. Honestly thought Bruce was gon take the loss on this one but man, this was a damn good movie and overall decent end for The New Batman Adventures show. Definitely one of my fave bat suits to this day in Batman media anything. 🦇

I am aware that in the Batman Vs TMNT movie this fight happened, but since these are two entirely different version from series of around that time, i thought it would be very interesting.

For those who might not know: This Shredder here is actually a Utrom, a small yet extremely intelligent alien that pilots a body made of extremely advance alien (Utrom specifically) technology that have centuries of combat experience and is extremely powerful, strong enough to stomp all four Turtles at once (Leonardo is capable of casually pushing a giant pillar with his legs) and have bested Splinter in most of their encounters, he is strong enough to survive the explosion of a ship and once even survived the explosion of the T.C.R.I. building (which the military couldn't damage at all) without his armor, and his fighting style is purely with lethal intent.

For Batman Vengence and Superman Shadow of Apokolips just pay a programmer/developer to improve on phisics and combat mechanics, for god sake I know DC fans that would do this for free.

For Superman 64 just use the ps1 unfinished prototype as a basis, they would have FREE MARKETING just making a slight better version of the game on UNITY. Same for Return of the Joker Game.

I just think that he’s really cool within the DCAU. From his first appearance in Superman the animated series, all the way up to being part of a group in JLU. His magical affinity, his wisdom, and his love for Izna. Great character.

Genuinely loved this episode of TNBA!! Got to see Robin teach Clark how to be a decent Bruce, the baddies being stunned that Batman is way more stronger for some reason lol, just an overall good episode. That fight between Clark and Bane was so one-sidedley good too hahaha.

Just curious since I haven’t seen BTAS in such a long time that I forgot how the show’s lore worked, but I recently saw a clip of Lock Up attempting to kidnap a woman for speaking the truth about injustice in Gotham City.

But basically I was interested in seeing what villains from BTAS had become a permanent part of the DC Comics universe since I know that Harley Quinn was turned into a canon character, but I wasn’t sure about Lock Up regarding his character use.

Wish this show got to continue, it deserves it's flowers so much. One of the the most underrated parts of the DCAU, the characters and the storytelling was honestly very compelling! Zeta and Ro are just so cool and fascinating to me still. 😊

Probably my favorite character of the DCAU, besides Batman cuz yk, it’s Batman. But still, It’s crazy that he’s only the main guy in like 2(.5?) episodes. Literally the best part of the show(JLU), but there’s barely any episodes with him. I’d watch a whole show based around him. Some might say it’s implausible to make a show about him, that there wouldn’t be enough stuff to write about. But they literally made a Superman show. If they can make a show about the literal strongest man in the world interesting(no disrespect to superman) they can make a show about the question. DCAU is over tho and he’s too obscure of a character so it would never happen. A man can hope tho☹️

Yeah there's just something about the DC animated movies that are great while high. Big fan of the tight stories, short runtime (trust me, 7 minutes can feel like 20), and the sound design makes them super cinematic (and again, trust me, sound/music is definitely a weed thing)

• Superman: Red Son (the comic's better tho)
• Justice League: Gods & Monsters

• The Powerpuff Girls Movie (this is a "Brown M&M Question"/hail mary but PPG did have a run with DC Comics so this might actually count)

• Superman/Batman: Apocalypse (admittedly I wasn't paying attention to these, so I might revisit)

* It was set after Hawkgirl (Shayera) returned to the Justice League

* Bruce was expelled from the Justice League because the other members discovered his Tower of Babel contingency plans

* After being expelled, Bruce returned to Gotham and continued working alone.

* He eventually took on a large number of Gotham rogues by himself, with the final and most brutal fight being against Bane.

* Bruce ended up comatose, and the League brought him to the Watchtower.

* J'onn J'onzzentered Bruce's subconscious/mind to save him, and the other founding League members went with him. I'm fairly sure the group included:

* Superman

* Wonder Woman

* Flash (Wally)

* John Stewart

* Hawkgirl (Shayera)

* Dick Grayson

* Possibly Barbara Gordon (Oracle)—I vaguely remember her wheelchair appearing. It may have been Tim Drake instead, possibly Jason Todd.

* Bruce's subconscious was made up of symbolic trials that the group had to complete.

* Throughout the journey, they discovered personal keepsakes/trinkets after beating a trial.

The only rule is that we have to have seen the character die. The camera cuttingbaway as they face their impending doom then back to showing their dead body or a character being in an inescapable deadly situation and not being seen afterwards also counts.

I’ve been watching JLU and really liking it. I think that 2x13 is supposed to be the finale to Batman Beyond but will Batman Beyond be ruined by me watching this episode. Batman Beyond seems really cool, but i don’t wanna feel like i have to watch 3 seasons of another show to watch what is supposedly one of the best JLU episodes. What should I do?

Edit: For context, i’ve watched like 4 episodes of Batman Beyond and watched Batman Beyond: Return of The Joker.

Edit #2- I ended up watching the episode. For others with a similar question, the only Batman Beyond episodes that would be needed to understand the episode is the 2 part pilot.
With business taken care of, let me just say that was one of the best episodes of the DCAU i’ve ever seen. I’d already seen the Ace clip before, yet it still made me cry. The voice actor for Ace is so good, just makes the whole thing way better. Additionally, the rest of the episode is also peak. Terry being Bruce’s son fits so well, it makes me wonder if they had it all planned out as soon as they started Batman Beyond. Such a peak episode. Check it out even if you’re not a Batman Beyond fan, it was just so damn good.

Really good soundtrack tbh and Kristopher Carter did an exceptional job with scoring ROTJ just like the BB episodes and this is why the DCAU had such great music since Shirley Walker and Kristopher Carter did excellent scoring!

And Bruce Timm was showrunner in both shows.

Grew up with the DCAU, BTAS and JL/JLU specifically, and I’ve been watching STAS and OH MY GOD ITS SO SO SO GOOD. There’s about 100 things I could praise but Christ the score is so MOVING. It takes the show so seriously, too.

Beside them thinking they're protecting terry by not having him deal with joker, I feel the trauma from the robin stuff also ahd an influence on their behavior during the movie, per example both not being that willing to tell terry what happened or bruce stupid kid line, his trauma resurfacing could've made him harsher at that moment
